I am sorry.... I just cant see briliance in the list if that is the way to victory.... sure it is overcomplicated but I hope there is more than that to the list.
Of course there is more to it; there has to be for the transition to multiplayer EDH. The main combo only works to kill one player; once that player is dead and you regain control of Jackal Pup (or Filthy Cur), then you Worldpurge and start over on Player B, who of course will be paralyzed with fright. Player C will undoubtedly read the writing on the wall, so you can Slaver lock him until it's his turn to die.

Tabernacle seems anti-synergistic, since they can just not pay the upkeep on Jackal Pup. Unless that's what Indestructibility is for?
Now you're thinking. Tabernacle combos with Gaea's Cradle to keep opponent's creatures at bay while not hurting you at all.
D0su this is the craziest deck I have seen from you in a while but I literally cannot make heads or tales from it. At first I thought well I see Hermit Druid and no basics so it has to be a hermit combo... then I checked your list and while I am not the most familiar with hermit combo it doesnt appear to be that... then I think oh well he has all this donate crap mabe it has some sort of magical donation tech ftw but I cant find anything along the lines there... then there is this random planeswalking tech stuff.... I dont even know what that is doing...
Would it not be a good trade to take Muzzle and turn it into Temporal Isolation due to the flash on it plus the fact that then they cannot block with the creature?
Alternatively, you could enchant Jackal Pup with Indestructibility, then cast Copy Enchantment (copying Indestructibility) and enchant Indestructibility. Then, Aura Graft the first Indestructibility and move it to the second Indestructibility. Now you have two indestructible Indestructibility auras enchanting each other, which will surely force some kind of concession.
Wow!!! It's really scary. If you really win with this strategie I will be the first guys to laugh. I have kill a lot of people with a lot of freak strategie or combo. But this one... It's just insane.
I will do a Zedruu the Greathearted deck only for playing Jackal Pup the greatest combo.
The color fit for the card, Zedruu will give me the card advantage and life for setting the board.
Hey Infect can short the game. The problem was you need to give infect to Jackal Pup...
Equipment Grafted Exoskeleton on Jackal Pup before giving it to someone.
You can use the ability Fight to deal damage to Jackal Pup without forcing it to attack.
Or you can force each creature or only Jackal Pup to attack each turn, the problem was he have to attack you. Master Warcraft solve the problem.
With all that you have a big advantage and you have different technique to win.
I think i found my Zedruu deck. I love killing my opponents with some crazy strategies sometime complicated and this one was really a challenge.
Thx for the idea but just by curiousity how did you found this deck...
So, just to make sure I got the ruling right: They have to target the Mossdog, even if they don't want the ability to actually go off due to the linked ruling?
So, for example, in a similar situation, instead of Mossdog you had something that blew up when targeted (pretend it has Spinal Graft on after the Flag?), and it was the only legal target, it would blow up even though they didn't go through with the ability?
Yes, because it was targeted. Spinal Graft (and Mossdog) only cares that it was a target or something, not that the ability actually does anything.
Farrel's Mantle gives the Jackal Pup an ability on attack. This ability will trigger, and be placed on the stack. When the ability is placed on the stack, a target must be chosen for each instance of the word target in the ability. Due to Coalition Flag the Mossdog is the only legal target, so they must choose it.
When the ability resolves is when the 'may' takes effect. Essentially, they get a choice as to what the ability does. They don't get a choice about putting it on the stack.
My avatar shows the feeling I got when I saw the list.
d0su..... why didnt you play this deck at SCG. You could of easily won...... and if you needed a Tabernacle, there was one floating in my land deck that I brought (sadly 85 cards.... really need those ABU duals)
Can we just sticky this as an example of what happens when d0su has too much free time to spare.
To finish my cycle of "bumping every one of d0su's threads, I was just curious as to how feasible this deck is. Has anyone actually tried putting it together and playing with it, or is it more of just something people have looked at. I want to try it out sometime just for kicks, but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't too crazy for doing so (too crazy being relative to the amount of crazy it took to build this monster ).
I have built this on Trice and it's ridiculous, the problem of course is people randomly nuking your stuff not understanding the true art of it all. People understandably get a trifle nervous when you, tutor 3 turns in a row (Idyllic, Grim & Imperial) and then play stuff like Jackal Pup, Muzzle and Mossdog - they suspect the truth - (you are playing an overpowered dog theme!).
Just play it off, growl under your breath at them and grin.
I would love to see the full list as the list on the front page is only 96ish? I added some other "stuffs" and just went that way.
By the way, I have not been successful with the deck in 2 tries :(.
Of course this deck is feasible. If it costs this much money, how could it ever lose? Even variance itself is a positive 90%-10% matchup for this deck. I can say with complete honesty that I've never lost a game with it. It must be pilot error, or as you said, the unappreciative degenerates of the internet that soil its reputation. They didn't deserve to see the combo anyway.
Cannot compute... For some reason I get the urge to play ChronoTrigger now...

Hermit Druid is a counter to Acquire for Obelisk of Undoing, which would otherwise surely ruin your day. And Jace the Mindsculptor, better than all.
Good idea.
Temporal Isolation, I like it.
Bazaar of Baghdad seems like it would be a good fit in here. I'll have to find room for all these cards later; the list is just so tight!
