I would like to keep the general theme of ramping up into a huge Genesis War or piling counters on Helix Pinnacle. Shield of Kaldra is also one of those protection equipments. You are essentially a Voltron deck when running Omnath, though it isn't uncommon to see aggro as well.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's a Voltron deck that gets much stronger the more you ramp. I'm missing a lot of useful Voltron cards so I'm very thankful for all the suggestions.
With that in mind, from the games I've played so far I've realized that Omnath gets huge quite easily but he often gets chumped. What are some good ways to give him evasion? Trample would probably be the best but Flying is good too. I was thinking about Trailblazer's Boots for nonbasic landwalk since most decks run several nonbasics.

As for the other cards suggested: Champion's Helm: I feel like the cost is to high for what it does, it might be okay though with the ammount of mana I can generate. Shield of Kaldra: Once again high cost, but might work. Heartbeat of Spring: I hate that this helps all my opponents since I should already have a mana advantage. Extraplanar Lens: Definitely want to add when I can get my hands on one. Mana Reflection: Same as Extraplanar Lens.
I'm sure there are other things I could do. The deck needs more threats to keep pace with stuff like Rafiq, Endrek Sahr, Scion of the Ur-Dragon, and Experiment Kraj.
Not a "necessity" but aluren should be considered. Stops you from losing all the mana if Omnath gets killed/removed from play. Just pay the additional mana to play him from the command zone at instant speed

That's awesome! I never thought of using Aluren with Omnath. It's too bad all of your opponents get to use it, but I think it's worth it. What do you think about including Vedalken Orrery as well?

You might wanna try out Winding Canyons, its pretty good for replaying Omnath. You'll lose some mana you are floating with its activation cost, but at least you don't loose all of it.
