In my group that plays EDH, we have anywhere from 4 to 6 people in a single game. We play free for all, and it usually boils down to negotiating temporary alliances and working to bring down the biggest threat at the time while keeping a low profile and appearing unthreatening.
I'm on a budget, so I can't afford a lot of expensive cards like Windswept Heath, Umezawa's Jitte, Savannah, etc, so I'm working with what I have. Cards I'd like to get for the deck are Yosei the Morning Star, Genesis, Gaddock Teeg, and Akroma Angel of Wrath.
I welcome comments and criticism, so please let me know.
I think this is a really nice shell, but I would strongly recommend upping your legendary count. I’m not saying to put all of these cards in the deck but depending on you meta. I would personally run 8-12 more legends.
And all but two fall under 5 bucks with most of the falling 2 bucks (Keeping budget in mind)
I suggested these legends because I like to think of CS as a toolbox deck. She’s a living tutor and the deck can be built to optimize that. I have a friend who plays a nasty CS deck and it's because the deck is optimized for answers. Large group games are a chaotic mess. Having reliable answers is key.
Then looking through your deck I see a disturbing lack of ramp and a lot of high CMC creatures that you are not planning on cheating into play. You don’t have to be super aggressive in ramp, because it sounds like you play long games but still cultivate, Kodama's reach Harrow rampant growth, and like and mana rocks like sol ring will help reduce some the strain having a large curve entails.
Phyrexian Vault seems out of place here.
No Gen Wave?
I really wanted to build a CS deck, but I ended up building a 5 color Progen deck that runs around 30 Legends I run five deck slots that I rotate different cards in and out of but it hovers around 30. And CS is usually always the first thing I tutor up.
Hope this helped
