[18:28] FaytEnslaved: this is why you build a deck, instead of taking the easy way out. then you would not have hand problems because you would know how to play it.

Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
Why would he play that in a deck with mostly non-permanents?
@OP, neat. Original idea at least, hows the fastest you have combo'd so far? Doesn't seem like it can get there at pre-5 already. Keep tuning it and cutting some of that fat, ATM still too much fat.
I would also definitely add both Sol Ring and Mana Crypt. No need not to add these in a storm deck.. Even without blue for mass draw.

Creeping Corrosion was in. When this was a Borbgyromos (sp) deck. But I realised I ramped so hard, I had no lands left to throw. So it got cut. Plus with, all the recursion, I don't need to use it.
I've been thinking about genesis wave. My best game, I won because someone milled a rather hefty portion of my deck. Genesis wave, copied, would let me put my permamnents on the field, and my non permanents in the graveyard. Ready to be past in flamed or recurred.
Sol ring(not more extra copies) and Cryt (way out of budget) are not in my version (mostly due to, as I said, not having any to put in). If I was to streamline the deck yeah, I'd cut some of the most epensive stuff (boundless realms and such) in favor of cheaper cards. Tutor would also significantly speed up the deck. Hm...
Hahaha! It's not hard to make people rage quit on cockatrice. I always flag the game as competitive, but you still get a lot of casual players getting upset when they lose. My ignore list got pretty long.
I guess I question some of your extra land drop cards like Summer Bloom. Are these ever dead for you? It could be more reliable to just use more vanilla ramp spells
So whose your commander?
Radha, Heir to Keld would provide some dependable early ramp, and essentially freeing up your 2 cmc ramp spell slots, like Rampant Growth, Farseek, and Summer Bloom for new cards. I think she'd be my first pick for a deck like this.
Wort, the Raidmother makes a bit less sense since you don't run that many mana dorks (you could though). She fits into your storm plan though if you don't mind building around her a bit more (adding more mana dorks and small utility creatures)
Borborygmos Enraged encourages a rather different kind of deck with more of land destruction and land control cards, which could work pretty well. You'd want to add things like Crucible of Worlds, Life from the Loam, Groundskeeper,Creeping Renaissance, or even stuff like Barrel Down Sokenzan and plenty of fetchlands. He makes for a good alternate win condition if you can't get your storm cards to go off. His first ability can basically be used to mill yourself giving you options for all your recursion cards. All in all, I think this could be the most competitive option but he doesn't really fit that well into your existing game plan.
And then there's always Sunastian Falconer heheheh. Makes the best #trollface commander.
Your removal section is looking pretty weak IMO. This is what I would run if it were me:
Love the deck idea, I could definitely see myself playing this as a Borborygmos Enraged deck for league. One question, how does Sprouting Vines help you copy spells?

If someone is playing Icy Manipulator against you, you've already won.

Check the thread linked for commander discussions. (I might ask a mod to merge the threads) The drop extra lands card have been dead... ish. I tend to ramp pretty hard before comboing off, my last two games having most of my deck's lands on the field. So stuff like Sprouting Vines and the Extra land drops haven't been great yet. But I want to have a few more "bad" games to try them out before cutting them.
Radha, Heir to Keld; // She's cool cause she lets me have access to 4 mana on turn 3, or (if I have an instant) 5 mana. She also is a cheap creature that I won't mind throwing to stuff like Primal Growth and since shes played early game, she's not annoying to cast when I need her. Lower power though. And conflicts with Rampant Growth or other 2 CMC ramp.
Rosheen Meanderer; // Gives decent ramp, 4 power is a good thing(see below, at Borboygmos), but I'm unsure on the number of X spell I'll run. I can't really cast her the turn I plan to use her.
Wort, the Raidmother; // The first thing people think of with RG Spellslinger, 3 power isn't great, I don't want to sac her, which is unfortunate, doesn't need haste to be effective, and makes cards like Empty the Warrens and Hunting Pack way better. Deck won't run a lot of creatures though. But even so, casting her for 6 to get more than that much mana by doubling an untap effect is sweet.
Borborygmos Enraged; // 7 Power makes Soul's Majesty, Momentous Fall, and Garruk, Primal Hunter into a Draw 7. Can throw lands for damage(with Creeping Renaissance, you'll win.) And doesn't need to be played at any time before you win.
Ruric Thar, the Unbowed; // Kill yourself in record time, but no one will see it coming. 7/10
I'm thinking to take Wort as the Commander. Borb, doesn't work as you end up with no lands in your deck if you just ramp like crazy. Wort makes Young Pyromancer and two of the storm spells really good, as well as getting extra use from some creatures in the deck.
EXTRA: But I'm thinking, with mass LD, and ways to mass recur lands (after you get tons of floating mana, ofc) you could use him as a win con. Creeping Renaissance all your lands back. Chuck them all, Regrowth the Creeping Renaissance. Chuck the lands. Flashback. So on... Both my wins were off the back of the two damage storm spells (Ignite Memories mostly)
As for the Removal Section. You are totally right. Usually, I focus more on the engine and less on the answers just to see if a deck can work before commiting fully. It did, so we'll have to revise the answers. Thank you for your suggestions.
Love the deck idea, I could definitely see myself playing this as a Borborygmos Enraged deck for league. One question, how does Sprouting Vines help you copy spells?
1 Borb was the original commander. I switched after the first game when I realized that I ramp so hard, I have very little lands to throw. (the see thread linked in the original post to see a bit of the pros and cons of each general). Sprouting Vines has been a dead spell for me every time saddly. I liked the idea with Borb, or just fetching like 6 lands to my hand to use as discard fodder, thin my deck or even just as a way to buff up my hand size before doing a "discard draw that many" wheel. As for how it helps copy spells. I think it just snuck there :/
EDIT: See the original thread too (linked in the OP) for other cards that were considered)
I have an extra coppy from when I did my jund punisher hug deck. I don't think It's a good include as I'm pretty sure I'll kill myself with it. You end up with lots of lands, and even more when you consider untap effects.
Yea looks pretty good when I first started playing competitive years ago my buddy undone had a wort deck similar to this and it killed turn 4-5 all day. He is a player I wish I still played with he was leagues better than me and I leaned more about magic playing with him weekly in a few months than I had in all
My years prior. He had his list posted here I dug it up for you it's dated for sure but hope if helps the guy used to kick my ass all night taught me how to play commander knew about hermit druid and AN combo when no one knew they existed and refused to play them because they were too good. Man I miss that play group ... http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/commander-edh/multiplayer-commander-decklists/216155-wort-the-raidmother-aggro-combo#c21

So I'll be making the deck tonight, and making adjustments with stuff and taking a closer look.
I;m posting the unfinished post, cause some guy on cockatrice accused me of netdecking.
