I'm not a fan of deprive since it sets us back a little bit if we use it turn 2-3.
Story time
Playing against RG Land destruction deck
Hand has 2 lands, frantic search, intuition, animate dead, reanimate, and mana drain
He plays a sol ring turn one.
My turn I draw forbidden alchemy and play a land
Next turn he plays a land and cultivate
My turn I draw a land and play a fetch to get double blue.
He plays Plow under and I Mana drain it
My turn I play a land, cast intuition getting chron/deadeye/rune-scarred (5 mana left)
I cast Frantic search binning the deadeye he left me and a dryad arbor (5 mana left)
I reanimate palinchron (7 mana)
Animate dead deadeye Now infinite mana
I use my general to get rune-scarred + arbor
Search
Get eternal witness.
Cast infinite forbidden alchemy til I get reality shift and destroy his library.
To be fair, I was gonna mana drain whatever he cast that turn to net that mana but this case shows how awesome the card can be
Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
Stop making those of us who don't own a Drain jealous, please
Bazaar was also real good in the matches I played.
Nothing quite like drawing off a land. Wouldn't you agree?

It wasn't duel commander.
I find that usually in 3 person + games online it boils down to 1 v 1 90 percent of the time so I just ask for 1 v 1 competitive games and I can usually fight against good decks that way. Even better if their deck is tailored for 1 v 1 since then I'm running a disadvantage.
I also would like to add more tutors *CoughImperialSealCough* but I'm convinced a judge promo will come right after I drop 800 on one. So...I'll wait.
I also would like to optimize the deck further by making it harder to kill my wins with more counters and protection by taking out some of the more sub par cards but I've been playing this deck for so long that it's difficult to cut much since I feel like every card has situations where it really shines.
I'm thinking close to 97 percent of the deck is optimized, I'm fairly sure I'm close to the best it can be. Often taking out decks tailored for duel commander with ease.
Also, I like that people are using my decklist to start their own. It leads to them finding sweet ideas for me to use later.
I've run into the identical deck online before for testing (I destroyed him :p)
Also have been told I was net-decking before. That was sweet

I was under the assumption Negate was in. I really like the one for a U that counters instants too. Stubborn Denial still seems really worth it- I've just never drawn into it enough, but few times do I need to counter in my combo decks until I have something with >4 power
My issue with denial is that when they counter something like reanimation. I won't have anything on board and denial does pretty much nothing here. Not sure if it's worth a slot over the other counters already in the deck.
Same for negate, while it's sweet for countering threats to our creatures it doesn't stop things like Narset or Arcum, which means in those match ups it's pretty useless. I'd much rather throw in another hard counter than something that needs credentials to work

I pretty much only play on Cockatrice. From the games I've played with 3-4 people it seems like there's usually at least one that can keep up while the other two are a little behind. However once I land a Jin and can protect it through a turn (once most people tap out or I have some counters/misdirection) to mess with removal.
Once hands are barren it's pretty easy to win.
I try to make sure I'm not the target until I can land Jin, reanimate, and protect him in a multiplayer game.
In 1 v 1 I like to hope my opponents decks are more optimized for taking out one person since it's more interesting that way. Usually it's RG land destruction or mono blue control. Otherwise it's usually just me using tutors and control to win shortly after.

Exchanged Cancel over Negate yesterday and it promptly payed off.
I'd like some tipps based on your experience. Yesterday I played a round and reanimated Sheoldred on T2 for 7 life.
It was nice, nobody did destroy it for a couple turns and it kept the creatures aways I could beat 1 guy down to 16.
My plan was to get out "it that betrays" to profit from the sacrifice or Jin to cripple their hands, but I just couldn't get them.
But what I was struggeling me the most with was the lifeloss from the reanimation spells. After 2 Reanimate and 1 Life//Death I was down to 11, got attacked and mana crypt finished me off.
I think cutting mana crypt would be good for something other because it can easily deal you 12 or 15 damage if the end is nowhere near, and till then it is just a dead card in my hand.
I also feel that stich together would help the lifeloss alot, maybe in exchange for Life//Death?
But oh well, I scewed up so bad anyways. I had a Sylvan Library out and only saw lands on the top.
I had 2 fetchlands and didn't think about activating them to shuffle my library until some spectator gave me a hint. I still need to learn how to play this deck properly.
Nothing quite like drawing off a land. Wouldn't you agree?
Yeah, Coliseum is great
Don't cut Crypt or Life//Death, they are among the best cards in the deck. Yes they use life, but life is just another resource for you to use. Crypt sometimes doesn't even punish you if you are lucky (I've seen a guy in my playgroup not being hit once in the entire game) and gives you an amazing speed boost that can win you the game early. And remember that due to the nature of the deck if the games goes too long we start being at disadvantage so we need to capitalize on the early stars.
Death is probably the second best reanimation spell because it isn't dead to enchantment removal. Stitch will never be online t2 for the early starts, so it is not reliable.
You could try to add some ways to gain life to the deck, but there aren't many good options. Your best bet is probably learning to manage the lifeloss with pratice.
Your issue may be reanimatign sheoldred. She isn't hugely impactful if shes what you first reanimate. Mana Crypt is too powerful to remove. If I play it t1 or t2 I have kind of set up the "Hey guys, im gonna win" foreshadowing
Sheoldred is a sub par target for reanimation.
Sure she brings back other threats from the graveyard but why aren't you just reanimating them directly?
I don't think cutting life/death or crypt is wise. The life loss is irrelevant most of the time since we can directly change the game to our favor very quickly and early. Sure we can get down to 24 life on turn two but then we win the following turn, it doesn't really matter

Yeah, most of the time there is nothing worth reanimating besides Jin.
I was wondering what was the ideal line of play back when Griselbrand was legal. I'm assuming reanimate him t2, draw 35 cards, discard the combo and pass the turn with free counters in hand, untap and win?
Pretty much. Keeping force or misdirection then counter if its a threat then go for the win.

Ah Griselbrand. But yeah, Sheoldred only really locks down creature buildup, and to me that's just "stalling the game", not "winning the game"
Even early Vorinclex pretty much stalls the game, but it does so heavily in your favor if they can't dig up removal. The less optimized "competitive" decks in my meta still scoop to one turn 2.
Yeah, I don't get to play this deck enough. At least I traded for a spellskite thanks to MM2. I want to find a point in time when someone forgets that this thing can steal creature auras.
I would have already cut Vorinclex if he wasn't just a quick "I win" with counter magic open.
Imagine your opponent tapping out to vindicate him and you cast any counter. Enjoy your free time walk.
Afterwards getting greater good and floating a ton of mana has been great. Not amazing but still great.
Of course we're talking about the optimal situations though

Pleyed the deck yesterday in a 2hg/free4all and it just wrecks.
Most of the times I win with an early Jin or a midgame deadeye/chron + Exsanguinate.
Only decks that are annoying are those that clone/copy...
Iam still on the fence about vorinclex. I still prefer more diverse reanimation targets that can adjust to any situation.
Well for now I see no reason to cut him.
He's better than it that betrays and herald of leshrac so he's in for now.
But when something better comes along you all know who will be my first pick for removal
Which kinda sucks cause my wife did an awesome alter of him just for this deck.

So I was looking for a spell to replace Hinder and stumbled upon Rites of Refusal. Figured I'd ask about here. It seems good because it can fill the graveyard pretty easily for us.
Not sure bout it. I'm not a fan of spells that people can just pay extra to counter.
We don't often have cases where fatties are stuck in hand either
Also I think forbid is better since it counters all the time.

How do you guys feel about extra tutors like Grim tutor, personal tutor, maybe even the green ones or the risky ones like consultation/tainted pact? There's also the transmute ones.
I had personal tutor on the list before and the sorcery speed and being able to only find a few choice cards in the deck didn't seem worth it.
A vast majority of the best spells in the deck are not sorcery speed so losing card advantage for something that almost always is just another reanimation spell doesn't work too great. We have plenty of those and it's not often one isn't in hand.
Everything else you mentioned you pretty much stated why they're not good enough.
Fauna shaman is interesting but too slow and grim tutor competes with all the 3 cmc spells that are just better.
