Obvious Subtle Wizard Theme, trick is to play niv the turn your going to combo out,
Here is how i win:
Niv to draw all but 2 cards in my deck, if that doesnt kill them, play all artifact accelerates, play Inner Fire. Have about 65 R in mana pool. Play Nucklavee to get it back. Play it with Reiterate 10ish times. 650 Red mana in the pool. Play liches mirror and earthquake FTW. Also Kiki-Pestermite combo for backup.
Spellshift and Eye of the Storm let you play all your instants and sorceries squared. It's not quite infinite, but if all of them turn out to be card draw, you'll be doing a lot of damage with Niv out.
@Nightarcher: Hes a WIZARD! Taps to draw and also early game he is very useful. Also for some strange reason i have a foil chinese one so i am imclined to play it haha. very easily cutable thought.

Anyhoo, i like the Puzzl Box esque cards like the Whirlpool Warrior. (Seems really good with thought reflecton =p). What cards can i cut to squeeze those guys in?
But yeah, Red Elemental Blast might get the axe, um.....
Rite of Flame! I can't see any conceivable reason to keep it in, it's not like you're running it alongside Djinn Illuminatus or something. You might consider the lotus petal too, but that can be alittle more useful, and worst case scenario, it's something to sac to Tinker.
Ok. I had those in so if my niv eye combo doesn't kill all other players with those mana accelers you can play inner fire and see the OP for the wincon. If that's over complicated then I can cut it.
Im not seeing it with dagger. Usually i am never playing niv until the turn i combo out
EG: I play niv, they counter. REB. They terror him. I respond ophidian eye and draw a card through mindstone or something else and combo out. Plus getting 2 for oned and general death is very hard to recover from in a combo deck like this one.
Multiplayer. Generally turn 5-15. You keep a really low profile until you have enough mana, counterbackup and cards to combo off. Also the Kiki-Jiki combo can be online as early as turn 3.
In 1v1, Unfourtuantly, since ATM my build packs no sort of removal and not enough counters to be effiecnt, when fight combo or aggro (Rhys the Redeemed, Doran, Rafiq, ECT) i need to race them to the combo or die. And against counterspells (Dralnu and such) I just die.
I like teferi and the free counters. I'll see what I can do. As for earthquake in 10+ player mutiplayer having a global effect is important and sometimes we play where you can only tagret specefic pol but global effects hit everyone so earthquake works.
But if they are going to respond then they do it beforehand and you get 2 for 1ed and if they dont have removal you win anyway. It might be good on other creatures though
I'd go with more protection. What about Pact of Negation? Nice combo protection. Braids looks bad. I feel like other decks run bigger stuff then you. U and R aren't really known for its powerful fatties. Meanwhile, some other decks will run fatties galor that tney'll love getting for free. What about Counterspell? In general, I'd go for a more controlling approach. If your aim is to combo out, then i think a pretty controlling UR deck would work well, stopping them from doing much til you drop the combo and kill. What about Gamble? Its a bad tutor yes, but if you have 3-5 other cards in your hand, decent chance the curiosity/eye won't get hit. And it looks like your in fair need of tutors.
Oh and I'd go for some Control Magic effects. In EDH their really good, because people play such powerful things. Its great being able to steal the best creature, great way to stall.

Whirlpool Warrior comes to mind. And who doesn't love Time Spiral

I'd also go for the Mana Flare + Palinchron + random X spell combo.
