I love come-into-play abilities. Two of my favorite EDH decks were Riku and Momir Vig, both of which repeatedly re-use and abuse come-into-play abilities. I already had the other three colors, so it was time to complete the pie.
I originally wanted Vish Kal as my general, but Ghost Council actually fit the theme. Without access to U I don't have nearly as many ways to bounce, but I've still managed to load it with tons of ways to recur - either from my graveyard or the battlefield. And I have a handful of solid card that fit the colors.
The additional Sac outlets are mostly to abuse things life Faceless Butcher, Fiend Hunter, and Leonin Reli-Warder (permanent exile), but also to throw things in my 'yard so I can recur them again. I originally planned to have even more (like Phyrexian Altar), but there wasn't enough room. And the ninjas, in addition to being fun cards, allow me to recast a creature with a CIP ability.
If you have any suggestions for additions, let me know, but I'll also want a suggestion for what to cut in it's place.
After playing twice, I've realized how awesome this deck is. I still need a copy of Ghost Council (I have all the others), so I've been subbing in Vish Kal as the acting general. I just wanted to share the stupidist kill combo ever:
I had my last opponent at 10 life, but he was getting ready to combo off, and I had to kill him this turn. With a Sun Titan as my only creature (post-wrath, Titan saved by Angelic Renewal), it wasn't going to happen. So I cast Vish and copied him with Minion Reflector, allowing him to go to the 'yard, only to get snagged by Mimic Vat, which in turn made a hasty token copy that could be infinitely large thanks to the Titan/Renewal combo! If he had had any cards in hand or any untapped mana, I probably wouldn't have attempted such convoluted schenanigans, but what a crazy way to give my general haste.
Oh, and my original post had 104 cards - I cut the targeted discard (Ravenous Rats/Chittering Rats/Abyssal Horror) because they draw a disproportional amount of hate for their effect in a multiplayer game. In a duel, they would absolutely be there. Also cut Kor Skyfisher because I've got quite a few recursion abilities and couldn't think of what else to cut.
Once again, looking for suggestions if anyone has a great idea for a CIP creature that I've neglected.
EDIT: Figured I'd add one more crazy play from my third game. One player entwined a Rude Awakening with Mirari's Wake on the board. He then proceeded to swing with 18 animated 3/3 lands against a mostly open board... until I used Quicksilver Amulet to drop Sunblast Angel. Man, I love this deck.
A prerelease has come and gone, and now it's time to figure out what to cut to make room for the new awesomeness that is Gatecrash. I'd like to add the following (as I acquire them): Luminate Primordial, Sepulchral Primordial, Obzedat, Ghost Council
So, any help choosing three slots to open up would be appreciated.
What's this???
A GCO deck that I missed? What's up, bro
I'm giving Sepulchral a test run right now, so far so good.
I know you're looking for cuts, not ideas to further complicate things, but....
Have you ever given Corpse Dance a shot? So strong I've had people look up the banned list, swearing it couldn't be legal. As long as you've got a sac outlet in play, it's amazing. And I've been having a lot of luck lately with Necromancy, as Sun Titan recurs it. I've got the freshly Gatecrash updated list in my sig if you're interested.
I'd probably look to some of the smaller/more conditional cards for cuts. Like Dark Hatchling, Hedge Mage, Lily's Specter.
Yeah, it seems I've been floating under the radar for a while with this deck. I have looked at yours a number of times. My only copy of Corpse Dance is in my Savra sac deck, where I'm almost guaranteed a sac outlet at any given moment.
I think you're right about Liliana's Specter - this isn't a discard-focused deck. And Gwyllion Hedge-Mage is less than impressive usually. Unfortunately, that means I'm cutting two low CMC cards for two higher ones. Dark Hatchling is a consideration, but I've never lacked for a target when I drew it.
What do you think about cutting Myojin of Night's Reach? It's powerful, sure, but it has to be bounced (not blinked) for reuse, it's really expensive, and once you land it, it pulls a lot of hate in your direction.

Yeah, extremely powerful card, but once you pop him, you had better be ready to finish the table off. Since, as you stated, it's not a discard control oriented deck, probably not a bad idea.
I think I've only had one game where the lifelink was relevant, but I've had several where the deathtouch was quite handy. I like it for it's rattlesnake effect - if I'm sitting there with a few creatures and enough mana, people who want to come after me frequently decide they're safer directing their attention elsewhere. Usually, I'm not even planning to activate it - I'll be saving the mana for Ghostway or Quicksilver Amulet or a creature with flash.
I actually opened Obzedat, Ghost Council in a prize pack but was blown away by how much he is going for, so I traded it away and will wait for it to drop before acquiring another.
Also, I have a small scattering of BW goodstuff to help the deck and was wondering what people thought of Treasury Thrull. I played one in the release draft, loved Extort, but never got to trigger his recursion because my opponent's blockers would have killed it, and it wasn't worth the trade. I'm debating adding it to this deck to see if I like it. I just wish it triggered on entering the battlefield.

My take on Thrull, he's not horrible, but no matter what you want him for, we've got much better options for the card slot. He's not a good blocker or beater, his recursion is slow and conditional on him attacking and to hand rather than to battlefield, he doesn't recur by Titan or Lark.
If his ability was etb/ltb or the recursion was to the battlefield, he would be way better.
I could see him fitting much better in a build that uses lots of haste, but even then, I'd probably have trouble replacing any number of stronger creatures with him.
I'm hoping for a really awesome extort creature in the next set.
Close. Neither one has an ability that puts it in the command zone. Both Councils have abilities that put them in the exile zone until a specified time. If one is your general, you could choose to move it to the command zone instead of exile, but then it would not return to the battlefield until you cast it again.
Oh - and the reason I kept the original as my general is I liked having the sac ability available.
