I'm glad you've been able to put some of our ramblings to good use.
The Queen is really irked at my oversight: how come I missed Decree of Pain?! Especially considering how often it sees play? Considering the staggering amounts of mana you can potentially generate, hardcasting this would not be an issue. Definitely goes on my to-find list!
Decree of Pain, if timed correctly, could win us the game on the spot. In a multiplayer pod it could draw us a ton of cards, something we desperately need sometimes, while sweeping the board clean. The instant speed cycling ability isn't bad either, against tokens or small commanders (Kaalia of the Vast and the like).
You have also some trolling built into that list; I can hardly describe using Memory Jar as anything else. Lovely stuff. And that Recurring Insight thingy is fun, even more so if you happen to be playing against one of those pesky control players. Say after me: how many cards do you have in hand? *snickers*
Overall, I see your list is dealing fairly well with a problem I've noticed sometimes with my own builds: time and time again I run out of cards. I'm definitely going to work on this.
It's funny that you mention those cards: they're recently added try-outs. So far, they're doing pretty well, especially considering I run a more controllish creature-based build in comparison with your counter-combo and pure aggro lists. As said, I'm also going to test some more consistent card drawing like Phyrexian Arena, Mind's Eye and Rhystic Study. Maybe a split between drawing slowly each turn and drawing many cards at once is desirable?
I'm also thinking of adding a sac outlet, because at this point I don't run a single one. I considered Phyrexian Tower, but I would like to be able to sac multiple creatures at once, to dodge pesky removal or to set up a nice Living Death, but I wouldn't know what to pick.
How about Altar of Dementia? Works as a removal-dodger and sets up Living Death, as requested. Alterate win-con with infinite Slivers?

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
They're one-shot use, but Miren, the Moaning Well, High Market, and Phyrexian Tower are all premier utility lands for their ability to be an instant-speed response to steal effects or whatever. If you can fit them into your land-base, they're worth considering.

Welcome to the Hive, Duke & Shade! (Congratulations on your graduation, BTW. Been there, know all the pain and sweat it takes.) And also, it's good to see you're still around, Gref
It's always an awesome thing to read that people is actually finding my ramblings useful. Thank you!

EDIT: @Duke: forgot to mention that the one interesting thing I noticed is your choice of planewalkers. How is Liliana doing for you? And why pick it in the first place?
Out of curiosity, can the Sliver deck only be ran successfully in commander form? Or is there a way to run a sliver deck based on 1v1 60 card rulings successfully?
Otherwise I am still working on my Commander Sliver deck on the plus side

We have a great Sliver Modern discussion that's active, just click the link in my sig. (:
Just poppin in to say I almost have all my slivers foiled out and I'm working on the lands/non-sliver cards slowly! I'm trying to stay more on flavour than powerful, meaning I'm going for a horde sliver mentality and it's been a blast to play! Once I receive a few cards in the mail this next week, I'll post up my list and maybe a few pics. (:

Alright guys, here's my current list. Go ahead and give me some feedback on your thoughts. (:
Just as a heads up, here is my criteria when making this list:
1. The sliver has to be printed in Foil to be included (Sliver Queen excepted for I hope obvious reasons!)
2. All creatures need to steer towards sliver-base (Clones/Changeling are fine, I'm ok with including gods as well)
3. I want it to be hive-based, so I want to have a large large chunk of the deck to be slivers. You'll notice almost half of my current deck is sliver based.
Let me know what you think! Would love some thoughts as to what you would change if you could, or if you have any questions about why I included something specific or left something out that should be included. The decklist overall has changed quite a bit since I started out.
Thoughts as of right now:
* Almost all land cards except 3-4 are foil. Starting on foiling out the lands now.
* Collected Company/Ready // Willing are currently on the chopping block. Both have been iffy in performance - sometimes a blowout and sometimes a dud.
* Once I pick up a foil Verdant Catacombs I'll be slotting that into the deck and taking Plateau out.
Still missing 2 slots. Considering: Praetor's Grasp since I can play any card in any other deck Skyshroud Claim since I can always use more ramp than one haha Catastrophe since it should just win the game
Anyone have thoughts on any other card that can be included? (:
Hello JoJo, you've put a lot into your build! I also try to get foils instead of normal versions of most cards whenever possible but here in my country that's way beyond prohibitively expensive territory... It's more like, 'buy this foil or eat for a week'. The joy. *angry clacking*
Only one question here: how good has Crib Swap been for you? Given that you run a much thicker sliver swarm than I currently do, I would believe there's a high chance it can backfire on you, creature type altering shenanigans notwithstanding.
The cards you're considering are all excellent picks alright. The first one probably has the lowest priority in my book because its usefulness hinges on what kind of stuff the opposition brings to the table and that does not make for a consistent plan IMHO... But that's my two cents only.
I've like Crib Swap since tutor able targeted removal has helped in several situations. The only time it hasn't been spectacular is when I had a sliver legion in play, but I was ahead at that point and life was good. (:
I can completely agree on your thoughts with Praetor's Grasp.... I think it's more so a fun included than a downright bomb, but it can remove combo pieces and mega hate as well, so I'm not sure. I may get it just for the laughs. 😂

Well, instead of Realms Uncharted you could put Wargate, sorcery speed, yeah, but it puts lands directly to play for 3,
and that means Cavern of Souls... Strip Mine, Mutavault, and on late game it still is useful for tutoring permanents.
In Sliver deck I'm not so much a fan of sorcery/instant draws, you usually use your own slivers as answers, I prefer a lot constant drawing/tutoring.
For example I use Yisan, the Wanderer Bard on my sliver deck, he is both card advantage and tutoring, but you can also use constant drawing like Rhystic Study that is simply amazing on multiplayer games, or Phyrexian Arena that you already are planning on adding.
Would love to see the progress of your deck! (: I'm foiling mine out as well, but by bit, and plan on posting this week (should get a few more in the next few days).
You run a LOT more ramp than me, which is interesting. How has it run for you and do you ever just have massive land everywhere? I've never been flooded, but I've run dry once or twice.

I'm surprised you're not running Krosan Verge. Even if I ditched all my ramp, I would still keep it. At the time being I'm testing a build with fetches, the aforementioned Verge and lots of artifact mana sources - but no direct ramp spells.
After trying out many, I settled for Catastrophe as my single nuclear warhead. All is Dust I used for a long time along with Ghostflame Sliver as well; having Sliver Hivelord around, I can't say which is the better nuke; I think I prefer being able to strike either at my opponents' military or economy.
If you're looking for draw options built into the swarm, Dormant Sliver is the card to go. If you're going to field it, you'd better have some sac outlets, or a way to bounce it - you don't want to be on an advantageous position for an alpha strike, only for your slivers being asleep. Rhystic Study, in my opinion, is more of an annoyance than an outright card advantage engine unless you have enough countermagic to defend it.
Yisan, the Wanderer Bard goes straight into the useful cards list for being a Swiss Army knife of sorts. *Nods at Raizen*
How do the Dragons work out for you? Or is it just me that I utterly suck at using them? I never found a planeswalker that nailed it.
@Pestifism
1. I currently only use Harmonize and Distant Melody. I like both of them alot. I have tried Brainstorm and Stroke of Genius and just found I almost always wanted to cast other things instead.
2. I don't run any sweepers, except possible combos with Slivers. If your deck is functioning correctly you shouldn't want to sweep the board. I do however run some counterspells to stop sweepers.
3. I currently play 38 lands which includes a full set of duals and most fetches, but my lands are skewed to green sources. I run 6 artifact sources of mana which sounds like a lot but in my experience you usually draw one a game. I use three (four) ramp cards (Farseek, Cultivate, and Shard Covergence {Exploration}) and I cannot see myself cutting any of them. I consider Cavern of Souls uncuttable and I would replace a pain land for it. I don't like Sliver Hive yet, and if I get another fetch it will be cut. I could not see me cutting any of my ramp or mana acceleration as I am always using all of my mana every turn, I actually wish I had more mana!

Wargate is an excellent suggestion with lots of versatility! Will definitely try it out.
You might be right about drawing. I see that Yisan would be good in the deck, but I like to keep the creature-base sliver-only, for flavour purposes.
Umezawa's Jitte is in solely because I wanted to ship a single equipment; The reason I chose Jitte is because it is a great card overall with beautiful GP art, in my opinion. That said, every time I draw it, it helps me one way or another (killing utility creatures/small commanders, pushing through commander damage, synergy with Bonescythe Sliver) and lifegain comes in handy sometimes as well.
I will post pictures next weekend, I'm excited to see yours!
Being flooded has never been a problem for me, I have use for my mana every single game. In fact, I would not consider removing even one acceleration spell/mana rock. It helps that the Overlord is a manasink who can shut down games very quickly with loads of mana, or offer some resilience against boardwipes/other types of removal (by searching a sliver or two in response).
Sword of Feast and Famine has a lot of synergy with your commander and blanks quite a bit of removal. It may be a great sword to have in there if you're looking for a piece of equipment. Sword of Light and Shadow also blanks removal and gives creature recursion which is always great in this deck!
I was moreso curious to see a lack of gas or speed due to lands or ramp spells and having to rely on getting your commander and tutoring to make things happen. Does this occur often at all?
Ever had Decimate get stuck in your hand for not having enough legal targets? Just curious, I can think of several board states where I would have had to target my own stuff to have it resolve... but this probably becomes less common the larger your group is. (:
Bring to Light will most likely make it into my list. Tutor Legion/Queen/Hivelord or Seedborn Muse/Prophet/Karametra? Yes please! Also being able to pull massive board wipes/massive recursion is also a big plus. I'm definitely going to be testing it. (: I just wish it could pull enchantments as well... Mirari's Wake would be such a good tutored for item. D:
@Pestifism - What is the main way you win or expect to win with your decklist?
As requested here is my updated list, it is one card short. I don't know what to put in but it will likely be Bring to Light. My original list is in post 377. I swear I posted an updated list since then, but I have yet to find it. (Edit: last update was post 525)
I have to go back on my previous comment... it is not just one nuke I run, but two: Catastrophe and Devastation. I know I'm breaking a taboo of sorts here, but that's power escalation for you.
I have to give credit where it's due: I went out of the way to get most of the pieces I did not have to try out MickTheCardSculptor's list and it's an absolute monstrosity. Soon I'll be updating the list on the aggro primer... or is it the combo primer? Damn, I'd say it's both.
Oh, BTW: I'm preordering a foil Bring to Light as of yesterday.
EDIT: @ToolMakesMeDrool, good to see you around for such a long time I'm looking at your list and now I have to add both Exploration and Ashnod's Altar to my shopping list... mostly out of having variants to try out, really. Other than that, I ponder on your countermagic picks, and why are they so few. I'd have either packed more or none at all. How does it work out for you?
Thanks for having me around for so long! I am surprised I haven't been run off yet.
I am still trying to find the right counter package for the deck, so which counters to use are open for suggestions. I would like to increase the number of them as well but I am unsure what to cut right now. I only usually need to draw one or two counters for the course of the game.
Shard Convergence ranges from awesome to decent. It is possible to play it on turn 2 and get way ahead of everyone. It fixes my mana while ramping which is all I ask the card to do. I do agree that if it is your only "acceleration" it can be a turn too slow. It can be a bad draw in the endgame but it keeps it's playability well past the middle of the game.
Claim actually ramps (in case you play four lands in four turns), still allows you to fetch duals, and allows you to still play a spell in addition to it. It feels more powerful early, similar mid, and probably worse later on.
Current iteration of the deck, only two cards added. Root Sliver is waiting in the wings. The group I play right now runs only a few counter spells, but lots of kill spells (typically black) so Ward Sliver is a better play right now. I would say these are interchangeable for me depending on the groups that I'm playing with and will switch them back and forth as necessary.
How about Altar of Dementia? Works as a removal-dodger and sets up Living Death, as requested. Alterate win-con with infinite Slivers?

Really, I couldn't say. I never tried competitive slivers myself. I did some googling around -some very, very shallow googling, mind you- and found that a canny servant of the Hive piloted a deck to a stunning 7-1-1 at the Milan GP last year. It's a bit dated now, agreed, but probably it could be improved...
Also, you may want to have a look at this list for ideas. I'm tempted myself to dabble a bit on the side with this stuff...

I play more slivers than you but some of them are redundant combo pieces. 6 slivers I have that you do not are Amoeboid Changeling, Acidic Sliver, Quick Sliver, Clot Sliver, Dormant Sliver, and Root Sliver (3 {possible} combo pieces, 2 protection, and 1 card advantage)
5. Good luck with this! I am not very focused on this right now but I probably will be some day.
