Too expensive; my curve caps out at 6. Marchesa doesn't play to the long game.

There's only one card over 6 that I play - Rune-Scarred Demon. And that's because he's just so brutal as a giant flying body and his ETB. And obviously completely insane off of Sneak Attack (although what isn't insane of sneak attack).
I am giving very serious consideration to this guy. He is better in some ways, at the very least he is as good. Also frankly I need more fatties. The graveyard hate is getting out of control, there's just way too much good hate. And now every deck has access to an on-demand Bojuka Bog in Scavenger Bog and a colorless Withered Wretch in Crook of Condemnation. Recycling any cheap creatures is just not a given anymore these days. Wizards has given all decks a lot of tools to really make graveyard abuse difficult with a number of their recent cards.

Dreamstealer
2B
Menace
Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a player, that player discards that many cards.
Eternalize
1/2
Not bad.
This made me do a search for creatures that have similar effects and would scale well with +1/+1 counters on them. Besides the Cephalid Constable that Tev already mentioned and that I am also still testing, there are a lot of creatures that are powerful but too expensive imho. The few interesting ones that are not that expensive are Needle Specter and Grenzo's Ruffians. The Specter is kinda the same as Dreamstealer. I think I will probably exchange my Lilianas Specter for Dreamstealer, because of the Wizards synergies and potential lategame option with Eternalize.
Grenzo's Ruffians is powerful, but not what the deck wants. Our deck is made to only attack a single player each combat to get the +1/+1-counters and also not damage and dethrone multiple player's at once.
Other interesting cards are Shocker and it's big brother Barbed Shocker, wich can disrupt your opponents or help them depending on their cards in hand and their draws. I like the effect of Barbed Shocker better, but not its mana cost.
What does everyone else think?
I actually like Grenzo's Ruffians. It's a way to hurt the rest of the table while you're not swinging at them. As entertaining as it is to see various people ping themselves or attack each other just to make sure that they're not the highest life total when it gets to my turn, this is an added clock. Sometimes there's a player that's really low but you don't have time to kill them off because you're fighting the other players. Then they end up messing up your plans. With the Ruffians, they could be killed off while you don't even focus them and if you go wide enough that +3/+3.
I like them, I'm just not sure I have room or want to make room. The 4 drops are more crowded in my build by virtue of having less of them and I don't want to cut a 3 drop to increase my average CMC.

I've cut battledriver but still keeping Olivia. Partly due to CMC but also because she has Evasion. She protects Marchesa and when you do need Haste she can give it. There have been times where people have tried to Wrath me out but couldn't because of Marchesa having +1/+1s.
Also, she's great with Glen Alendra Archmage to keep the Counters going. Plus with a Grim Haruspex you can filter through cards by saving guys, drawing and discarding the chaff to keep this up during each players turn. It gets sillier if you have some sort of value engine out like Aetherworks Marvel or Grimgrin, Corpse-Born.

Had a blast at the Prerelease in my local gamestore today, had a crazy good deck with The Scarab God among other things. I also opened an Invocation Counterspell. Went 3-1, wich was second place and the only games I lost where because of flood and screw respectively (and even those games where close).
But now the reason for wich I'm posting, I want your opionions. I also pulled a Dreamstealer today, wich already made the list, switched it in for Liliana's Specter. But I am also wondering what other stuff I should put in. I opened Bontu's last Reckoning and recently picked up a Fire Covenant and I think both are good playables. I put in Attrition recently but couldn't play it that often till now, but the one time I had it out it was good. But maybe I could try one of the other mentioned cards instead?
Other cards I want to try are Whip of Erebos and The Scarab God because I think both give me more options in the lategame. But I don't know what to cut, I don't really want to increase my mana curve. The most expensive cards in my deck are Decree of Erebos, Living Death, Voldaren Pariah, Sidisi, Undead Vizier, Puppeteer Clique, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Urabrask the Hidden, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Flayer of the Hatebound. And of those I only really consider Voldaren Pariah and Living Death as possible cuts, also Faerie Artisans, I couldn't play it very often till now but it hasn't really done much for me yet the times that I could get it out.
What are your experiences and opinions? And what are your cool prerelease stories?

Anyone else tried Arcbond as a boardwipe? So far I'm having really good results with the instant speed.
Haven't tried it yet, but it doesn't look bad. I have experienced others playing this card, it really is a solid board wipe, but I can imagine weired situations where it doesn't do what you would want it to do.
Never ever ever cut living death. Pariah is a good cut, all the others should stay.
Don't know if it was in this thread or one of the others, but people talked about how Living Death is often a dead card because we are ahead on the board and/or other players graveyards are stocked much better than our own. Although in most situations where you want to play it Living Death is really awesome. I also don't play Entomb (don't own one) or other ways to fill my grave. I am not sure, maybe I should just switch some cards around and try them out, I can always switch back later.
I can't imagine ever running this deck without living death, i'd run 4 copies if i could. It's a boardwipe, it reanimates us entirely most of the time, especially after a large swing. It goes infinite with dualcaster mage and an outlet, or one-eyed with some dudes with a phyrexian altar. This deck's number 2 card should be living death, right after marchesa. I don't think i've ever lost a game after a resolved living death, even if it was my opponent's.

I cut living death recently due to more and more gy hate being printed and showing up more often (thanks to Meren for ruining the fun). It was a dead draw a good 80% of the time for me. Meta call though.

When I have been behind on board the whole game I usually tutor Living Death to wrath the board
When I was ahead on board and am now behind I usually tutor Living Death to wipe them out and bring my board back simulataneously
When I am ahead on board and there isn't a card that says "you win the game right now if you play this" I usually tutor Living Death because I know the only way I don't win is if they wrath. With LD in hand I have no fear, a wrath just makes everything worse for them.
Basically LD is almost definitely my #1 tutor target. More then Sneak Attack, more than Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, more then any of the other horribly broken cards in this deck. I cannot imagine ever cutting it or what kind of meta exists where its constantly a dead draw. Even if there is a Rest in Peace out its still an amazing wrath since it forces everyone to sacrifice everything.
And as for other graveyards being worse then mine, that's extremely rare. And even when it happens the odds that I can't deal with whatever they put out or win faster after LD is even rarer. And in these rare circumstances where it helps someone else more then you, sometimes its still a good political maneuver since it likely sets back the current threatening player and makes someone new the threat.
It was a dead draw that often due to not keeping my own gy due to hate, meanwhile most opponents had their gy intact so it was lose/lose for me and typically helped my opponents more. Lots of Meren, Gitrog, and a few r/g Omnath decks around that increased grave hate to almost astronomical levels. Couple that with the new colorless rare land and I decided to stop Living Death (for now).
I've cut Living Death because I've found that it causes someone to combo out and depending on who cast it, that gives priority to other players resolving their silly stuff first. So its either a dead draw or has someone combo off and considering I only run two non-combat step combo (one of which is a 3 card combo), it's usually not me.
I still run Scrap Mastery, but that's because it is much much more one-sided than Living Death except in the most extreme of scenarios. I run extra creature removal to make up for the inability to wipe creatures but nuking manarocks is still pretty good. I rarely have to blow up my own stuff due to an abundance of artifact sacrifice outlets.
The biggest advantage for me with this particular variant however is the mana rebate from either KCI or getting rocks/artifact lands back.
