You say that Strategic Planning is bad due to its sorcery-speed, but then add Ponder. Anyway, planning looks a lot more impressive because you can dump reanimation targets.
Planning didn't work as well and I like ponder with all the shuffle effects. May dump it later but not sure yet.
So here's what I've noticed using loot effects. They are too inconsistent. I've completely abandoned this strategy. Entomb and Intuition (and possibly Buried Alive) are pretty much the way it should be done. And you can use tutors to which serve as additional copies of these two cards.
Also Small Pox is an amazing pitch spell. And in the right deck, the best pitch spell you can play. You might want to look into it. Imagine pitching Sylvan Primordial to it then reanimating it. You just killed two of their lands and mitigated the loss of yours. You'll probably want to drop Birds of Paradise from your list if you go this route. Also Death Cloud and Sylvan Primodial are best friends. Mimeoplasm makes it the most amazing threesome ever.
If you are going to use windfall I recommend Notion Theif. The card can just steal games.
You are waaaaayy too all in on the GY shenanigans. Too many silver bullets for your deck. I would suggest just sticking to the best reanimation spells and incorporating a strategy to build your board state while disrupting others.
Rune-Scarred Deamon is not a good reanimation target.
You probably don't need Gaze of Granite in the deck. I've found both Gaze and Pernicious deed to be too redundant.
Run at least one 1CC cycle land with your life from the loam.
You can probably cut several pitch spells. If your deck gets disrupted, the hand size will dwindle quickly.
Kederekt Leviathan. Test this card.
Why cut Life/death, Nostalgic dreams, and regrowth?
I love the idea of smallpox and will definatly test that out. I love death cloud in my stax deck and will probably test it here too. Maybe throw Braids in here as well?
I have Notion thief in my testing board for later.
Why Leviathan over Cyclonic rift? Just because it's an early reanimate that messes with people?
Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
Not 100 percent sold on taking out all the looters and some reanimation but the list does look more solid now.
Took out Sheoldred as well because it's underwhelming me recently.

One of the main reasons to run Death Cloud alongside SP in a Mimeo deck is, Image you are ahead on lands (SP) and have some mana rocks. You obliterate everyone's mana base and their hands with DC. Now if you have the 5CC needed to cast mimeo, chances are you are going to rez something sweet. Remember. Everyone just lost their hands.
If Nosalgic Dreams get countered, you are in a world of hurt. Regrowth isn't proactive enough. I would switch out Life/Death with Corpse Dance as you are running sac lands.
Chain of Vapor is an amazing spell because you can animate SP with one of those three rez enchantments, possibly sac a land to bounce an enemies non-land permanent, then recast the rez enchantment to retrigger SP. Double SP trigger, bounce a nonland all for 11BBU and sac a land. It's a good deal.'
If you add Braids and Deathcloud to this deck you are going to be thinking about it in all new ways.
I only run two artifacts so I don't think deathcloud would be optimal.
Also I'll be losing my giant creature to it as well.
Corpse dance is 5 mana though. I took out body double and beacon of unrest for that very reason.
Chain of vapor does look fun to use though.

Our drops are too high to justify Dark Confidant's addition. Necrologia is strong but at that point you can thing of adding necropotence instead!
In commander multiplayer show and tell is too risky: imagine it someone drops omniscence with it...

Edh Decks: Maelstrom Wanderer | Ephara, God of the Polis | Surrak Dragonclaw
Those are excellent points against Show and tell. I was merely thinking of abusing sylvan and destroying whatever they put in or leviathan and bouncing everything anyway.
I love Necropotence but whenever I discard it gets exiled instead. That's reason enough not to run it.
My average Cmc is 3 but it's probably too risky for bob

Dark Confidant and Show and Tell do not have a position in this deck, I agree. If you still want to draw extra cards there is the option of Phyrexian Arena, but still I'm not sure if it could be a good addition to the deck.
And now the important question... What would you cut to add a Grim Tutor?

I've been enjoying the change but am thinking about putting back the looters. They seem much better with the counters and cards like vamp/mystic tutor and lim-duls valut.
And with that I'd probably throw victimize and dread return back. Not sure yet but who knows. Probably depends on the bannings that may or may not happen.

The issue with those cards is that they need to go to your next turn to have an impact.
My decklist doesn't focus on killing via general damage so cards like Lord and Inkwell don't do anything for me.
The Triskelion combo is awesome but I prefer Palinchron because I only need two cards to get infinite mana rather than three.
I was almost finished building the deck and this banning ruined all my dreams man! Goodbye sweet friend... From my point of view I think that something with big impact on the board should be added in the slot of the primodial but I cannot think of sth at the moment. If I have any good thoughts I will inform you but at the moment I will at least just try (or I think I will lol) help you on how to proceed. Won't the deck be low on huge scary critters if primordial is out and nothing comes to replace him? I think that even 2 good creatures instead of him can minimize the loss. Please if you think I am wrong tell me so I can take my thoughts to a different path.
Right now Jin is the best target by a huge margin. Terastodon destroys things but doesn't ramp for us. However he is hilarious when bounced and followed by a pernicious deed

As far as I know there is not.
The main selling point to sylvan was the ramp.
Following him up with copies was extremely brutal, putting you ahead 9 lands to zero. Terastodon gives you a bigger body and you can take out the three biggest threats rather than just one from each opponent but it does not ramp.
However if you're looking for just destructive force he is close enough. Following him with either pernicious deed, gaze of granite or using an enchantment to reanimate Kederekt leviathan and wipe away all those tokens still puts in you in a big lead but not as much as sylvan would.
I'm merely hoping that some set soon has a similar thing that's more "fair" to the people who wanted him banned.
Normally I'd be all over Bane of progress for the replacement but destroying lands is usually more important than other things and it hurts the most powerful card in our deck, Survival of the fittest
I may throw in Lotus cobra since it's insane with fetches and oracle but it really doesn't solve much here.

I ended up putting in two looters in the place of sylvan and smallpox.
Thinking about cutting notion theif for sheoldred but it ends games with windfall so I may have it stick around.
I may just be thinking of how I love to do that rather than it being actually good but it's my deck and I'll do what I want.

Welp, saw this thread a few days ago and the deck looked pretty fun. Built my own version with what I had, but it's pretty similar. A big difference, though, is that I didn't really see much of a point in running Mimeoplasm. Sounds weird, but he just didn't do much. Even before a Living End or Exhume, my creatures are just bigger and better than theirs, so I don't care. I replaced him with Damia, Sage of Stone because she can help me out in a pinch. I was playing in some games yesterday where I really needed to draw, but just didn't have anything to do it with. Damia got me out of it. A corner case to be sure, but it's more than Mimeoplasm had done.
Anyway, for those interested, and because I'd like some feedback, here's my list:
Lands are a work-in-progress, I'm still in the process of figuring out how to make infinite dollars.
The deck has served me alright thus far. The only two decks (and games, actually) I've lost were to a Sliver Queen combo deck that is basically tutors + combos, and Azami. I've got a 50/50 win rate against Azami thus far (Flash + Woodfall Primus right after a Pact of Negation FTW!). I could've beat the Queen deck, but I used Grip on his Mirari's Wake to try and prevent shenanigans (like his oh-so-common Genesis Wave for deck) instead of waiting a turn when he dropped Helm + Leyline. Oh well, what can ya do.
Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this deck. It's the first deck I've played where it felt like I was playing an EDH deck and not just a stack of cards, if that makes any sense. I'm sure it annoys people when I sit for two minutes trying to figure out if I win this turn, but I don't really care. Plus it's the kind of deck that can lead to all sorts of stories, like a T2 Jin, or getting Teferi, Con Sphinx, and a Metamorph on Prophet of Kruphix so I start taking my turn on everyone elses' turns too
I'm also thinking of adding Bane of Progress. He seems really good, and my meta can definitely be wrecked by him. Worst case, if he's a dead card... Just don't Reanimate him.
I may try that out. My thoughts are that plasm is a reanimation spell when all else fails. However with sylvan banned its rare that I want to reanimate anything other than Jin so I may just try it out

It always confuses me when people focus solely on using mimeo to reanimate things from their own yard. I almost never target my own things with him because I find it far more effective to have him be a pseudo grave hater as well as a reanimation piece.
Not often that there are things int he graveyard that are a huge threat.
However someone in my playgroup plays a mean Karador deck so exiling his threats is always nice.

Your playgroup has no one playing Sun Titan? Sheoldred? Or even any creatures that you are playing? Unless I am going up against random creatureless deck, I almost always find decent targets at some point in the game. When you exile your own stuff you lose the ability to reuse them, which can be a pretty large blow in multiplayer. A lot of the time I just exile something large as a distraction as my deck is not meant for Mim to carry on his own, but people never seem to realize that so they blow their removal allowing me to easily combo out. Thus I mostly only go after opposing yards with Mim.
Yes some people play Sun titan or sheoldred but most of the time I'd rather do some other things. By the time I can cast plasm I'd rather start comboing off or destroying problems.

Random thought/idea. Anyone here tried Tidespout Tyrant or Words of Wind in the deck? To me, reanimator in multiplayer edh is less about getting fatties to beat, and more about getting expensive creatures to screw with opposing resources. Both of the above cards are very good at that so I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts.
