Cards that I am play testing.
More than likely will end up in the final build.
_______________________________________________________________
Liliana's Caress - Better Megrim. Very likely to be a permanent addition. Wheel of Fortune - FINALLY! Got THE wheel. Definitely will become a permanent addition to the build. Dragon Mage - Playtesting. A 5/5 beater that wheels every turn he hits. Hard to argue against, but may not be cost effective. Reforge the Soul - Miracle wheel. Very likely will become a permanent main deck add in. Hive Mind - EVERYONE WHEELS! Might become a card that sits in a sideboard that i only play every once in a while, but seems fun at least once. Minds Aglow - Will replace prosperity. Simply a better effect in a deck not leveraging copy effects. Chandra Ablaze - Wheel of planeswalker. Also adds some strange versatility. Likely to stay. Master of the Feast - Playtesting. a 5/5 cheap beater that forwards the card drawing doom. Dislike that he doesnt help me draw though; but early blockers are a weakness. Vedalken Orrery - A long time edh want. Definitely going to stay. Leyline of Anticipation - A long time edh want. Definitely going to stay. Gratuitous Violence - Suck it Urza's Armor! A red permanent that enables kederekt parasite as well as gets around damage reduction effects. Testing, but will probably find a permanent slot.
Cards that I am considering
for dropping out of the deck.

Guard Gomazoa - Underwhelming blocker, only included to protect early game in my meta Kederekt Leviathan - From the grave board wipe; only really useful as such Fog Bank - Underwhelming blocker, only included to protect early game in my meta Myojin of Night's Reach - Great ability, on an 8 drop. I'd rather be wheeling Temple Bell - Small effect for edh play Prismatic Lens - Just a bad mana rock for this deck Swiftfoot Boots - Not a bad card, but most people dont play targeted removal that im worried about. Sun Droplet - Mediocre life gain, probably will replace with Basilisk Collar Sudden Spoiling - soft 'board wipe,' not a long term solution Prosperity - Strictly worse minds aglow Skyscribing - Strictly worse Prosperity; forecast not worth it. Rite of Replication - great effect, not really on point with the deck's strategy Toil // Trouble - great for cleaning up 1v1; but once game reaches 1v1, if i've survived, this card is unnecessary
Cards that are not in my build
but look amazing for Nekusar...

Notion Thief - Own a playset, might be too strong for my circles Wound Reflection - Looks strong, a bit pricey, will have to pick one up to playtest it. Prefer Gratuitous Violence effects to get around Urza's Armor effects Mind Over Matter - I dont run infinte combos currently, but this is a game winner with temple bell Words of Waste - Damn this pairs nicely with Geth's Grimoire and wheel effects, definitely something to playtest after i pick up Liliana's Caress Archmage Ascension - Wheel of tutor...sickenly strong looking interaction once its all stacked up, assuming it stays on the board Mikokoro, Center of the Sea - Sort of expensive effect; yes the land is hard to remove, and its a global draw, which i like, but its also 3 mana im losing a turn that could be better spent on wheeling
I like playing him as a general in stax. He's got super good colors and an okay ability. Back to Basics The Abyss Spell Shock Tanglewire
are things I would consider in here.
Your deck does look good though.
You could have some better creatures I think though. Braids Cabal Minion

Yeah, Still under construction. I have a playset of Notion Thief, considering one because of the full title game wrecking resolving one + a wheel would have.
I have a less than cut throat playgroup, and currently my main issue is surviving the early game, hence the damage proof blockers. I still need to actually get a wheel of fortune, but this deck is coming along nicely
dragon mage is a card and you need more fork effects as they can be better than having multiple wheels in your hand becasue they are cheaper mirari also comes to mind also you need a liliana's caress and wound reflection both cards have won me games in my nekusar deck.
Agreed, Liliana's Caress is a must get for me, currently only have a copy of megrim, but its on my to get list. I also need to pick up Dragon Mage, the effect on that dude screams 'i win games'
i actually axced mirari, and i JUST removed from the build tonight, i felt they were under performing as a whole.
haha, yeah, i like Jace's Archivist, hes a windfall every untap if he lives, hes a lightning rod to protect Nekusar if he doesnt. Are you suggesting i remove him from my build? I dont plan to remove him.
Have people had much success with Vision Skeins in Nekusar? My version 1 had that card in it, but it was removed later on, due to the fact that after turn 6 its effect was so small by comparison to wheels.
If i wanted an isochron target, i'd probably use Arcane Denial; as they can draw cards and damn themselves, and i get to draw an extra card as well; and in addition to that, its a good counter stick, but i'd need to load the deck up with < 2cc instants to really make isochron worth it. I am not looking to load up on counter magic in this deck, so i will be avoiding that route.
Very strong combo, but my current meta frowns on infinite combo play, so no infinite combos in this deck, especially since that one wins the game on its own outright...I do have a mind over matter left over from taking apart my azami deck though, so if we ever do start playing anything goes, i'll have it to call on for sure. frankly, i kinda see temple bell as a card to drop from this deck actually, its just too little impact for the investment currently; its mostly in because it furthers my goal and is a very unassuming artifact.
Be a lemming hunter. Don't be a lemming. Really, all you had to do was explain to him the popularity metric, not give him the lemming hunter manifesto...
Holy crap Hive Mind looks amazing, and it really opens up the the game for people to respond to it, since it will probably sit a turn before i blow everything up (depending on how cut throat i wanna play it)...
A good card that will instantly end the game with a hive mind in play is Enter the Infinite... Force everyone to draw their deck. If they survive, then they die when they draw for turn from Nekusar's ability

Archmage Ascension should effectively read "win the game" if it goes active in Nekusar. Very likely to be answered before then, but if not, oh boy. The buildup time required should keep it from being considered too cutthroat for your meta, as well.
Words of Waste is pretty mana intensive if you wanted to abuse it off of a wheel, but in general if you've got plenty of cards already it can really put the screws to people. On top of that, it can help stem the bloodflow from your universal draw punishers. Also hilariously strong when paired with Geth's Grimoire.

Thanks for the added input Polski!
Probably wont make a mad dash to grab either, but definitely putting them on my long term want list. Archmage lets me control what i wheel into, and lets me wheel for days, kinda ridiculous. If i add Words of Waste, it will be purely for Geth's abuse, i had never seen that interaction before O_o

mirror is banned you'd have to use isochron scepter on something and I don't believe it works with any wheels
I am not too keen on too many doubling effects for this build, if i wanted more, i'd run cards like echo mage, which are reusable copy effects

I think you mean Tolarian Winds. Winds of Change is 1 mana sorcery.
And Tolarian only affects you.
Currently Playing:
Legacy: Something U/W Controlish
EDH Cube
Hypercube! A New EDH Deck Every Week(ish)!
there are few instant wheels; and the only wheel i can think of that is 2 mana or less is Winds of Change.
But you are correct, Tolarian Winds would be useful as an isostick wheel effect, if it wasnt just me.
