This deck used to be originally commanded by Edric, Spymaster of Trest, using Edric's draw ability as a way to Dredge, but once Sidisi, Brood Tyrant was released, she took over. The deck isn't based completely around her, she is just another way to take advantage of all the dredging. Game plan is to keep milling yourself and using your graveyard as an extension of your hand in the process.
Notes: M15 Update! Going to try out Satyr Wayfinder and see how it performs, being a Mulch type card on legs that can trigger Edric might be alright. Am also going to try out Alchemist's Refuge here. The only other consideration from the set was Reclamation Sage.
Notes: KTK Update! Dredgric was super fun to play, but after Sidisi, Brood Tyrant was spoiled, I knew I wanted to play her. The deck isn't based around her, she's just another way to gain advantage from all the dredging going on. Also get to play with new fun toys such as Spider Spawning & Worm Harvest now. There are a ton of other cards that were considered for this update, now they're in my Maybeboard/Other Considerations sections, feel free to have a look and suggest any changes!
The reason to post the thread is to keep a note of what is in the deck as well as the changes I make in the future, which I will whenever a new set comes out, and also to get feedback from anyone who's still playing the deck (like you!), as they might have changed a few cards, found something else, you know? =P Not taking any credit away from Gaka himself.
Nothing too exciting from CNS, unfortunately, both new and old. Was initially planning on replacing Burgeoning with Exploration when I got the chance, like I did in my other Edric deck, but I actually like Burgeoning better in here I think, with all the Strip Mine-like lands. Also considered Wood Sage and Compulsive Research.
Notes: M15 Update! Going to try out Satyr Wayfinder and see how it performs, being a Mulch type card on legs that can trigger Edric might be alright. Am also going to try out Alchemist's Refuge here. The only other consideration from the set was Reclamation Sage.
Total side note but I like how people are discussing running this over itself.
Well, it has to be said that Kolaghan is clearly better than Kolaghan. Considering what BR decks usually want and how stiff the competition in this guild is, there is no way that I would run Kolaghan over Kolaghan! Kolaghan might make it in as the sixth guild card or so. Kolaghan on the other hand ranks several places below that.
It was so funny to me when they described this as a downgrade to the original Zurgo during the Pax East panel. I was thinking if this is a downgrade, they should really "downgrade" all legendary creatures. Haha.
My deck designing is quite concise at this point:
1. Come up with deck idea
2. Realize this idea is somehow fundamentally similar to another deck I have or that is commonly played in my group
3. Decide I don't want to disassemble one of my existing decks
4. Give up and do nothing
I don't see the point of this new shroud mechanic. It's strictly worse than Hexproof. Threshold is pretty bad too, Delirium is a much better mechanic and probably easier to activate.
Otherwise this card is a pretty neat guy. Dodges removal and grows into a Primal Huntbeast. 3/5
I do like Quiet Speculation - it gives you access to a few different things, Acorn Harvest to make bodies for Edric, Deep Analysis to draw/trigger dredge, Tracker's Instincts to fill your yard up even more, and also Memory's Journey which makes me feel much safer while playing the deck. If someone is going to exile my graveyard, I do want to try and save the few key cards such as Laboratory Maniac and it allows me to do so. After casting QS, you immediately have 4 additional cards in your graveyard and that often helps get Threshold up and running early too, for things like Far Wanderings and what not. So far I haven't been disappointed by it and want to keep testing it out.
Fair enough. One of my friends suggested Words of Wilding. I initially didn't pay attention because you generally don't want to skip draws for that, but it seems like it could be decent. What do you think?

It might be okay in certain situations, but most of the time you wouldn't really want to skip your draw. I think I would prefer to run Bearscape over it.

Maybeboard
+1 Demonic Collusion: A repeatable tutor that lets you discard cards, it might cost too much though.
+1 Demonic Tutor: One of the best cards in the format, I think Vampiric Tutor is probably better cause it can also be an Entomb at times, and Increasing Ambition can be flashed back from the grave (although at a very high cost).
+1 Evolutionary Leap: Sac outlet that replaces the creature and thins deck.
+1 Fact or Fiction: Another great card, does so much in this deck.
+1 Grisly Salvage: Cards like this kinda exist for this deck.
+1 Mortivore: Regenerate makes this attractive, but I may have enough of these effects in the deck already.
+1 Nostalgic Dreams: Although can screw you if countered, is a discard outlet and a mass Regrowth in one.
+1 Opulent Palace: Enters tapped but taps for all my colours, should probably include it.
+1 Oracle of Mul Daya: Provides so much card advantage, gets better with Crucible of Worlds.
+1 Oversold Cemetery: Another great recursion card.
+1 Reclamation Sage: I think I need to run more artifact/enchantment removal.
+1 Regrowth: Great in this deck, but I already run Eternal Witness, Nyx Weaver, Genesis, Phyrexian Reclamation, etc.
+1 Riftsweeper: Sometimes you just need to get something back after a Bojuka Bog.
+1 Sewer Nemesis: Another one of these guys, but he mills you in the process.
+1 Skullclamp: Conflicts with Null Rod, but can be great with Bloodghast/Reassembling Skeleton/Golgari Thug/Drowned Rusalka/Worm Harvest and just about any other creature.
+1 Spitting Image: Can be a great win condition at times.
+1 Sultai Ascendancy: Although it doesn't trigger a draw for Dredge, it Think Tanks you twice and can be pseudo-library manipulation. It's kinda made for this deck...
+1 Tortured Existence: Another great recursion card that probably deserves a spot.
+1 Waterfront Bouncer: Discard outlet that deals with creatures, probably deserves a spot.
+1 Witchbane Orb: More anti-graveyard hate.
Other Considerations
Abrupt Decay: Great removal card is great.
Alchemist's Refuge: Being able to do everything at instant speed is kinda awesome.
Altar of Dementia: Conflicts with Null Rod but can be great at times.
Arbor Elf: I don't think I run enough Forests.
Army of the Damned: I think I have access to better win conditions.
Ashnod's Altar: Great sac outlet.
Avatar of Woe: Will cost BB almost always in this deck.
Avenging Druid: Mills you and ramps you.
Basalt Monolith: Goes infinite with Mesmeric Orb letting you mill your entire library, get Zombies with Sidisi in play and Dread Return for the win. Might deserve a spot.
Beast Within: Deals with any permanent, best green removal spell.
Birthing Pod: Probably too "build around me", but good card is good.
Bitter Revelation: If I'm not running Fact or Fiction...
Bloodsoaked Champion: Another Bloodghast/Reassembling Skeleton effect if you ever need one.
Bloom Tender: Can tap for BUG at times, but probably not worth a spot in here. I could be wrong.
Body Double: A reanimate spell you can Survival of the Fittest for.
Bojuka Bog: I don't really want anyone copying mine...
Bone Shredder: Can be repeated removal with a Genesis effect, might deserve a spot.
Bonehoard: Other effects like this are better.
Brainstorm: Great draw spell that triggers Dredge and lets you put cards from your hand into your graveyard. Might deserve a spot.
Burgeoning: If I need another Exploration effect...
Careful Study: A bad Faithless Looting if I need one.
Chromatic Lantern: Good fixing is good.
Codex Shredder: Although it conflicts with Null Rod, it mills you a card every turn, and can be a Regrowth effect too.
Commune with the Gods: Not sure if the deck needs Mulch effects.
Consecrated Sphinx: Another great reanimator target if I need one.
Corpse Connoisseur: An expensive creature-only Entomb, but can be cast from the grave, tutored for easier, and recurred.
Cranial Archive: Both graveyard hate and protection.
Crypt of Agadeem: Could be good in here, but I don't really do much with a lot of mana.
Cyclonic Rift: Commander staple, not sure if this deck needs it.
Damia, Sage of Stone: Can be a good alternative to Sidisi.
Dance of the Dead: Another Animate Dead/Necromancy effect if you need it.
Dark Confidant: Although it doesn't trigger Dredge, the average CMC of the deck is low enough to support it.
Darkblast: Unfortunately doesn't kill much in EDH.
Dead Drop: Probably too expensive.
Deadbridge Chant: Mills you 10, then provides card advantage, seems alright in here, but not great.
Death Cloud: Affects us less than it does other people.
Deep Reconnaissance: If you want flashback-able ramp.
Dematerialize: Flashback cost of 7 is probably too much, but sometimes you need an effect like this to deal with problem permanents.
Deranged Assistant: A mana dork that mills you.
Dig Through Time: Probably the best Delve card, not sure if it's great in this deck though.
Dimir House Guard: Repeatable tutor, plus sac outlet.
Dreamborn Muse: Another way to mill yourself.
Dust Bowl: Might be worth a spot.
Edric, Spymaster of Trest: Used to be the Commander, now he's not even in the deck? Still good with several effects, just not having access to him consistently makes him not as good.
Elixir of Immortality: Graveyard protection if you need it.
Elves of Deep Shadow: If you need more mana elfs.
Elvish Mystic: If you need more mana elfs.
Evolving Wilds: I run a limited amount of basics, and fetches probably have it covered.
Exhume: Another cheap reanimate spell if you need one.
Expedition Map: Searches up Bazaar mainly, but can also get Volrath's Stronghold, Svogthos, the Restless Tomb, etc.
Explore: Triggers dredge and lets you ramp up.
Extractor Demon: Can be good with sac outlets, but probably costs too much.
Far Wanderings: I limit the amount of basics I run due to Hermit Druid, otherwise this card is amazing.
Fatestitcher: An extra activation of Bazaar, among other things.
Flash of Insight: A super Impulse.
Fleshbag Marauder: Can be recurred easily, great removal.
Frantic Search: Not card advantage, but can be alright.
Fyndhorn Elves: Another mana dork if you need one.
Garruk Wildspeaker: Ramps you, makes tokens, and the -4 can win the game with a bunch of Wurms or Spiders or Zombies.
Ghost Quarter: A less impressive Strip Mine if you need it.
Gnaw to the Bone: Buys you some extra time.
Golgari Brownscale: I don't think I need to run every card with Dredge possible, but if I need another one, I know where to look.
Graveborn Muse: Can be good if you have a bunch of Zombies in play from Sidisi.
Gravecrawler: Bloodghast/Reassembling Skeleton effect if you ever need one. Can only recur it if you make a Zombie off Sidisi though.
Grave-Shell Scarab: Dredges itself for a high cost, don't think its worth it.
Greater Mossdog: I don't think I need to run every card with Dredge possible, but if I need another one, I know where to look.
Havengul Lich: A very cool card, can be great at times.
Ill-Gotten Gains: Can be ok recursion at times.
Jace, the Mind Sculptor: Does a lot of stuff, not sure if this deck needs him though.
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord: Another one of these guys, but Jarad is different cause he can be recurred, and can sac other */*s to win the game.
Jarad's Orders: Demonic Tutor + Entomb in one, but, just for creatures.
Kederekt Leviathan: A wrath you can cast from your yard.
Krosan Reclamation: A second Memory's Journey if you need one.
Kruphix's Insight: Not sure if this deck needs Mulch type cards.
Liliana of the Veil: I don't mind discarding, other people do, can be removal, and can also really hurt someone.
Llanowar Elves: Another mana elf if you need it.
Logic Knot: I don't even run Counterspell, so...
Lord of Extinction: Not sure if I need another one of these effects, but is a powerful card. No evasion or protection, but it counts everyones graveyard.
Maelstrom Pulse: Great removal is great.
Marang River Prowler: Another Bloodghast/Reassembling Skeleton type card.
Mindslicer: I don't really mind discarding my hand...
Mirror-Mad Phantasm: Can mill big chunks of the library.
Moment's Peace: Can help buy you some time.
Monastery Siege: Triggers dredge, is a discard outlet, and at times can be used to protect your board.
Moonlight Bargain: The black Fact or Fiction.
Morgue Theft: I have better recursion options available to me.
Mortal Combat: A very cool card, but not as easily recurred as other win conditions.
Mulch: Not sure if needed.
Mulldrifter: Great when recurred with something like Genesis.
Murderous Cut: Often will cost just B.
Murmurs from Beyond: A mini Fact or Fiction.
Mystical Tutor: Can find you what you want when you need it.
Narcomoeba: Helps when trying to Dread Return something.
Necrogenesis: Graveyard hate that gives you tokens.
Necroplasm: Can remove some stuff, and Dredge.
Necropolis Fiend: Not too great.
Necropotence: Man, if only it didn't have that "Whenever you discard a card.." clause.
Necrotic Ooze: Can do some broken things.
Nether Traitor: Another recurring creature.
Nezumi Graverobber: GY hate that turns into a win con.
Nighthowler: Can be Bestowed onto Sidisi for Commander-kills, or any other creature with evasion, but other effects like this one are probably better.
Nightmare Void: An overcosted but repeatable Thoughtseize.
Oona's Grace: Can be great at times.
Pedantic Learning: Could be alright.
Pharika, God of Affliction: Necrogenesis is probably better, but deathtouch can be useful.
Prophet of Kruphix: Great card is great, just not sure if this deck needs it.
Quiet Speculation: Can lead a very useful package.
Realms Uncharted: An Intuition for lands..!
Recollect: If you need another Regrowth effect.
Rune-Scarred Demon: Another great reanimator target.
Scavenging Ooze: GY hate that can beat down.
Scout the Borders: Not sure if I need it.
See the Unwritten: Will almost never trigger Ferocious, and its a bit overcosted for this deck.
Sensei's Divining Top: Stuff doesn't stay on top for too long in this deck.
Sever the Bloodline: Removal from the yard.
Shambling Shell: Another Dredger if you need it.
Sheoldred, Whispering One: A great reanimator target.
Shriekmaw: Excellent when recurred. Might be worth trying out.
Silverglade Pathfinder: Don't run enough basics anymore.
Sol Ring: Commander staple, conflicts with Null Rod.
Soul of Innistrad: Alright recursion.
Sphinx of Lost Truths: The Dredge-Sphinx.
Stitch Together: Another reanimation spell if you need it.
Summoner's Pact: Can help find what you need in a pinch.
Terastodon: A good reanimation target.
Terramorphic Expanse: See Evolving Wilds.
Thespian's Stage: Can copy Bazaar of Baghdad.
Tilling Treefolk: Sometimes you just need lands.
Treasure Cruise: I like Visions of Beyond much more.
Treasured Find: Another Regrowth if you need it.
Trygon Predator: Deck needs more artifact/enchantment removal.
Twilight's Call: Another Living Death if you need it.
Unearth: Can get a lot back.
Urborg Elf: Another elf if you need it.
Victimize: Another cheap reanimation spell.
Voidslime: Counters anything, including things like Nihil Spellbomb.
Voyaging Satyr: Untaps Bazaar...
Windfall: Jace's Archivist is probably better in here.
Woodfall Primus: Another great reanimator target.
Worldly Tutor: It does what it does...
Yavimaya Elder: I don't run enough basics for him.
Zombie Infestation: Can be good at times, like with Life from the Loam for example.

Conclusion
As the description in the opening post states, the differences are mainly budget cuts, personal preferences, and additions from newer sets.
These are the cards that Gaka runs that I don't: Fatesticher, Lotus Cobra, Wickerbough Elder, Exploration, Natural Order, Scapeshift, Gaea's Cradle, Minamo, School at Water's Edge, Tropical Island, & the 7 fetches.
The cards I run in their places: Elvish Mystic, Kiora's Follower, Fact or Fiction, Harrow, Quiet Speculation, Witchbane Orb, Burgeoning, Bant Panorama, City of Brass, Evolving Wilds, Gemstone Caverns, Ghost Quarter, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Tectonic Edge, Temple of Mystery, Terramorphic Expanse, & Thespian's Stage.
Welcome to the forum!
The idea is still Gaka's, but I'm happy to pass it along

Notes: M15 Update! Going to try out Satyr Wayfinder and see how it performs, being a Mulch type card on legs that can trigger Edric might be alright. Am also going to try out Alchemist's Refuge here. The only other consideration from the set was Reclamation Sage.
Favorite part of this deck is Krosan Restorer + Threshold + Maze of Ith + Bazaar of Baghdad to draw and discard your entire library during combat.
Is Quiet Speculation really good enough to run though?
It might be okay in certain situations, but most of the time you wouldn't really want to skip your draw. I think I would prefer to run Bearscape over it.

Awesome, keep me updated with how you go.
I think Blighted Cataract might make the cut? Maybe Vampiric Rites too? Nothing else from the set seems amazing but I'm considering Oblivion Sower (if only it said player and not opponent), Brilliant Spectrum, Ugin's Insight, Ob Nixilis Reignited, Painful Truths, Kiora, Master of the Depths, Sire of Stagnation, Blighted Woodland, & Lumbering Falls.
Feel free to let me know your thoughts too.
