There is a 1 on 1 event I'm designing my commander for. They didn't want to go with the full french ban list so instead they are using the traditional ban list and adding the turn 1 mana rocks. I am instead using the signets in the place of Mana crypt Mana Vault and Sol Ring. I focused my counters on non creature as I felt I had enough kill for their creatures.
I read through the french primer and took it as a starting point. Sadly since it was banned as a commander there havent been andy updates to it. I'd like your guys thoughts as I practice this deck. Thanks!!
It is 40 life. My initial tests show that games go long and I have the be very pro active with the disruption. My favorite move so far was using disallow to counter Ulamog's cast ability and then using reality shift on him.
I've ordered the toxic deluge, expertise, languish, and I have life from the loam. I didn't think about the lock. It seems pretty sweet. I've also ordered the oath of druids.
I have a Liliana of the Veil coming as well. My main win con currently is Commander damage or an ultimate on a Planeswalker.
