I've been brainstorming ways to make sure Brago successfully deals damage to an opponent, and one would be flashing him out at the end of turn. Does Teferi allow you to cast your commander as if it had flash?
I believe so. Teferi's text is 'Creature cards you own that aren't on the battlefield have flash.' Your commander resides outside battlefield hence it should be no problem. (At least I used to do it.) Teferi may help with the first time but it should yield no result afterward though. Obviously, Teferi is strong creature in his own right so I may include him but not for combat trick reason.
i´d suggest adding something to make use of all the cip/ltb triggers even if brago gets handled or tucked. i play crystal shard and conjurers closet for this case and both are really usefull in this deck. closet + any of your creatures is something opponents have to answer right away.
My problem with Crystal Shard is that I don't have enough creature I would like to recast rather than blink. Closet on the other hand is quite promising. I used to use it a lot. I may include it if there is no promising card from M15.

A little Detention Sphere? bye bye tokens and some other cards for some time... and it's better an enchantment removal on Detention Sphere than on the other's enchantment in the list.
Traveler's Cloak what's about this evasion? and it let you draw cards, especially with the strionic-brago combo. For the same reason i use in my Brago also Unquestioned Authority and Pentarch Ward Protective Bubble is another nice enchantment to get evasion&protection for Brago. And with the same effect an equipment: Whispersilk Cloak
And with so many enchantments Skybind would be a must: you're not forced to blink it out, you leave it onto the battlefield and the other blinking enchantments will trigger its ability. More mana with artifacts, or steal creature with Gilded Drake and so on..
Triskelion? With blink effect it could do many damages -and Reveillark can reanimate him-
Last: i really love Ghostly Flicker, it could save your creatures/enchantments/artifacts and blinking them the etb will re-trigger. It's also nice with Archaeomancer and Mnemnonic Wall: two triggers are better than one.
Tomorrow i will build my own Brago and test some cards
I've never heard of Traveler's Cloak and Pentarch Ward before. Brilliant! Protective Bubble may cost too much though especially since it does not draw any card. A nice option if my local use more spot removal though.
I would test Skybind soon.
The untap lands cycle is good. I hope this does not make me sound obsess over Swords of X and Y cycle but Peregrine Drake is perfect. You cast it, cast sword, equip then attack and blink. Have lands for instant control. Ace. Nevertheless, there is s slight issue of what to cut out?
I think Triskelion is a good choice if I want infinite combo route but without combo it seems to be underperform for six mana.
Last but not least, I can't believe I left out Ghostly Flicker when it is one of the few next level blink!
Brainstorm is good early play but is medicore at later stage while Cloak and Ward allows us to dig, gain protection and give more fire power at the same time. This is also true for Thass. She is solid for sneak attack but Cloak and Ward are probably better overall. Since we gain more sneak attack power, I worry less about opponent's wall of big creature so I believe we can afford to cut Treachery. As for Curio, well, I believe Skybind may do a better job since I do not use something that I want to recast and we should have sufficient amount of enchantment to regularly trigger it.
I definitely disagree with this change. I think play testing will prove it, so I'll leave it at that for now until you have a chance to see it in action.
First game with my Brago deck tonight, I kinda got stuck in durdle mode, nothing I was doing was winning the game quickly, but I was swinging for 11 or so a turn, so eventually I would have won, but the R player lit up an Obliterate, and I answered with a Ghostway, and it was over, mass scoopage.
I think I need a faster wincon, swinging with 2/4's and 2/2's is slow.

Its in there, but I never got deep enough for it or a tutor, though it was my first time playing the deck, I honestly was not aware of it being in the deck at that time, since I was concentrating on turbo-durdle, I was mostly blinking Mnemonic Wall to keep Exiling elfs since I was against elf tribal. I have been working out a kind of stasis deck with Brago. I have been using cards like stasis, winter orb, rising waters, etc to lock opponents mana down. Even going so far as to use kismet and frost titan to keep as many players at 0 mana as possible. I found that where the rocks are powerful, cards like Palinchron give the deck a huge edge. In fact the deck uses bounce and other removal to keep the board where I want it. Eventually beating down opponents with Brago. Overall I think the 'untap' permanents from the urza block are amazing for getting an untap step where you would otherwise get none.
One last edit - Pithing Needle becomes tons o' fun with Brago!

For Winter Orb, Rising Waters, and etc, Derevi is a better general as he allows you to untap lands.

You make a good point. I would point out that despite Derevi being better it still adds some extra steam to the deck to have the option to add extra mana with the untap trigger permanents even without the use of stasis.

I have come to agree with you. Skybind is a little bit too expensive for redundancy. I decide to try the new blue legendary instead (I shall omit her name for now in case some don't see her yet. Suffice to say, she allows us to dig deep in our arsenal.

As for finisher, I use time magic myself since this is practically a Planeswalkers deck too so even one time magic can push our advantage.
My problem with True Conviction is that it costs a lot. If you drop it early, your opponent can simply blow it up before your attack. For time magic, they can only counter it. Nonetheless, if I need more fire power or Brago is not blue, I would definitely play it.

Palinchron is an interesting option, especially with a Stax build. Static Orb and Winter Orb are especially interesting since we can exploit Brago with them. Assuming I want to include these three for the test run, which cards would you recommend me to take out?
Pithing Needle is also an interesting option. It can stop so many thing and easy to tutor for. But I think it is largely a meta choice.

I'm sorry this post is so long, I didn't have time to make it shorter.
In my build i go for a more artifact heavy theme because of the love i have for the wellsprings and tumble magnet, but also because of fearie machinist, trinket and treasure mage. Because i do create tokens with the cloudgoat ranger, myr battlesphere and the geist honored monk, i have to include skullclamp (tutored with the t'mage).
Cards you haven´t considered
meadowboon
contagion clasp
contagion engine
exclusion ritual
pilgrim´s eye
I know it doesn´t fit the theme but when the deck is built around a white general I autoinclude mother of runes.
I also pushed a little the double strike effects but then i found myself with a lot of wasted mana in between 1st and second damage so tried with excellent results stroke of genius, fact or fiction and opportunity.
Lastly, the spine is one of the most exciting combos. Cast it, bounce it with braggy (twice if double striker), one more time if venser is out, sacrifice it with phirexia´s core, and start again next turn. Lovely.

With meadowboon/clasp/engine, the problem with throwing counters out on every permanent you can find is, all my permanents are there to blink, when you blink, it resets the counters, thus its not very productive.

Exclusion Ritual, though. Will need to test that. At 6 mana for repeatable nonland removal, it'll do much of the work that Karn Liberated and Spine of Ish Sah will do since you do intend to blink them all anyway. You get to exile 2 things with Karn, though, and a host of other reasons why it's not necessarily a better pick, but I'll definitely put it in the list.

I completely agree that those artifacts are not suitable for the deck. As for Ritual, I would say no since it cost so much. If I need more spot removal though, I would definitely include it since it exile and you can use it to hose certain commander.
Throw in a Sower of Temptation and eat your opponents creatures for life and ramp.
++
I like the idea of Sower. I already have the other stuff. I added Elesh Norn to help with tokens and small creatures.
Treachery is not half bad with Brago. It is also more difficult to remove and you gain mana advantage with it. Exclusion Ritual which pacoemil mentioned earlier is also promising if you run sufficient mana rocks.
It occurs to me that you can blink Tsabo's Web for value.
I'm not familiar with this one! Which land would it be of use though? Crafting this deck has one painful obstacle, namely, too many chioces.
It's definitely a meta choice. If your opponents rely on the lands that Tsabo's Web locks down more than you do, it's a good choice. I just thought of it when I remembered that all of the other Innistrad block special lands are so great for EDH except for Moorland Haunt.
1. I see people post lists for either 1v1 or multiplayer. What if I just want an all-purpose deck? When I go and hang out at my local game shop, sometimes we'll get 3-4 people together, other times it's just 1. I'm looking for a deck I can keep in my box, and whip out when I want to play some EDH. Is that possible?
2. I won a FTV:20 at a PTQ a few weeks ago, so I decided to play UW. I built the following Brago deck:
I pieced it together from a few posts here. I'm having an issue with the deck: I feel like I'm not actually *doing* anything. I just durdle around playing a card a turn, if I'm lucky. I find myself with 3-4 mana artifacts out, and then maybe a single creature. My opponents do these crazy turns where they draw a bunch of cards, play a bunch of stuff, combo out. Then I untap, maybe play a creature, and then just pass. I feel useless. While I see potential for crazy-cool stuff, it rarely comes to fruition, because my opponents deal with my spells before I'm able to take advantage of them.
Because of that, I'm not sure the best way to proceed. Is it my deck? I never saw a lot of options to improve the way I handled things. This isn't coming from a casual or new player's mindset. I'm a competitive PTQ and GP grinder, so when I say I felt completely out of the water, I hope you'll take it more seriously than "play better." I ran out of cards and threats much more quickly than my opponents. Should I play more counterspells? Too many mana artifacts?
With that being said, I've seen a lot of popularity for Derevi, and thought about trying to swap over to him. Any thoughts on that? Would it be too much of a drastic change, or is it something feasible? Is it something you'd recommend, to improve my competitiveness?
I've got $50-$100 I could put into the deck, and even more if you think trading away the Jace TMS would net me a huge gain.
Thanks!

Thanks!
