The red gearhulk seems to be made especially for Daretti. It can either fill your hand or your 'yard so it's win/win. If an opponent decides to put them in the yard, fire to the face. Also, a very political card. If you want to draw, choose an opponent with whom you made a temporary alliance or an opponent who can't risk getting direct damage. Having an etb clause means epic abuse with both Daretti and Goblin Welder.

My thoughts exactly. Whatever they choose, it's win/win for us. Definitely glad it is an ETB trigger. Gonna be really sweet with Daretti's Emblem.
Haven't gotten to play it yet. Will hopefully come across it in testing to let you know. I'm thinking there may need to be a sac outlet to run in conjunction with it to get better use out of it.
Holy moly! The Kaladesh Inventions are crazy! Daretti is definitely getting some more loving this set!

My wife is destined to murder me now... so many of those would fit in this deck and the temptation to go all in to get them is rough...
I might just focus on getting foil copies and end it at that lol...
EDIT: Red Gearhulk is a beast, definitely an auto-include.

The copper color scheme is so perfect for Daretti. I don't know how I'll afford all the ones I want for this deck.
Mycosynth lattice is a key card for many combo. You shouldn't cut it.
Lattice+ vandalblast
Lattice+ Karen, silver golem
Lattice+ darksteel forge
Lattice+ hellkite tyrant
Lattice + Unwinding clock
Lattice+ scrap mastery
Yeah, if anything Lattice is definitely one of the best cards I have in my deck. I have a long list of cards I'd cut before I even considered cutting Lattice.
I think of cutting Mycosynth Lattice Cause it hasnt much synergy excecpt for being able to Sac everything into daretti (needed?) and getting free stuff when Mycosynth Golem is out...
Yeah, you should only consider cutting Lattice if your opponents have a problem with you blowing up all the lands.
Am I the only one who isn't completely sold on Combustible Gearhulk? I keep envisioning these scenarios where you spend 6 mana to mill a basic mountain, a spell, and some random artifact that may or may not be useful at the time and wondering "is this really the best use of this slot in the deck?" I guess if you work the table enough you might be able to get an opponent to let you draw the cards, but it still seems vastly worse than the white, blue, and black ones, which provide you guaranteed, immediate card advantage that doesn't need to combo with another card to be useful.
A cheap beater. Imagine with mana rocks likes trans dynamo, essentially it can come down very early. If played with akroma memorial, it is a 10/10 akroma that cost only 3 or perhaps even free.
So I've been trading and tweaking my list. I'm trying to figure out if there is a good way to get an all is dust, past in flames and a thought vessel into the list without going down rules. Also if there is more mana rocks that create rules like chromatic lantern and thought vessel that I missed. I'm thinking of dropping thopter assembly for the red gearhulk it'll mean I'm vulnerable to flyers but whether it sticks around to make 5 flyers is a gamble and increasing the draw power could be useful.
One notable feature about metalwork colossus is when it's in your graveyard and you cast scrap mastery, you can use its ability multiple times to recur all your artifacts back onto the battlefield. And then you can cast it for free. He's kinda like a slobad that you can pitch to the grave.
Edit: He would almost always be something you pitch to daretti's ability so you can do scrap mastery shenanigans, return spine of ish sah to your hand, protect your artifacts from getting stolen/exiled, putting something in the graveyard so you can cheat it out somehow, etc.

That's actually pretty interesting. I don't know why I never thought of that. The nice thing about it is that it can come at a surprise as it will be in your graveyard and your opponents may have already forgotten about it. I may have to reconsider it.

Yeah the colossus is not bad at all. And when you use it, it comes back to your hand so you have another card to pitch to daretti. The enormous amount of synergy that card has with all aspects of the deck is enough for me. I'm definitely going to try it out.
I'm a bit undecided on how good the quicksmith is. He's decent, but not great. I like the way he cycles through your library faster and he'll help me get to scrap mastery or the combo piece I need. Plus there are times where I wish I could use daretti twice in one turn - once to put the artifact in the graveyard and again to cheat it out, so quicksmith will help with that. My deck is lacking in blockers and everyone likes to attack daretti so having a 3/2 on the board will discourage some of that. I'd say he's worth playtesting too.
My build has too many combos in it so I think I'll take out a couple combo pieces and replace them with those two creatures.

Now that the whole set has been spoiled, my plan is to go through the deck and decide what hasn't been pulling any weight and cut it to make room for the new stuff. We will see if there are many changes or just a few.
Edit: It's less obvious that I thought, trying to work it out.
Anyway, here are my swaps:
Combustible Gearhulk < Scuttling Doom Engine - Either I refill my hand, or I deal up to 34 damage (it might average lower than Doom Engine, but it does more for me overall). Madcap Experiment < Tamiyo's Journal - The clue tokens just didn't do that much for me. Metalwork Colossus < Winter Orb - I just didn't have enough ways to tap the orb, and it ended up not being that much fun, anyway. Colossus is potentially a very early beater, a recurrable discard and a sac outlet.
Metalwork Colossus: He looks like a vanilla beater but his abiltiy to synergies mentioned above makes a compelling arurment for him(Also im lacking giant beaters and only have Colossus of Akros in the emantime) Combustile Gearhulk: Getting cards in our graveyard is great, specially if we get the big ones and we get to burn the eprson who made the wrong choice Madcap Experiment: i'm abit iffy on this because of its luck based nature. We can get a potentially giant beater or a small manarock. Atleast with abundance of artifacts in the deck we won't get burned that mutch. Also no idea what to takeout for this... Quicksmith Genius: This card feels synergistic Aetherworks Marvel: Not sure of how mutch potential energy thsi deck can generate because i feels it will be stuck on the abttlefield doing nothing for alot of turns. Filigree Familiar: Feels small but i like it just an earlly defender and sacrifice target dor daretti. It also replaces itself witch is always important. Inventor's Fair: Slamdunk land

I'm thinking of adding back Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer to better abuse some of these newer cards, like Combustible Gearhulk and Aetherworks Marvel.
My initial testing of some of the newer cards saw me taking out High Market for Inventors' Fair and Hellkite Igniter for Aetherworks Marvel. May end up cutting Codex Shredder for the Gearhulk, but will have to wait until full set is spoiled before doing a full revamp.

Sequestered Stash is a land I could see added here. Puts goodies into the graveyard and gives us another artifact to use again.
