So, I'm trying to build an interactivity deck, with a pillowfort sub-theme. This entire project stems from Azor's Elocutors, a hilariously awful card that reminded me of Civilization's Cultural Victory. I want to build a deck that interacts with my opponents as much as possible, tapping down things in response to other things, detaining problem creatures, saving players, etc. I want a deck that can play politics as well as I can, while defending itself via pillowfort. For that, I'll need your help.
Step 1: Help me cut 17 cards from the deck. Step 2: Make suggestions for cards to replace other cards.

i would drop all the auras. they dont really interact as well as something in an EDH game ought to. also, Seedborn Muse
They shut down a general until the aura can be removed, or the general manages to make its way back into the command zone. Killing or Exiling a general just means it will come back soon enough.
Darksteel Reactor lets you try for a Scientific victory, too, especially if you go for more proliferation as KissMyAssassin suggests.
I definitely second Seedborn Muse, and also suggest Murkfiend Liege. Angus gets so much better when he starts every turn untapped. Spike Weaver is also a repeatable fog effect, and additionally has synergy with proliferate.
The smaller, one-shot detain effects like Azorius Arrester and Lyev Skyknight seem very underwhelming. Those are the first things I'd look at for cuts. Repeatable effects like the Guildmage and Martial Law are far more effective.
