Someone pointed out that the results we're getting aren't all the 5-0's there is. They are randomly chosen so there's a possibility there are already 5-0 Oloros and we just didn't hear about.
EDIT: I'm rewatching The Wire so all this 5-0 talk is kinda making me giggle.
Exactly this. We don't get perfect knowledge of all 5-0's and it can be misleading. In addition, it doesn't tell you how many times someone tried. Say 1 person got 2 5-0's on the day with a list. Great news for them right? What if they had played 10 leagues to get those results? We unfortunately don't get to see all the results. This tends to happen with popular decks as well. If 100 people are playing Deck A and 7 of them make 5-0 but only 4 people played deck B but 2 of them made 5-0, it's going to warp you perception on how good deck A is. Those are extremes ofcourse.
Another thing to bear in mind with MTGO is that metagames with a lot of solid decks or options can drastically vary the competition level of someone's given league results. Best example is Modern. It seems that every time I queue up for a league I face maybe 1 real tier 1 deck out of 5 matches. The rest are tier 2 or brews. However when I go to 2 man queues, it's a much better ratio. Again, not hard science but just something to keep in mind (as I feel DC can be a lot like Modern in terms of matchup variance if it picks up steam. Tons of preferences and options folks will do or try over something like Standard which is pick deck "A" because it's the best and just grind a million matchups with it).
My only real concern is if Living Death works with commanders now. I remember last time I played commander on MTGO (admittedly been years) that if you cast Living Death with your commander in your GY, it will be permanently exiled on accident rather than coming back into play from exile.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
@Exatraz Every time your commander changes zones, you may chose to put it into the command zone instead.
@Teysa_Karlov Playing Zur's Weirding when you don't have the biggest clock on the table is bad. It's like playing Standstill when only your opponent has creatures. Weirding doesn't stop commanders from getting into play so usually you're behind because they can cast a cheap creature and keep punching your face.

I get that, I'm not saying putting into the command zone. What would happen is it would ask "Would you like to move [Commander] to the command zone?" You'd click no and then Living Death would finish resolving and your commander would be stuck in exile with you being unable to cast it.

Why do you think that'd happen? That was never an issue.
EDIT: oh I get you meant it was an MTGO bug. Yeah, MTGO bugs still happen so I have no idea if Living Death is working wrong or not.

Yeah it was a total bug and was very disappointing too since my 2 commanders at the time had serious bugs that really made them less playable (Savra and Norin... Norin would leave play and never come back)
@avasatu I thought you were actually asking for an opinion on personal experience and word of mouth reporting since MTGO results are all over the place for you to consult. I don't get and don't deserve your sarcasm.
And did it make any difference for your matches? I believe you can have a few dead slots against aggro decks to improve your control matchups. If not, there are always less narrow choices like Divert, Dispel and Disrupt.

I'm not going to let anyone forget how much absolutely unfounded complaining about Oloro there was.

Thanks for your opinion, just wanted a binary answer

Granted, this is DC, but it's the most recent topping Baral list. In 30 life it's certainly much less good.
Everyone already posted this here, but here you go again: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/metagame/commander_1v1#online
I have no idea why Vial (or any R deck) players are still not packing REB/Pyro.
I did this and faced Zurgo, Nissa and Titania
MtgTop8 is great for DC but has little to no value for 1v1 MTGO commander.
This is for MTGO 1v1
