This is great news. It would be better if we saw metalworker come off the banlist also. Currently, there's no easy way to pair this with a second card in my list that I know of for an easy combo. If they make an artifact creature that taps for 5, then we're in business! There's probably a very convoluted way to animate everflowing chalice that taps for 5 - but afaik, it's CMC would still be 0, amirite ? Checking Rules forum now...

Yeah it would be, but you were looking for something to do with infinite mana right instead of goblin cannon? this allows for you to do something with it and at the same time is a great card
So I've been playing the deck for a couple of weeks now. I'm liking it alright, but I'm open to suggestions for changes or additions. The one that I know I want to find room to fit in is Shimmer Myr because I do like the idea of having surprises on my opponent's turn.
I like it !
You gotta give me some info, though. What's your meta like ? What decks ? What do you like ? Whatcha wanna change ?
Flesh it out and we'll see what we can do !
I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with my deck, but my playgroup is all over the place from casual to super competitive because I go between two to three playgroups.
Any and all suggestions regarding cards on this list or cards not on this list are greatly appreciated. Basically I want it to be competitive, but not to where it is always "that deck." I know that depends a lot on me as the player, but that is also reflected in my card choices as well.

I'm sad that City of Traitors doesn't make the cut. It's occasionally awkward, but it has led to some of the most busted things my Arcum deck has done, and the two decks are not that dissimilar.
Problem is that no one is going to let you live for too long if you drop Darksteel Reactor without a way to accelerate it rapidly. But it does sound like fun... especially considering the potential with Contagion Engine and other cards.

I think the reactor will get you targeted before you can end the game more often than not. It's not a huge threat, but people will often think it is.
Its a card with only one obvious purpose - and I like my cards to fly under the radar until the last second.
It is also only a reliable win condition with something like Magistrate's Scepter ( to zip through 20 turns and get you hated) or contagion engine (that won't do much on it's own or for very many other cards in your deck - except enabling an epic Karn Planeswalker Ultimate (again, probably getting you hated).
Lastly - I only see this card winning once I go infinite. If that's the case, I'd rather have a win condition that can draw me cards (staff of nin) or recur something (codex Shredder) in a pinch.
Bonus - it's a solid blocker when animated by Karn, so that's something.
EDIT: My list is very tight right now, so I couldn't afford 2 or 3 slots to support this. However, if you feel you DO have the space to try it out, give it a shot - and take mental notes on how well it does for you.

Also, to drag this back to my previous post on the last page: Speaking of space, I'm still looking for feedback on my deck.
I have added a link to this thread in my thread for people who are interested.
Also, in your interactions section you listed that a tapped Winter Orb would result in being one-sided effect. This works for static orb and such but not for the winter one.

Thanks & Fixed! Note - it wasn't until recently that they ruined (IMO) Winter orb. The errata to turn it into a continuous artifact was issued while I was playing Karn EDH (and worked as spec'd when the interactions was first written). There may even be a post in here highlighting that change.
I'm at work right now so I can't really make any larger changes.
^ I like playing both. Cloud key is a better Mirrorworks/sculpting steel target, and semblance works great on its own and I'm never at a loss for something to ditch to it.
Also, responding to something on the previous page (burntgerbil): Making an Everflowing Chalice a creature that won't die instantly? Eldrazi Monument =P Also lets you animate your lands with Mycosynth Lattice on the board, you could conceivably voltaic combo with scorched ruins, or city of traitors + heartstone + construct, or deserted temple equipped with a bracers =D
Judwah: Winter Orb is still cool if you have erratic portal out and animate it at the end of the last players turn.

heh, yeah but I play a kozilek deck so "animating a winter orb" isn't going to happen that easily. Also, I've always loved winter orb I was just pointing out a mistake on his interaction list.
You really like semblance anvil? People go out of their way to kill this thing as fast as possible in my meta. Its like giving them a two for one.

It's more like a way to dump your hand for cheap. So they might blow it up, but as long as I get value out of it, I don't mind. Plenty of times, I'd cast it, ditch a prism or whatever, and then proceed to drop my hand of scary things for next to nothing. The damage is done. I play a lot of draw though, so I tend to replace cards faster this way. I understand you play kozilek in the hot seat, so your draw suite is pretty non-existent right? =P
So yeah, I guess you could say it's still a risk though, but cloud key is still a target too. Depends on the board state and what kind of hand you got.

my staff of domination fueled combo goes like this, get infinite mana with rings and monolith, staff for deck, drop all your artifacts minus spine of ish sah, put a charge counter on magistrates scepter, untap with clock of omens, play spine, sac it to throne of geth proliferating the counter, repeat, take extra turn, do the same for the reator till 20 destroying opposing permanents as you go, then take another extra turn and win! c;
Artifact Ring of Three Wishes enters the battlefield with three wish counters on it.
:5mana:, :symtap:, Remove a wish counter from Ring of Three Wishes: Search your library for a card and put that card into your hand. Then shuffle your library."
Strictly better than Planar Portal, still worse than Kudoltha. Hm.
Yes! I had seen it - but I don't run portal because it just seems to make the deck too linear. In other decks, I might want to tutor - but I find most of the fun in Karn is working with what you have.

If you get the Voltaic Construct infinite mana loop going, you can just animate Contagion Engine or Contagion Clasp and win that turn.

I like it over semblance anvil but I'm not sure how effective it is

Are you saying I have low amount of draw or high?
[Primer] Kozilek, Butcher with Juice.
Implying your draw suite IS your commander, and anvil can't exactly help you on that one =P
actually, now that I think about it, that'd be really funny to fill a kozilek deck with rocks and creature bounce. oh wait D:
