Looking for input for this Animar deck I built recently. The main focus of it is to use Animar's Creature cost discount to do several things:
Get infinite mana with Palinchron or Cloudstone combo with "untap lands" creatures, use it to cast fatties or a large genesis wave.
Cast guys for next to free (or morph guys, artifacts for free), continue to draw cards with packleader, primordial sage, glimpse of nature, greater good, etc.
Deciever exarch/pestermite plus kiki-jiki to use "splinter twin" style combo. Not running splinter twin because i have found it to usually be a dead card, or i get 2-for-1'd.
So there's a decent number of good combos and some really good creatures, but I feel like the deck relies on animar too much. That has not been a problem, since i have 7 cards dedicated to protecting him either through hexproof or regenerate... however I have had one game where he was tucked and I spent the rest of the game sitting around and occasionally casting a fattie, which got killed.
Usually, I do not play animar until i have the necesarry protection for him, and then he sticks on the field pretty easily, even through most wipes.
It's a very fun deck, you can easily cast 10+ creatures in a turn and still have a big hand left over. If one of them is urabrask, then it's generally game over.
