Probably my favorite deck, centered around my favorite theme!
This deck is all about throwing Dargons in the yard and then bringing them back scary and undead like. It competes very well in multiplayer, ive had lots of success with it. Originally i ran a Scion deck but my meta felt he was a little OP, as did i.
This deck is pretty refined but i'm always looking for more advice. This is also my pimp deck. So working on filling it with foils, promo's, and special editions.
"wrath" cards not included: I have purposefully not included Damnation, Decree of Pain because my meta is overwhelmed with wrath, and it's better for me to include post wrath survival.
Usefull Card breakdown (for the non self explanatory ones): Buried Alive - Gets Anger, and 2 dragons in the yard ready for reanimation Corpse Connoisseur - another way to get into the yard Cauldron Dance - An AMAZING reanimation trick Elixer of Immortality - Because this deck is prone to Bojouka Bog etc, reshuffling the yard is better than losing it to RFG. Jalum Tome - Draw a Dargon, Discard a Dargon Demonic Collusion - Tutor, + discard two dragons to the yard? OK! Cabal Conditioning - Can cripple opponents if allowed to be cast. Promise of Power - Purely for Card Draw Lightning Axe - Discard a dragon, destroy a baneslayer angel. where's your protection from Dragons now? Assault Strobe - Potentially lethal when paired with Dragon Tyrant or Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, especially if... Crucible of Fire - is in play. This just makes everything hurt more, and most people won't spend a removal to respond to it. Sarkhan the Mad - really just drop him after a Patriarch's Bidding or Twilight's Call to use his ultimate ability. he has optional usage for his first ability in a bind. Chandra Ablaze - Discard a red dragon, spew 4 damage. Seems good. Bladewing's Thrall - Remarkably useful, it adds a little bit of tech upon each reanimation with out having to target it. A blocker at the least. Where Ancient's Tread - Get this out early, and it can do some serious damage. Tenza, Godo's Maul - This is a little bit of nice tech with some creatures in the deck, i'm not bent on keeping it, but if anything it always works on the General.
A note about Dual Lands: Yeah i know i don't have the best dual lands, so you don't have to worry about suggesting them. It's inherent that as i acquire better lands some of the bad ones will get replaced.
I'm always looking for cards that make this deck better and fit it's theme!
I'm also considering going Green purely because of Fauna Shaman...So this deck could turn into Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund... But right now i dont have enough dual land in green, or enough proper accel to make it work. And because Bladewing the Risen is part of the heart of my reanimation of my deck, the reliability of the deck will go down if i lose the ability to use him goes down.

I think you need to reread ashes. It only affects creatures, so it's pretty useless here.
For cards to add, Steel Hellkite out of Scars is great. You might also consider some other reanimation stuff such as Living Death, Exhume, or Reanimate. Voyager Staff can give you another Bladewing etb trigger, but that might be too narrow without some way of recurring it.

Interesting idea, i think the only thing it would do for this deck is allow me to use him to bring back non-dragon creatures. This actually hurts the deck because Anger would come back from Patriarch's Bidding, eliminating haste from my non-hasted dragons.

I've got a Steel Hellkite maybe i'll swap out the Flameblast Dragon for it. I do like more reanimation but what to cut for it?
Voyager staff is interesting indeed, i wouldn't mind running if it wasn't a one time shot.

You would need a clone to combo with ashes of the risen and the general... unfortunately he can't cast it.
If you switch to Karrthus, you have access to all of the green ramp spells and creatures (primeval titan, cultivate, kodama's reach, skyshroud claim, explosive vegetation, birds of paradize, bloom tender, etc.), cool stuff like Tooth and Nail, and also to a lot of removal that I imagine will come in handy given my experience before I added removal to my Karrthus (those artifact heavy decks were killing me and I'm sure you'd have the same problems).
Regardless, consider Deathrender, making players even less willing to kill your creatures.

Yeah i mean if i switch into green for Karthus i think i'm going to have to step away from the reanimator deck. And it'll be another dragon ramp deck. If there was a way to keep it a bit unique i would do that. Dragonspeaker Shaman, those artifact mana excel, etc. will all have to go in to make it work.
I do like Deathrender, that's very interesting. I will need to try this guy out. Thanks!

The only way to get a "clone" engine going with Bladewing in B/R is to use Changeling Berserker with a sacrifice outlet. You get the Berserker in the graveyard somehow (like not championing and sacrificing instead...) and then play Bladewing. Bladewing will return the Berserker to play, use the champion trigger to exile Bladewing, and then sacrifice the Berserker. The Berserker is in the graveyard and Bladewing is coming into play, right back where you started.

The biggest question is whether or not you want to go to great lengths to set this up, or merely have it there for when you randomly assemble it.
This deck works at reanimating dragons regularly because of constant "Loot" effects. Drawing dragons and discarding them. My Tutor backbone isn't really strong enough.
To set this combo off i'de have to find Burred Alive (or Corpse Connoiseur and prey) which i already do ASAP anyway.. that's fine. Then tutor for the sac outlet or tutor for the dragon...for the sac outlet. This COULD be easy with Demonic Collusion, if my hand has enough dragons or worthy souls to discard, but i'm not sure if i have the right consistency.
This deck used to be a 60 card casual, and it ran yard-inducing combos like the Worldgorger Dragon infinite combo. When i switched over to EDH, i found that fetching cards to put in the yard was difficult. It was easy in 60 card deck with 4 Burried Alives and 4 Entombs. Now, i'm not sure i'de want to target the Changeling Berserker with Burried Alive early game if it came to it. Getting Anger and a big beefy dragon is so much more tempting. Then there are a lot of ETB triggers that people can respond to on this. I think i would need good incentive to fetch into this combo, i have to find the right sac outlet.
I have enough card tutor to find the sac outlet though... This would be a lot easier if i turned this deck into Karrthus. Survival of the Fittest and Fauna Shaman would make this a lot easier.
The main reason Hoarding Dragon isn't in this deck is he's just a shallow hitter. But he could easily be swapped with Two-headed dragon to try this out.

My bad about the Where Ancients Tread. I've comboed with Bladewing some many times, his P/T never really registered. Oops.
I could see dropping Rorix. From what I see, you are almost always going to get Anger for hasting whatever you reanimate, so his haste becomes redundant. Unless you are particularly attached to him, he seems like an easy drop.
Like I said above, the question is if just want the combo there, or if you want to actively persue it each game. If you want the latter, you are going to need to add more cards that trigger with creatures leaving (Vicious Shadows) and more than one sac outlet. The amount of tutors you have would make it seem that you can get the combo without too much effort, but redundancy in parts has its rewards sometimes. Something to ponder on I guess.
I could see this combo being a center for the deck, but making it would take this deck in a direction i don't think i want to go. This is more of a little timmy deck for me.The reason i got rid of my Scion deck was because i painted a big bulls eye on my forehead with it. i can see this doing the same way. I prefer a more subtle, do my thing, and then near the end of the game, bam resurge with a ☺☺☺☺ load of dragons
But it's tempting! maybe i'll make a 2nd deck to try this out, it looks like a lot of fun.

Sorry if this is slightly off topic...can bladewing the risen pull a non creature dragon out of the graveyard? I'm only asking about an enchantment with dragon in the name...since it doesn't specifically say creature

Mimic Vat could be interesting here, too.
Glissa, the Traitor, Ulasht, the Hate Seed, The Mimeoplasm
The Where Ancients Tread you have provides useful damage with both creatures since they both trigger it. Beyond that, you need a method of sacrificing the Berserker. Goblin Bombardment works well. I would suggest either Blasting Station or Altar of Dementia instead though. They are both nicely fetchable with the on theme Hoarding Dragon.
The biggest question is whether or not you want to go to great lengths to set this up, or merely have it there for when you randomly assemble it.
