I love the deck, but finding issues with the mana base, I think it’s trying to do too much. I’m not liking the artifact lands. I’ve found myself either mulling down to get all of my colors, or stuck on 2 and not being able to cast Sidisi. I’m cutting Sequestered Stadh, and the artifact lands. Adding in the 3 on color fetches, Phyrexian Tower, and Miren. The fetches help us get to our colors, and makes Life from the Loam so much better. Phyrexian Tower paired with Volrath’s Stronghold can help us stick a creature from play onto our deck, and can also save a creature from being exiled. Miren, simple for life gain and currently not willing to shell our for a Diamond Valley. Also not sure about Nykthos, most of our boardstate turns out to be Black Zombie Tokens that don’t help with devotion.

As for the mana base, you could add the fetchlands if you like. When I play I'm not usually too worried about the mana base so long as I can play things. Having a three-colored commander can be difficult to cast early due to color screw. However, there aren't many multicolored spells in the deck and it is a bit balanced as far as colors go. The reason I include the artifact lands is due to them having a dual type. I can recur them from the graveyard with more cards than a normal land plus I can fetch them for free with Tezzeret the Seeker. Again, I'm not claiming that this is the most optimal way to go, but it is a way that has worked for me. I understand the allure of the fetchlands thanks to Life from the Loam and if you're running Chromatic Lantern and/or Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth then they're still usable even after fetching for all possible lands. They also help thin the deck of lands. However, I would rather have slots for utility lands than fetchlands especially when Tezzeret can fetch 3 of them for free.
The inclusion of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is because I do tend to have a couple of permanents in play that aren't zombie tokens so any lands that can give me a net mana advantage of more than 1 mana is good by me. So, I just played with someone who built this kind of deck, but it had a few problems. He had some of the good synergies, but he focused way too much on self milling and his cards were unreliable at offering any sort of attrition advantage or even mana/card advantage.
I think from observation one of the downsides of this kind of list is that your deckbuilding constraints prevent you from playing a high density of efficient mana accelerants, meaning that you can still lose the multiplayer race of "having more stuff" than the opponent. This is where cards like your lands and the land support package (that person should have been running the flip cradle) attempt to do such. When I piloted it, I essentially ran into this problem of paying 4-5 mana for.. moderately impactful plays. It works against my tier 2 decks (maybe not The Scarab God because of the obvious) but his version seems to be mulched on by Edgar and Xenagod. I think he took it apart after I nuked him completely on turn 5 because well... no one killed Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and I had 17 mana total and 15 extra cards to work with and proceeded to chain extra combats on a hexproof creature. Edgar similarly can just slam down Purphoros, God of the Forge, Shared Animosity, or just Throne of the God-Pharaoh and start rapidly depleting life totals. It also doesn't help that these are kind of difficult matchups at times, as Edgar gets going faster (and pretty much demands wipes) and Xenagod will find a way to punch through any number of blockers and avoids sorcery speed removal and wipes.
I guess this is why it is emphasized how good the cradle and coffers package is in this deck because that is the deck's way of "going unfair" with a type of deck that is usually considered inherently fair. I think if this friend of mine wants to build this deck, he needs to focus on such. If he had this package, I think he could survive Edgar and be consistent enough that some of the time he can win against Xenagod because that deck didn't hit its burst draw.
Also, I think he was playing Splinterfright and dredgers. Gonna say that playing dredgers feels like the wrong way to play it when you don't inherently have a way of accessing the graveyard from the command zone because dredging costs valuable draw steps.
I hope you think my analysis of this specific situation is correct.
Edit: Actually your best defense is Vengeful Pharaoh. That guy is a boss. He definitely should have included that. It might not save him from the 28-damage hits but at least it staves off the initial attacks.
The first version of this deck focused too heavily on self-mill and dredging and wasn't doing anything else that was useful. That's why I limited the self-milling to spells that could fill the graveyard and trigger Sidisi while also recovering something. That way there's more than one thing happening per every action taken.
Lands are super important. It's one of the reasons I also run Tezzeret and the allowable artifact lands. I also run land untappers in order to abuse Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Gaea's Cradle, Cabal Coffers, and Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun. The deck isn't super fast as getting mana into play, but it does run Sol Ring, Ancient Tomb, Temple of the False God, and other big mana permanents. The deck isn't super fast, but it's not built for speed. If you're targeted from the onset by players like the ones you mentioned, you just have to retaliate in kind and see if you can get them before they get you.
Vengeful Pharaoh is great because people forget it's in the graveyard (just don't you forget as well!) and after the damage has been dealt, you get to destroy an attacker for free. Sure, you still have to get hit, but if you survive then one of their creatures won't. I have considered a board wipe or two but honestly haven't needed one. Since I'm running a horde deck, chances are someone's gonna be wrathing me anyways. So in a multiplayer game there's bound to be someone who wipes the board. In any case, Cyclonic Rift gets the job done better than any Wrath of God or Damnation ;).
Although I can understand how many players would want to play cards that get pumped due to the amount of creatures in graveyards (Splinterfright and the like), I found them to be incredibly lackluster. You sometimes have a huge creature with no sort of evasion and with a huge target painted on its back. If running a deck like this isn't enough recourse for opponents to try and exile your graveyard, doing so also kills any creatures whose p/t is equal to the amount of creatures in your graveyard.
The Zombie Build is much more linear in strategy and gets fatties online much quicker than the Main Build. However, the Main Build has a bigger toolbox and can deal with more kinds of threats than the Zombie Build can. But if I were to consider speed as a factor of playing in a particular pod, then the Zombie Build is definitely the way to go. It also has more wincons independent of combat damage while also being able to amass more zombie tokens much more quickly. This means you can go tit for tat against Edgar Markov (at least before he gets Purphoros, God of the Forge in play). Even then, you can copy Purph with Clever Impersonator and literally fight fire with fire. Clever Impersonator is such an amazing card. I've yet to clone a Purphoros but if I ever do, it's definitely GG.

Oh, you bet! I saw it yesterday and was blown away! I easily saw like 7 cards that could be discussed and 2 or 3 that are barely auto-includes. I didn't mention anything due to the leak and whatnot, but I've definitely started brainstorming.

So I've been playing Sidisi for quite a while but never posted in this thread.
My build is more centered on playing a Living Death and combo out from there(Or just win thanks to an overwhelming board presence), and besides expensive cards I'm not sure how to improve the deck further. The deck is already fast enough for my playgroup(Turn 5 kills when the stars align are fun) so I want to focus on lowering my curve and having more interaction.
This deck was born out of a need to force people to run graveyard hate, and I don't mind being that weak to it. Any suggestions?
I see that your deck is way more creature heavy than mine is. However, with your meta getting more resilient and faster, how has your deck fared? I see you have quite the amount of lands that enter the battlefield tapped. Has that been a hindrance for you? Maybe add Phyrexian Altar to get more colored mana out of your sacrifices - especially for before you cast Living Death.
On that note, you don't really have a lot of consistent or mass reanimation apart from Living Death. You also don't have a lot of cards for self-milling (or even discarding - or drawing for that fact), either. How do you get most of your reanimation targets in the graveyard? How often are you able to trigger Sidisi for its ability?
I feel that maybe keeping to the same mentality, the new BUG legend from Dominaria would be a better commander for what you want to achieve with the deck. Even better than The Mimeoplasm or Sidisi, Brood Tyrant. That being said, if you do want to stick to Sidisi and keep the strategy you should definitely add more self-milling and recursion. Especially if Living Death gets countered or ends up in the graveyard somehow.

Final Parting seems very good for the deck. It costs 1 more than Jarad's Orders but it's easier to cast being monoB. Additionally, it lets me choose any two card types instead of specifically choosing two creatures. Meaning I can "Entomb" a creature while tutoring for something to my hand. It's definitely worth considering, whether as a replacement to Jarad's Orders (since it has the same speed) or as a replacement to something else. The swap would definitely have to be a noncreature spell.

For five mana it enables the Urborg + Filth combo. That's mostly why I thought Sidisi needs this.

Exactly; this card alone enables one of the most important 2-card combos of the deck. It's definitely an auto-include. I still don't know if I would swap it for Jarad's Orders though since it still has a similar function albeit with 2 creatures. I'll analyze my list a bit more with what's been spoiled so far. Muldrotha, the Gravetide is another card that definitely wants to be in the deck. Muldrotha fixes one of the main issues with the deck which is recurring non-creatures and non-lands from the graveyard. In a single turn I can play a card of each type from the graveyard. It being a creature makes it easy to cheat into play as well. So there are a couple of amazing cards that will once again force me into making tough choices with what to cut from the deck.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Dark Bargain - A great card for top-deck filtering. You get to choose any card and send the other two to the graveyard, thus triggering Sidisi.
Final Parting - Should definitely find a home for the deck. This card alone enables the Filth + Urborg combo.
The Mending of Dominaria - Interesting spell. Albeit a bit expensive and noncreature, it can self-mill trice while recovering a creature in the process. However, it shuffles all my nonlands from my graveyard into the library. This is a bit irksome if I want things in the graveyard. It's also at the beginning of my upkeep so it wouldn't be when I want (such as discarding an Eldrazititan in response to having my graveyard exiled).
Song of Freyalise - The amount of mana I can generate thanks to this is insane! And then with the last chapter I'm able to give some ridiculous boons to my zombie horde. Unfortunately, it also puts a clock on you which could potentially paint a huge target on your back.
Muldrotha, the Gravetide - An autoinclude. I could cast play any card type from my graveyard during my turn. So if I need to cast a planeswalker, instant, sorcery, etc. directly from my graveyard I'll be able to.
Helm of the Host - This would be interesting to fool around with. Equipping Sidisi with it would be bonkers because she'd trigger when entering the battlefield and then I'd get an additional zombie when self-milling a creature. Sidisi wouldn't be the only one benefitting from it, either; it could also be equipped to Eternal Witness, Rune-Scarred Demon, Riftsweeper, Craterhoof Behemoth, etc.
Whisper, Blood Liturgist - Great card similar to Hell's Caretaker but better because it doesn't depend on the upkeep step. It can also be abused with creature untappers.
While I was analyzing the deck to see how I could incorporate these amazing cards, I want to try and also make it more efficient. I need to find a slot for Final Parting, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and Path of Discovery. Not only that but I also have too many utility lands (13, to be exact) that tap for colorless. Although I run Chromatic Lantern, it's a three-colored deck with each color having some presence. So the fact remains that I need to improve my mana base. Here's the list of lands that provide colorless:
Of those, Cabal Coffers doesn't even tap for mana on its own. Granted, with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in play they'd all tap for at least B. Lands I know I could cut are Reliquary Tower, Darksteel Citadel (even though I use it with Tezzeret the Seeker), Ancient Tomb, and Temple of the False God. Although the latter two give me 2 mana, they're colorless and don't make it any easier to cast Sidisi. If I include fetches, there are currently 9 they could fetch for. I could add Dryad Arbor which is a land that would trigger Sidisi if milled but it can also be fetched. However, once I get the lands fetched, the fetchlands are pretty useless. But that's something I'd consider testing anyways.

I think your cuts are stash and citadel. I'd probably go so far as to trim even more colorless lands, as going down to 11 from 13, you still have a lot of them. I rate tomb very highly, and Temple of the False God is usually cuttable in more tuned lists.
Fetch lands are good. On color ones are a high priority as they are far less likely to become dead if you mill a good portion of the fetchable lands.

Hm... what other cuts would you consider in the colorless utility lands?

Yeah, Reliquary Tower wasn't cutting it. I added Alchemist's Refuge when Prophet of Kruphix got banned (alone with Seedborn Muse). Nephalia Drownyard is used when I have leftover mana but it's not entirely useless. But if it could get cut it wouldn't be such a big deal. Thing is, if I cut Alchemist's Refuge I might cut Seedborn Muse. I've been winning more games in a single turn then attack all to untap all and be ready for blocking. And it makes me an immediate target. So I could make space for fetchlands and Dryad Arbor by cutting

Hm, you're right about Seedborn Muse; it's just too busted in this deck - especially with Opposition.
Your cuts are all great cuts. Reliquary Tower isn't really that necessary because I don't flood my hand with cards. Ramunap Excavator is Crucible of Worlds on a body but Muldrotha, the Gravetide does all of that and more. I can see how swapping out Jarad's Orders for Final Parting would be a good move. I'm a bit hesitant on that, though; I want to see what other potential cut I could make for it. Because at the end of the day, Jarad's Orders is still another 2-card tutor - even if just to tutor for two creatures.

Muldrotha, the Gravetide is frickin broken in Sidisi. You may think of casting the big spells from your grave but she really shines in playing small stuff like a used Expedition Map for the full circle of Cabal Coffers, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Thespian's Stage and Deserted Temple. Sure, sometimes you get to cast big stuff and I just played a test game with her against a Nath of the Gilt-Leaf discard deck I built together with my boyfriend. And boy, he hated it so much when I casted a Rune-Scarred Demon from my graveyard to get a Cyclonic Rift and wiped his scary boardstate away that would have killed me otherwise in the next turn.
I'm glad someone sold Muldrotha to me after the Prerelease for 5€. At the moment, the price still drops but I think it is likely to explode when the EDH players realize her full potential with cards like Dream Halls etc.
Also I really like Helm of the Host and would love to play it in Sidisi but don't know what to cut :/
I missed the prerelease :'( That was where I was hoping to score some goodies to test with.
Damn! Nice plays! Yeah, it can definitely lend itself to some abusive recurring engines. Muldrotha, the Gravetide is definitely an EDH powerhouse but I don't think it'll increase in price due to EDH. It's not currently on a watchlist for any other format so it's safe to say it'll lower in price. I'm gonna swap Ramunap Excavator for it.
I love Helm of the Host so much in theory! There's just so many great creatures in this deck in order to abuse it. But, as tends to be the case with Sidisi, the cuts! They're just so agonizing!

Picked up a bundle yesterday and got the gravetide from it. Now I am not sure if I want to toss it in my sidisi somewhere or if I temporary make my sidisi deck to a gravetide one and make some small adjustments to make it fit gravetide better. How well do the gravetide fit with zombies?

The deck is already fast enough for my playgroup(Turn 5 kills when the stars align are fun) so I want to focus on lowering my curve and having more interaction.
This deck was born out of a need to force people to run graveyard hate, and I don't mind being that weak to it. Any suggestions?

Fetch lands are good. On color ones are a high priority as they are far less likely to become dead if you mill a good portion of the fetchable lands.
The Unidentified Fantastic Flying Girl.
EDH
Xenagos, the God of Stompy
The Gitrog Monster: Oppressive Value.
Marchesa, Marionette Master - Undying Robots
Yuriko, the Hydra Omnivore

Hm... what other cuts would you consider in the colorless utility lands?

In my build I will probably cut Reliquary Tower for Dryad Arbor, Ramunap Excavator for Muldrotha, the Gravetide and Jarad's Orders for Final Parting.
Unfortunately I don't know when I'm going to play this deck the next time. Probably after the Dominaria Prerelease.

Damn!
