Hey, welcome to the format! Which banlist are you planning to use? The absolute minimum land count I'd recommend would be 36 lands if your deck runs green, 37 if your deck doesn't. Nothing worse than being out of a game because you are mana screwed.
I have no idea about the banlist! I just looked on the wizards banlist that was quite short and there were only 3 that I couldn't use like balance and protean hulk (which I thought strange).
I'm trying to get my cards down to accept 37 land. Did you see the artifact land gen?

Personally, I don't allow artifact ramp to replace lands in my decks. If I don't need the ramp, then I take them out. I never consider them to take up a land slot, but some people do so ymmv.

Removing the Circle of Protections are a good starting point. Since you're posting in the 1v1 section, a simple Nevermore on your opponent's general would be better.
Edit: There are two primary banlists for EDH, the multiplayer banlist(which is widely known), and the Duel-Commander banlist (designed for 1v1 tournament play).
Since you're using Teysa as your general, I would suggest the following cards that I think might have good interaction with her and the rest of your cards:
Blood Artist - Pings your opponent for each creature that dies. Falkenrath Noble is another suggestion. Dictate of Erebos - Grave Pact would be the other option; This essentially turns your creatures into removal spells (well they have to die first) and could set-up a lot of 2-for-1s especially if you have a sacrifice outlet. Butcher of Malakir is another option. Nantuko Husk - Sacrifice Outlet Viscera Seer - Another sacrifice outlet Abhorrent Overlord - Creates tokens for more fodder; Really big fatty, too. Immortal Servitude - Lets you reuse creatures that you sacrifice. Shriekmaw - All around solid card. Nekrataal is another option and so is Fleshbag Marauder.
Token producers like Cloudgoat Ranger , Geist-Honored Monk
Thanks for the suggestions! I definitely wouldn't mind a blood artist. I have a couple ways to get cards back from graveyard but not directly to the field. Those Titan's look beautiful @_@

No, your hand size is still 7. But mulligans are different. If you use the multiplayer rules, you start by putting X cards from your hand away, then draw X. So the first mulligan is free. You may keep doing this as many times as you wish, but each additional time you will have to give up a card for each mulligan before.
In Duel-Commander you don't get a free first mulligan, but you also don't get penalized for multiple mulligans. It's always X-1.
Here is an example to help clarify:
Multiplayer mulligan-
Starting hand of 7.
1st mulligan 5 cards- still get 7 cards in opener
2nd mulligan 5 again- 6 cards in opener
3rd mulligan 5 again- 4 cards in opener
Duel-Commander mulligan-
Starting hand of 7.
1st mulligan 5 cards- down to 6 cards in opener
2nd mulligan 5 again - down to 5 in opener
3rd mulligan 5 again- down to 4 in opener
that's wild though you can pick a card to exile and draw another. Maybe I'm missing something though because how do you redraw x-1 if you are exiling one for drawing one? Wouldn't you need to exile 2 and draw one?
I've always been under the impression that the first exile-draw is a freebie. But it's all so complicated! Let's just use conventional mulligans so as to 1) Not favour combo decks, and 2) So everything isn't "keep plains, land tax, then five good cards".

Oh man!!! I hadn't thought of Darkest hour and I passed it up in the unsorteed box 3 days ago!!!!! DANGIt!!!!!!! ah!!!!!!! But wait...wouldn't I lose her ability to remove creatures? I use that a LOT especially if I manage to get skeletal vampire out. But I guess that's circumstance. I'm finding I really enjoy commander. A lot. I wish my friends did... I wish I had friends that played =(
Also on shuffling. Any other ideas? If I break it into two then shuffle those two I'm not getting interaction between the two halves AND the last shuffle is intense.
OK, how the heck do you guys shuffle your decks? They're so huge in sleeves @_@
I usually take 2 thirds of the deck (a little over half) and shuffle that, then swap half of that pile with the remaining pile and shuffle that bunch. I repeat until I'm satisfied. You'll be shuffling roughly 60-70 cards at a time if you do it right, and that's quite manageable.

Are there other things like pegasus mesa though to help pump out white or black tokens? I really like Grave Titan and Oborrent Overlord like TOttytot pointed out, but what about things that are enchantments that keep pumping things out like breeding pit They're colorless and would work with Darkest Hour so I'd be relying on that one card that I MIGHT be able to tutor. Thoughts?
I built another Commander deck using Johan but it's really terrible. I mean...no yea it loses to This Teysa deck every game. I should've done sol'kanar swamp king but there's only so much black to go around! I think I'm gonna go for it anyway because I have tons of blue and red...well I don't know I'll make another post for it.

I would definitely recommend you cutting the CoPs. If you want protection, Story Circle and Ghostly Prison are pretty good options.
To fix your manabase, you can try utilizing Vivid Lands, Orzhov Guildgate and Tainted Field.

Also I think I've got a pretty solid Teysa deck going so far. I added a diabolic tutor I found in the unsorted box at my local place and a few others like scholar of athreos, vizkopa guildmage, requiem angel is AWESOME with teysa. eater of hope, elgaud inquisitor,falkenrath noble, and fiend hunter have all helped out in their own ways. Feels a lot stronger.
