Strangely enough, I've not been able to combo off with this yet. I've always been stopped, and my wins were though token beats and commander damage.
For arguably being the least broken color in EDH, this deck does allow you to do some crazy things, usually through sac outlets. False Prophet enchanted with Gift of Immortality and Phyrexian Altar on the battlefield was amazing for me in a game last night ( my devotion was such that when the trigger went looking Heliod was below devotion, when the prophet came back, he was above, so I basically had a clean board to swing with Heliod on ). Martyr's Bond has been quite good for me as well with a sac outlet around, too, though it usually gets blown up pretty fast as it's quite apparent what it's there for.

Sounds good Nakhla, yeah the deck does some crazy things, the Sac outlets and Mana Doublers are very important. I always try to and often set up the Yosei/Gift/sac outlet lock with the deck. As far as the inf. combo's they will happen the more games you play, many people just don't expect a mono white deck to go infinite.
Most of my wins with the deck are through creature based damage, or through a Yosei Lock forced concession.
I'm seriously thinking of shoehorning Martyr's Bond into the list.
Good to see you using the O'stone as a recursive wipe, I tend to rely on the spells/enchantments/creatures for removal.
Good job keeping Heliod under devotion during the Prophet (AKA The Streetsweeper) sacs.
The idea of using Heliod's "bad" ability to ultimately exile my opponent's lands and relevant permanents almost makes me pull the trigger on buying the cards I'd need for this deck.

Yeah, in this deck the Cleric Enchantment Creature Tokens play many roles, as you already know. As far as constructing a Heliod deck,.. Go for it. It's really effective and "off the beaten path" enough to be very appealing/interesting to play (it does some pretty crazy stuff). You can tweak it here and there to suit your personal card preferances or to try some new things in it. Personnaly, it's my longest running deck to date.
I get you are trying to live the dream with Nim Deathmantle and stuff like False Prophet but it seems sub par without Stoneforge.
In my experience Deathmantle is one of those "looks great on paper and plays like meh" spells. It feels great when you get it, but meh.
And on Stoneforge, it's way good enough to run even if the only target in the whole deck is Skullclamp. Seriously. And add Brimaz cuz cats. And Hero of Bladehold cuz beats. I know you like to blow stuff up, but those will help you build an army quick.
Playing sac loops without an enchantment sac outlet to tutor up with Rector or Idyllic seems like a big design flaw to me.
Seeing as many of your combos are based on artifacts, ever look at Leonin Abunas?
Twilight Shepherd seems weird in a sorta-token deck too. I've seen her run alongside Oblivion Stone loops, but..
Cool deck though.

LoL!.....Nim Deathmantle is a fine recursion card (Along with Gift of Immortality) which Is often abused in conjunction with the Sac Outlets in the deck. It gets mileage out of the ETB/LTB creatures present in the deck and enables abusive/nefarious plays. What Nim Deathmantle requires is a fair amount of open mana and an available sac outlet to repeatedly abuse which is why I feel many people shun/downplay it. This deck is designed to generate fairly obscene amounts of mana, so abusing it has never been an issue. E.g.: Surgically striking an opponents land base with an Archon of Justice that's been sac'd and reccured 3-4 times a turn, or locking a table down with Yosei, the Morning Star, or abusing the hell out of Karmic Guide/Reveillark/Angel of Serenity. Those are just a few examples.
Stoneforge Mystic is undeniably one of the greatest white creatures of all time. But i've chosen not to include her because I only run 2 equips. I get a lot of Flak over this but Steelshaper's Gift has worked fine in this deck since day 1 (one white mana, short and sweet). If I ran more equipment I would include the Stoneforge.
Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Hero of Bladehold are fine/top notch creatures if you were to shift to a more vanilla token swarm based stategy. This isn't intended to be a Token Swarm deck, it's a Control Deck, 2 very different strategies/playstyles/Ideologies.
Leonin Abunas is a really good protection card for heavy equipment use decks, but I feel it doesn't fit the playstyle of this deck. There is enough recursion in the deck to recover anything that is destroyed without relying on blanket protection. This deck exclusively uses/abuses creatures that have instant return upon their ETB/LTB triggered abilities with the sole exception being Weathered Wayfarer.
Twilight Shepherd is a strong boardwipe recovery creature (among its other uses), which lets you keep grinding without losing steam. Some practical uses I've used her for were recurring Strip mine and its ilk, Buried Ruin, Seal of Cleansing, Aura of Silence, Angelic Renewal, creatures that have been sac'd/destroyed, basically anything that hit the graveyard that I want back in my hand to recast/use again... She herself makes a fine recursion target just to have on the field. With a sac outlet her recursive power can be used at Pseudo instant speed during an opponents turn. I've never been unhappy to see her.
I think Open the Vaults is so often going to be a blowout in this deck that I'd give it a go.
Yes Open the Vaults is a very powerful spell under the right circumstances. This may sound a little Draconian... but when playing this deck, I personally don't like to give my opponents access to anything that even would give them the slightest bit of advantage. It's the Spartan "give them nothing, but take from them everything" philosophy that this deck runs on...LoL!
I've been pondering Ajani's Chosen with Heliod. The two-for-one interaction is really nice, though much more fragile than some of the other things that trigger off the clerics.

Ajani's chosen does have really good synergy with Heliod. Doubling up on tokens is a good thing if you want to swarm out/create more fodder. If you have a spot in your list give it a try. Let me know how it goes if you do.
Mistveil Plains.. Honestly, I have run this card in multiple games with earlier incarnations of the Heliod deck, and sadly not once has it had any relevant effect for me, if anything at all.
In theory it looks great (recycling your cards back into the deck for later use) but I've personally found it to be woefully underwhelming. Other people may have had occasional success though.
The times I've ran it in Heliod, I used it with the prime intentions of recycling my instant's/sorcery's and saving relevant cards from impending graveyard hate. It just never worked out for me though...
In multicolor decks like Captain Sisay and decks that run lots of tutoring and draw, your chances of getting back what you recycled in greatly increase.
Yes.. if it triggered off enchantments entering play, it would be scary good.
I've focused my Heliod build heavily in enchantments to utilize Sigil. The only cards I have left that I might throw in are Kor Haven and Deserted Temple
Presently testing out 2 fine cards from Origins for the deck.
Helm of the Gods Almost tailor made for Heliod, the Helm can enable some serious damage, proportionate to the amount of Cleric tokens/other enchantments in play on your side. Really cheap to cast and equip. The Helm can turn any creature into a threat. This card is somewhat reminiscent of Cranial Plating albeit without the instant equip option.
Sword of the AnimistTruly excellent piece of kit here. The Sword provides more ramp for the deck which is a very welcome addition to Heliod. Once again very cheap to cast and equip. Put it on a Cleric token and swing for a basic land into play tapped each turn. It's effect is subtle, but the longer the sword remains in play, it will put you ahead that much more.
On a side note Starfield of Nyx is a great card and would be an instant autoinclude in this deck were it not for the unfortunate side effect of killing off all of Heliod's Cleric Enchantment Creature tokens (Cmc 0). They would survive if anthemed up but that's not always the case during the course of a game.
.....Unfortunately Helm of the Gods didn't make the cut for this deck. Tried it a few games and it just didn't work out.
Do you have a current list by chance? I would be interested in seeing the changes. I am slowly trying to put togeter this list because it is interesting. It is just expensive since I am so knew for things like crucible?
Anything thinkg you would recommend for a budget build until you get the bigger pieces?

Thanks for expressing interest here.
As far as the list, I always wind up going back to it's original form, as it's highly tuned. I do try new cards every now and then.
Don't fret to much about acquiring a Crucible of Worlds unless you play a lot of 1 vs. 1 games, which is where it's really effective.
Below I have listed a few suitable inexpensive budget replacements for all the cards in the deck that are over 8$. Using these cards you'll still be able to have a good solid game, it will just be a bit slower, and won't be able to apply as much pressure as the original, but it will still be capable of some crazy plays and glorious victories.
P.S. I would highly recommend you get your hands on a Extraplanar Lens, Gauntlet of Power, and a Serra's Sanctum over everything else first, when you have the cash/trade... In addition to Caged Sun and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx these are the 5 cards that really kick Heliod's mana into overdrive and enable the "Fun" stuff to happen a whole lot faster. Good Luck!

If you can afford it, go pick up the Nahiri commander precon, it has many of the cards in it for this deck, and some others you may like as well.
Feel free to ask any other questions or for advice.
Emeria Shepherd is ABSOLUTELY BROKEN. The other night I witnessed this card in my friends deck do disgusting things like recurring Karn Liberated directly into play over and over, to simple things like recurring Burnished Hart getting 2 plains into play recurring two nonland permanents directly to play..... not to mention triggering off of Sword of the Animist... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. It is taking the place of Twilight Shepherd in the deck A.S.A.P. She is in my opinion one of the finest recursion engines in the game and the best thing to happen to Mono-White EDH in a long time, highly abusive.:)
Some of us had a discussion about the card and concluded that were it not for her casting cost of 7 this card could possibly get banned.
5WW isn't even that bad. You get Sun Titan for 4WW and Emeria Shepherd beats his pants off in you're running Mono-W. No brainer include. They curve into each other to make it more appealing.
I've been playing this deck ( used yours as a template, with about fifteen cards different ) and it's been a lot of fun.
Oblivion Stone has been amazing for me. Easily to blow it up and bring it back with Argivian Find/Buried Ruin/Treasure Hunter/Sun Titan and so forth.
Strangely enough, I've not been able to combo off with this yet. I've always been stopped, and my wins were though token beats and commander damage.

The "Enchantment form" creature Sac outlets (the 2 that exist Martyr's Cause/Fanatical Devotion have o.k. effects that synergize well with the deck) and can easily be ran in lieu of the Artifact based sac outlets, but they pale in comparison to the power level of Phyrexian Altar/Ashnod's Altar/Altar of Dementia and Blasting Station. Academy Rector and Idyllic Tutor are for bigger things, such as Skybind, Marshal's Anthem and the soon to be included Martyr's Bond. Often they are just simply used for tutoring something that's needed right away depending on boardstate to grant me some advantage.
Leonin Abunas is a really good protection card for heavy equipment use decks, but I feel it doesn't fit the playstyle of this deck. Put it on a Cleric token and swing for a basic land into play tapped each turn. It's effect is subtle, but the longer the sword remains in play, it will put you ahead that much more.
The inclusion of these 2 equipments along with the already present Skullclamp and Nim Deathmantle will soon warrant the inclusion of Stoneforge Mystic in the deck.

Land Tax >>> Gift of Estates/Tithe/Endless Horizons
Path to Exile >>> Crib Swap
Enlightened Tutor >>> Planar Portal/Ring of Three Wishes/Citanul Flute (Gets Yosei, the Morning Star) even has his likeness upon it.

Extraplanar Lens >>> Thran Dynamo/Dreamstone Hedron
Gauntlet of Power >>> Gilded Lotus
Phyrexian Altar >>> Blasting Station/Martyr's Cause/Fanatical Devotion/Carnage Altar/Despotic Scepter/Claws of Gix (the Claws are really good in this deck).
Crucible of Worlds >>> Smokestack/Cauldron of Souls/Codex Shredder/Sword of the Animist: (The Sword is really good in this deck, been playtesting the hell out of this thing since it came out).Got it up to 10 triggers the other night during a game.
Wasteland >>> Encroaching Wastes
Dust Bowl >>> Myriad Landscape
Miren, the Moaning Well >>> Mistveil Plains
Kor Haven >>> Mystifying Maze
Serra's Sanctum >>> Temple of the False God Sadly the Sanctum is virtually irreplaceable.

Also, have you tried Archangel of Tithes?
Bruse Tarl & Kraum, Ludevic's Opus
Mayael the Anima
