I like the way this deck is shaping up. I have a comment regarding spine of ish sah, did I spell that right? Well anyway I've run both spine and Karn liberated and Karn is just bounds and leaps better in my experience. It's particularly good here because you will have large blocking fliers to usually get at least two exiles out of it. And if there's no good targets on the board? You start eating away at people's hands. Yes spine can be abused with sac effects, but this is a 99 card format. You would need a whole lot of artifact sac effects to reliably abuse it.

Also I cannot tell you often Thunder Dragon has come in handy. Such a good dragon.
Here is what I was told for the Sundial:
Both answers are potentially correct. Delayed triggered abilities such as that created by Zirilan's ability can only trigger once, but the point at which they trigger is not locked in when they are created. This means that if Zirilan's ability resolves, and you then activate Sundial's ability before you reach your end step, the delayed triggered ability will still be waiting around for the next end step (since your turn never had one), and will trigger during your opponent's end step. However, if you wait until your own end step, let the ability trigger, then activate Sundial's ability with the delayed triggered ability on the stack, it will cease to exist. Since it has already triggered, it will not do so again, and you will get to hold onto the Dragon for good.
Yeah for thunder I will need to buy the FTV pack thing since otherwise hes a bit of a pain to find
For any new purchases it will have to wait to Sunday when I meet up with the other EDH players.
So stay tuned for changes this weekend! Planning on adding Karn and Spine for sure and buying the mana doublers and sac outlets.
May even try to find a beat up Gauntlet of Might for a lil cheaper
I think Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker is an absolute must. The possibility to pull out a Bogardan Hellkite and double him up to do 20 damage is pretty awesome. He also makes a target for removal as people rarely let him sit on the table. Some people may erroneously use a kill spell on him instead of Zirilian, not realizing how devastating the shaman can be on his own.
-Furyborn Hellkite (too slow, not a practical pre-combat fetch)
-Seer's Sundial (Costly)
-Expedition Map (Realized I didnt care to get Valakut that bad since I dont have a world gorger yet.)
-Elixir of Immortality (Realized id rather work with the other engines for recurssion/keeping dragons.)
-General's Kabuto (Cut for being the most costly protection for the general.)
-Ruby Medallion (Cut because id rather accelerate my mana then play it.)
-Chandra Nalaar (Meh. Was kind of a filler from the start.)
-Into the Core (Costly and my meta doesnt really bust out amazing artifacts everytime)
-Assault Strobe (Had to cut for actual creature doublers which I prefer, also the sorcery speed bugged me.)
+Greater Gargodon
+Hivis of the Scale
+Kiki-Jiki
+Minion Reflector
+Erratic Portal
+Spine of Ish Sah
+Sneak Attack
+Blasphemous Act
I didnt look through all of the posts but I had a few ideas for your decklist:
General's Kabuto -> Champion's Helm cheaper to cast, cheaper to equip. It also allows you to potentially pump creatures if you want or have multiple shroud equips. It feels just better in my mind. (Oops I must have been looking at your list between your post and the decklist changes.)
Shatter -> Shattering Pulse the pulse is Shatter with buyback. It seems like a strict upgrade to me.
High Market another sac outlet to drop your guys. This one taps for mana as well but it does less lifegain.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.

Got high market on the want list, just havent gotten around to looking for one :P.
For Shatter, I thought of it last weekend during a game and was in the middle of changing the want list for one. Yes I need it
I was looking through this for Ideas on my own list that I am building and I had a couple of thoughts: Dragon Mask could be used as an alternate sundial effect with flavor, I'm not 100% sure but I think it works because it triggers at the same time as the general's does although it might be a little clunky... Shattering Spree is bounds better than Shatter although it's a toss up between that and Shattering Pulse which was already recommended to you. Cauldron of Souls might be fun to playtest but again it's a little clunky since you need it and a sac outlet. also Skullclamp seems good since you are going to be sacrificing so much... And as a last note Terrain Generator might be good since you are running 27 basics, hope I helped a little, Cheers!

Yes the list was a bit out of date, I already put in the shattering pulse and high market as I mentioned I would.
Dragon Mask sounds pretty awesome if only because its perfectly on theme.Wish it would tuck it to the deck but still viable. Terrain Generator and Skullclamp are good possibilities as well. The cauldron is a bit too clunky for me but I will keep it in mind.
Changeling Berserker can be a nice way to protect your general, if someone tries to wipe or use spot removal on him you can tutor this up and have it champion him

The problem with this is generally his general will be utilized on his turn to swing in with dragons so he will be tapped down most of the time and removal effects will likely come down while he is summoning sickness or tapped down.
Also, interesting changes. I am always a bit afraid to cut into my ramp package. Cutting Mind's Eye also seems a bit surprising for a mono red deck.

Yes its to test for now, I have found that at the point where I can play Mind's eye I have too many other things to play. It will be for a testing period and I will see how much I feel I need card drawing.
My playgroup does not run that much land hate so overall manarocks are not as needed so I felt safe cutting the powerstone and a bit of the land fetch. I will be testing extensivly to see just how much I need.
Thanks for the comments guys. I am thinking of putting a bit more recursion in as last weekend I got a game that went on long enough that I ran out of dragons X_X. What do you guys prefer for recursion; Feldon's Cane or Elixir of Immortality.
PS: Its a good thing I refreshed before posting, ISB covered what I wanted to say about the changeling. Though I may still try it out as a way to save dragons as well.
Edit: No steel hellkite? That makes me

As for Karn ill have to test it out, I haven't played him much yet but it does seem this deck needs him more then most.

You cannot outrun the beast within.
Also knights vs Dragons had a thunder dragon in it, I think it sells for about $3, if you did not want to pay the $10 or so for the foil FTV one
RGW Rith, the Awakener
BRG Prossh, Skyraider of Kher
UBR Nicol Bolas
GWU Treva, the Renewer
RWU Numot, the Devastator
That is actually a pretty cool idea. I will test it out soon.
You cannot outrun the beast within.
- Flameblast Dragon
- Covetous Dragon
- Grafted Wargear
- Everflowing Chalice
+ Fire Dragon
+ Thunder Dragon
+ Fiery Bombardment
+ Gauntlet of Might
The deck has been play testing quite well in 1v1, still have not tested it in multiplayer much but the addition of Thunder dragon should help there.
