Samut + Doubling Season _> Ral Zarek + Jace Architect -> Ugin + who knows.....
What a dream. Still not worth a slot.
Nicol Bolas is so strong. +1 to exile 2 cards from all! Wow. Think of this, doubling season + Bolas, kill the board. Next turn kill the hands. Game is super over

Yeah, it definitely sounds exciting but otherwise it's a dead card. And in reality, it would pretty much end the game immediately, making it much less exciting, compared to cracking off a Dovin Bann where you get to just play the game while everyone watches. Yeah, that's not exciting for them, but it is fun for you. Overall, if you're looking for something like that, Jace, Architect of Thought is your guy. You still get to grab a planeswalker from your deck, presumably someone like Ral Zarek or Ugin, the Spirit Dragon.
Yeah I love the new Bolas. Again, I'll say it until I activate it and see, I think his ultimate is slightly underpowered. Obviously a one-sided board wipe is strong, but it's super easy to bounce back. I still love him though. Both of his pluses are insane.
EDIT: That being said about Jace, I'm considering adding him to the deck, along with the new Bolas on release, to fully bring the deck up to 25 planeswalkers and just stay there. I'm not sure what I would drop, though. I would probably start taking a look at stuff like one of the Regrowth effects, or possibly one of the ramp spells. I'm almost tempted to say that with 25 planeswalker, The Chain Veil might not be terrible, but then again it probably would.
Both definitely interesting. I'm unsure about how much better Fumigate compared to the other wraths in the deck, but that might be a meta call. My playgroup is a lot more midrangy, so you're not going to generating a lot of life from it. I think if life is becoming an issue, I would combine that two and keep Sphinx's Revelation in the deck or drop some of the other things that cause you to lose life a lot (Phyrexian Arena for example).
As for Manifold Insights, it's definitely a really interesting card. Possibly more interesting than Time Spiral, but then again probably not lol. I would be worried that you just end up getting three or four lands, and then tucking your wrath that you desperately NEEDED to draw. You know what I'm saying?`
Your opponents have to give you non-land cards, so the worst you could realistically be getting is ramp!
To be honest, I've never really liked Sphinx's Revelation. I feel like tapping out at 7 mana to draw 4 cards and gain 4 life is just a little underwhelming in multiplayer, where anything less than like 5 life gained likely won't matter. I think it's just a little too expensive for what it does.
Ok, I have been having an issue and I would like everybody's opinions. I run the 4 color Atraxa variant of this deck and as with all 4-5 color decks my mana is painful, between fetches, shocks, and mana vault, I feel like I'm killing myself more than my opponents. Recently two Purphoros decks have been added to the meta and both are designed to tax non-creature spells as well as shock.
TL;DR- My mana is painful, are there any suggestions to help mitigate some of the self damage?

My list is geared towards more of the explosive start and mid game resilency as well as towards a more combolish build with end game jokulhapps. Do let me know how to improve this list!
My meta is pretty cutthorat with alot of combo players multiplayer setting. I have to resort to REB, pyroblast, mana drains, ancient grudges, wear/tear, Ray of revelation to break up combi players.
I am most certainly finding room for Samut, the tested and Nicol bolas God Phraoh.
I've got myself a list that I've put a fair amount of work into, inspired by this very thread. As such, I'd like to see if you folks have any recommendations for improvements to the deck. The actual deck is located here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/5c-superfriends-v4/.
In terms of specific cards, I was thinking about replacing Mirari's Wake with Skyshroud Claim, mainly because Mirari's serves no purpose but being removal bait. Secondly, I'm considering dropping Nevinyrral's Disk as it's a bit too... slow? Even with ways to untap it hasn't been that fantastic. Tainted Aether or Ensnaring Bridge would be the likely replacements. Kiora, the Crashing Wave has consistently underperformed, so I'm considering replacing it with a different walker. Gideon of the Trials, Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast and Jace Beleren would be the candidates to replace it. Other than that, I'm trying to find room for an Enlightened Tutor, and I think that's about it. I could try to shift into a creatureless version, which would free up a few slots, but I'm not sure about doing that, especially since I don't have the money for cards like The Abyss or Moat.
I think mirari's wake is awesome for this deck. It allows for some pretty explosive turns (e.g. Playing it on turn 4, then a 4 mana walker and doubling season on turn 5). I think you should find room for both the wake and Skyshroud Claim.
You're not wrong, but often I'm trying to avoid attention from the rest of the table. Playing a Mirari's Wake draws a lot of attention due to the mana doubling. It's the metaphor of 'slowly boiling a frog', rather than turning it up to full boil right away.
Probably not. Expensive, and I don't see the damage prevention being worth it for the creature-light version of the build. Maybe in a more creature-heavy version, but I still don't see it doing great there.
Sorry everyone, I've been busy with school, interviews and other things. Glad to see some discussion going on here! I'll post an update to the deck when HOU is fully spoiled.
How many enchantments would we have to run before we consider Sterling Grove? At worst it's a more expensive and sorcery speed Enlightened Tutor, but it seems like it could be useful to protect Humility and the like.

Thats an interesting point, because being able to protect Humility is nice. I wouldn't necessarily compare it to Enlightened Tutor though, because it doesn't fetch artifacts and it cost 3 if you want to crack it immediately.

Hey sorry I'mm just now responding, but I think in some sense you're just in a bad spot. My best suggestions is to look into some cards that gain you life and helps you generate life.
What a dream. Still not worth a slot.

Nifty, but yeah not good enough overall. Possibly in a creature oriented deck, such as Atraxa or maybe Angus Mackenzie.
