So this is my first foray into the land EDH/Commander which has been a blast so far. What started as a very casual Phelddagrif enchantments based deck (due to my limited card pool at the time) quickly transformed itself into this Derevi Wizard Swarm creation that I'm a currently working on. I'm not looking to make this a Winter OrbStasis lockdown Derevi deck. But little 'ole Derevi does still like to have a few tapdown abilities to slow down any hyper aggresive strategies.
The deck does have the two common Deadeye Navigator infinite mana combos, however they are not a focus as we don't really have a good way to abuse that much mana(but hey if it happens naturally I'm sure I can find something to with it). A weak spot is dedicated graveyard hate and exile effects as the deck does rely on a good amount of recursion to finish out games. Also, Nekusar, the Mindrazer can be problematic because we really like to draw cards! On to the list!
After playing some more games with deck I'm definitely looking to make a few changes. Would love to hear any comments or suggestions, I know there are like 5 Derevi lists on every page but it would be much appreciated.
Mimic Vat > Bribery
Since we have a fairly high number of legendary creatures Mimic Vat often just imprinted our opponents creatures, Bribery seems better here.
Selesnya Signet > Rites of Flourishing
I really wanted an Explore effect in the deck since we can fill up or hand pretty quickly and generally have extra lands in hand. If this comes down early it can keep the attention off of you for a few turns unlike Oracle or Azusa.
I would add Capsize and Blue Sun's Zenith for those times with infinite mana. You also did not mention it above, but you have all the pieces for Lark combo:
I finally spent a few bucks and mostly put the deck together on MTGO so I can try out some different cards.
I put Capsize in but haven't drawn it yet, although it does seem like a nice second copy of Rift. I never found my self really wanting to cast BSZ when it was in the deck. Usually if I make infinite mana it's to win the game.
Stonybrook is the weaker card but I have it in over Emeria Angel for two reasons. One it makes Wizard tokens to help out with Sigil Tracer and Azami. Secondly, its another 3cmc body to feed to Birthing Pod into the ever so critical 4cmc spot, and besides sometimes you want Derevi, Empyrial Tactician to stick around.
The deck is essentially a toolbox strategy using tutors and card draw to dig for whatever you need based on the game state, and between all the utility creatures and dedicated spot removal it has plenty of answers. Our early goal is to try and get either Voidmage Prodigy or Glen Elendra Archmage online until we can find Birthing Pod or Captain Sisay to start spitting out some wizards.

Cytoplast Manipulator > Stoic Angel
Cytoplast is too slow and since we are putting in Bribery I don't think I need too many steal effects, however Sower of Temptation was a consideration here. The 4 drop spot is a priority because of Birthing Pod + Derevi, Empyrial Tactician.

Survival of the Fittest I will definitely look to find a spot for this once I get my hands on one + Academy Rector.
