I might run more permanents than your typical Melek. This deck is a bit odd, but I managed to win once in my darkest hour by recurring Time Warp 8 times.
That was silly, silly enough for me to keep this deck around for awhile.
Comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
I've never done a spell slinging deck that wasn't Storm. So take my advice with a grain of salt.
But how about some storm(decks, not the mechanic) cards? Being able to untap all your lands (specially if you've got cost reducers, I'm a fan of Arcane Melee, and my deck has a stuff like Stone Calendar (Helm of Awakening too, but I don't let my opponents benefit from it. Not winning on the same turn you'd cast it is dangerous) and artifact copiers) once during a turn could double the explosiveness (and coolness of the deck)
I'm not sure how I feel about the Vows. Or fractured Powerstone. That being said. Non storm spellslinger confuses me. I don't think you have enough draw. But I don't think your plan is to draw your whole deck.
EDIT: 1: I posted my decklist so you can have a look and; 2 Why are you posting so many decks suddenly?
I could definitely benefit from a few storm cards, thanks, I'll take a look at your list.
I'm posting a bunch of decks because I finally got around to getting them up on Tapped Out, and I figured they would be nice additions to the Decklist Database on here.
I'm trying to space out my postings so I don't just spam 25 decks into this subforum.
What I found was the problem with tapped out, is that they separate your cards by type, not by function. People are less likely to provide feedback that way.
Why the Powerstone? Do you often play Planechase EDH? If not, Mind Stone is probably better. Heck, even the Red and Blue Diamonds are generally better, as Melek doesn't usually get going until he has some mana ready anyway. There's also a lack of Sensei's Divining Top in here, which is another card that works great with Melek.
Most importantly though, why not Proteus Staff? Tuck annoying generals or stack your deck any way you like. Seems alright to me.
