MTG Salvation

I recently put together this aggro based sliver deck, and wanted to get the opinions and advice of people who might know more about the game than I do.

The idea of this deck is to swarm the field with slivers in the first 4 turns. Then on turn 5 cast my general Sliver Legion and swing for massive and possibly game winning damage. I've won several games using this tactic, especially if I use a tutor spell to grab the right sliver card to give me and edge. E.g. Heart Sliver to give my slivers haste.

The problem I have, is while I can consistently cast sliver legion on turn 5, I sometimes end up either a turn to slow, or I don't have enough slivers on the field to deal game winning damage. Anyone have some advice on how I can make this deck a little more competitive?

Now I already know some people are gonna tell me to use Sliver Overlord as my general instead, but I have tried that, and he is better for a combo deck, not an aggro deck. Why would I cast Overlord on turn 5, tutor for Legion turn 6, and then cast it on turn 7 when I can just cast it on turn 5?

Anyway, here is the deck, please if you have any ideas, share them with me.

Why not replace Fires of Yavimaya with Blur Sliver? Also, you're running Venom Sliver, so maybe Thorncaster Sliver too? If sheer damage is your problem, then Magma Sliver is a good option. I think I would cut Crucible of Worlds. Reusing fetchlands is cool, but your mana base seems good enough that you might not really need it.

You should also run some more sources of card draw, like Synapse Sliver, especially since you're running Aluren.
