This list is pretty similar to the retired Karador primer, barring a few changes. The list is pretty tight and plays really well. Torpor Orb shuts down creature-heavy ETB decks hard, so I try to mix it up and rely on sac based effects and spells as well for removal. As with most recursion decks, exiling the graveyard can suck, so don't be in a rush to dump everything into your graveyard.
If you're feeling a bit unfriendly you can try Hokori, Dust Drinker. You just sac him EOT and recast him during your main phase for a 1 sided Winter Orb.
It hasn't come up yet. I initially added it in a variant I'm working on with Armageddon, so Ranger was better. Some of that mentality probably carried over to this deck. Another nice thing Bout Ranger is that I can keep a two land hand and still have three lands untapped turn three and play a mana elf.

Isn't there a green creature that lets you tutor for a land with combat damage, or am I thinking of the aura?
Don't think I own Dust Drinker, although I just got a Yosei for the deck.
Hokori is interesting I might try that if I get one...
I notice that you are very light on boardsweeps, which are powerfull and play very well with the deck.
A card I can dearly recommend is Dimir House Guard which not only tutors for a lot of powerful spells but also provides a larkable sacoutlet for comboloops.

The tutoring part is nice, but I've already got plenty of sac outlets. I'm trying to avoid cards that mainly only serve one purpose (in this case to fuel a multi-card combo). On that note.....
Been wanting Yosei for a while, and Woody had the highest cmc, so it got the cut (as much as I love the removal). Lord doesn't actually serve much use other than the Jarad combo, and as I mentioned above, I'm not trying to make my wins too easy. Resto Angel just makes the broken things in the deck brokener.

Yosei is really, really good once it's become a 1v1 game towards the end. I've been toying with cutting him in my list simply because his impact is so low on 2 or 3 players with a lot of life. It can be really hard to Yosei lock down a game without some help. I guess I'm just torn between always wanting to lock down players with him and the fact he does offer some utility as a way to just tap down important artifacts, lands and creatures forever. I'm debating cutting him for Hokori actually. I haven't decided if that is too mean for my normal play groups though.
How is the Captian Sisay package going for you? My girlfriend just started playing Karador and I was looking for good resources. I was also curious about Harvester of Souls and Mikeaus the Unhallowed. They seem pretty amazing to me, but I've only played Karador a few times.
I've only played the deck a couple of times since adding her, so dunno yet. Harvester and Mike are both solid value. Mike gets crazy with a sac outlet out so he shouldn't live long if your opponents are smart. The worst thing about building the deck is that it's really greedy for 6-drops.

Yeah, it becomes really hard to avoid having a ton of six drops. I've had to cut really good six drops just to keep the deck active in the early game. My last painful cut was Sheoldred. Really hurt to cut it, but I was almost never casting her.
I didn't actually like Debtor's Knell. I never ran it in this deck, but others. It ate removal immediately (as it should), and more often than not it ended up being a wasted turn.
How has academy rector been treating you? Do you think Aura of Silence might be better than krosan grip here?
Academy Rector is good because there's a variety of enchantments I can pull. I'm not going to grab anything broken like Omniscience, but no matter what, I can find something useful.
Aura of Silence is a good card, with positives and negatives. On the plus side, it taxes, it's recurrable with Sun Titan, and fetchable with the aforementioned Academy Rector. The downside is that because it's a rattlesnake card, opponents will play around it when necessary, and may blow it up before it's gotten full use. Krosan Grip really only serves as removal, but it's got an easier casting cost, it's an instant so opponents can't prepare for it as easily, and because it has split second, it can't be countered.
Because I sold her because I never used her. She's also really high CMC and by the time I birthing pod into her or can cast her, I should be preparing to either lock the whole board or combo out.
How do you feel about the reanimation enchantments? Dance of the Dead and Animate Dead work for me since they're cheap recursion and the enchantments can come back to play with Sun Titan. What are your thoughts?
