When the Night of the Ninjas Planchase deck came out, the first thought that came to mind was that I should build a ninja EDH deck. The deck is currently a work in progress and has moved through a few iterations. It started with Vela the Night-Clad as the general and the basic idea was to use my opponents decks against them. It ran the full suite of ninjas and other unblockable creatures with a bunch of janky ways to pull cards from opponents field, yard, hand, and library. It was fun to play but super slow and didn't play consistently. I swapped some things around, made Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker the general, and transformed into a psuedo-mill deck. I was disappointed with the performance but liked a few of the cards, and now the deck is going back to it's roots with Vela at the helm and ninjas at her call. I'm trying to focus on getting creatures through for damage and then getting some added bonus for the swing. Using the opponent's cards against them is still a subtheme, and I'd appreciate any suggestions the community comes up with.
As you can see, the deck needs a little work. I think it has a strong base with unblockable creatures, ninja effects, and artifacts for closing the deal. I think it needs a little more tuning, but I'm not really sure where to start. Any suggestions or opinions would be most welcome!
