The decks are intended to be played together, using and abusing each other. I choose the commander(s) originally as a theme and evolved that theme to fight competitively. They're obviously not truely competitve decks because they intentionally team up before the game has even started but they aren't over powered due to
Their color
Their general
The direct hate they'll receive
I've had people tell me they'd love to see these decks built, and some have said they look forward to it as a challenge. I've actually had the base list finished for months now and just found the time to add some finishing tweaks to it. For a long time I was debating between two decks that each did something different but currently have finished here.
I've since removed the "Added and Removed" list and revised how the deck is organized. This is the most updated list. I would appreciate any advice. If you bring up a card I've used and removed, I'll explain why I removed it and I'd be VERY happy to discuss it further with you in this thread.
The deck's first initial flight operated VERY well. Clearly these decks are designed for 5 player games or larger though. At 4 players or less, it's not even fair. But I've noticed that if the primary threatening brother is killed, the secondary brother can't really do too much from that point on. Although when he's left afloat, people tend to kill him out of spite, despite how derelict he is.
I also play Weiss Schwarz, Chaos, Vanguard and Wixoss.
Weiss Schwarz Sets
Accel World, Angel Beats, Familiar of Zero, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, Guilty Crown, Kill La Kill, Robotics;Notes, Sword Art Online.
Chaos Partners
Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Iona, Kirishima, Kongou.
Dangan Ronpa: Asahina, Togami.
Freezing: Vibration: Chiffon, Satelizer.
Vanguard Clans Favoured
Angel Feather, Dark Irregulars, Genesis, Neonecter, Pale Moon, Shadow Paladins, Tachikaze.
Godo is helpful but I was considering cutting some equipments (especially Ice fire due to $cost$). The general will likely only be cast if I have the extra mana available to just pop him out.
I took your advice on Viashino Heretic and added one more card. I looked over some cards I might have over looked and came up with a list that I'd like to add in but I'm not sure if they're good enough or make the cut and what I'd take out for them.
Added 4 cards from the list. Godo still isn't in because I've cut down on 1 equipment and the "Swords of..." are down to 1. Heartless seems kinda good. Am I right in thinking so?
Imperial Recruiter is just a thought. He'll probably get deleted from this post. I just need to look over my 2 CC or less creatures before I do.
There are 3 creatures I can tutor Soldevi Sentry Bazaar Trader Varchild's War-Riders
and Ashling the Pilgrim
is on the questionable list. All of them aren't bad tutors but only [CARD]Bazaar
Trader[/CARD] is "essnetial" to any strategy in the deck. What do you all think? I think he's on the back burner till I can hash out my current list. $210.62. Forget any reasoning I had previously mentioned for not running him and replace it with this.
I also need to figure out my CMC of the entire deck to help decide cuts and keeps.
Actually, this kind of general was discussed in this thread. For the sake of brevity, it was discussed that both Brothers Yamazaki could be the general for a single deck, with general taxing applied individually to each Brother, but general damage being combined. Make the deck either 98/99, up to you. Really, I can't imagine anybody preventing the arguably weakest color in EDH from creating such a novel deck.
As for the deck, double damage, like Furnace of Rath or Gratuitous Violence, and double attack phases via Savage Beating or Godo (which should be an autoinclude in this deck) will help you get there faster. Godo can even fetch up Konda's Banner which will pump both guys up when they're out.
Actually, this kind of general was discussed in this thread...
But this isn't the same thing at all. Their deck "cheated" the rules by using two generals in one deck for flavor. My deck is two decks, identical in list and instead of breaking the rules, they abuse them.

Double damage is great but not as improtant since I'm not using two Brothers Yamazaki in the same deck. I actually don't intent on casting my Brother unless there's nothing better to do than cast him or there's some advantage to him being in play (strategy with my other brother maybe?)
I don't think you understand. This deck isn't to be piloted by one person. This is two decks, two players intended for medium to larger multiplayer games.
These numbers lead me to believe I could or should cut 1 land and some mana stones. Although a lot of mana is needed to "upkeep" in play effects. I'll look to testing this deck on proxies (for what I don't own) in the near future. My laptop's graphic card failed recently so "that's all she wrote" for it, which'll keep me from testing online for a few days and keep me from updating this thread frequently at work.
I got a flipping sweet new computer! Also, bump. I really need to look up the rules for bumping your own thread.
EDIT
Well the rules for "double posting" are ambiguously clear. Thou shall not double post, unless a reasonable amount of time has passed and/or the second post is a productive post that offers a more to the conversation.
As for "bumping", if it's solely to bump and not contributing, then it's a violation (which I believe I've committed).
I've tried in the previous "bump" to add more information for discussion and I'll continue from here on out to do the same (notice how I'm editing my older post instead of posting a new one).
I've started collecting parts for this deck that I see on sale or cheap here and there. I'll start making acetone proxies for cards that are shared between decks and rushed proxies for cards that won't be shared so I can IRL test it. I guess my next "bump" will be in a few days and will include images of my acetone proxies because I think they're unique and haven't seen anyone else make anything like it before.
So the time has come. The deck is relatively cheap, tests are commencing with a friend who's off for christmas and the list is about to be updated with costly cards over looked that aren't too bad now, missed cards or Innistrad cards.
This is a little bump to flush new advice into it. Any and all is appreciated. The current total cost of the deck is about $180 for both (not including the cards I already own, which isn't too bad for 2 decks.
I put a pair of brothers yamazaki in my brothers' stocking this year (found them at our lgs (A and B artwork even) after talking about the idea). I'm not sure we will ever make the decks, but we were considering it for two headed edh. I haven't actually tried two headed edh, but that seems where the two excel. Teaming up pre game could be funny once or twice, but I would seriously politic other players against the brothers (provided its a 4+ player game, if its just 2v3 I'd be tempted to just not play...). My dream turn would be to go on the play and both go sol ring into simian spirit guide into both brothers yamazaki and swinging for 8 turn 1. Hehe,.
This became relevant in some tests the other day. I need to look into if the general damage is taken as "when [THIS CARD] deals you 21..." or if it's "when [CARD NAME] deals you 21..."
Specifically, is each brother dealing its own individual line of 21 general damage or are the two brothers adding to the total. I'd think it's the prior because that's just how magic usually is but I'll check the MCR and the official site rules later before I ask the RULES Q&A section.
Also, I don't have the time to do it now but, I've made some radical changes to the deck. I'll update it soon.
I've been wanting to do this for a while, much applause to you.
Have you considered Ghitu War Cry, Captive Flame for these decks? Helping each other firebreate can be an effective mana dump.
Well, thank you very much. As for your suggestions, I'll take it under consideration but with how limited the creatures are in this deck, I don't see it as a good idea to have mobile fire breathing. I've made a LOT of revisions to many of my decks because of how poor specific cards are in most situations.
Most of what you'll see in EDH is "luck of the draw" cards if you can't effectively tutor or draw mass amounts so, expanding the effectiveness of each draw has become a larger and larger goal when trimming decks or considering cards.

Wixoss - Just trial decks for now!
Coolest. Idea. Ever.
Also, I second Godo for your deck - strata scythe might go well with it too. Anyway, have you considered Gorilla Shaman or Viashino Heretic for your removal package? Avalanche Riders is quite efficient too, and Vicious Shadows just punishes removal spells.
