Things like crop rotation getting ugin of sanctum or cavern of souls make it real tough for the blue decks, if you stumble once its completely over, and their commander's cant ever resolve Azusa and nissa which are huge threats. I've played against maindeck choke and carpet as well.
Dunno about laggy but my client is crashing alot, like at least once per game and it takes nearly 5 minutes to reconnect properly.
Also some guy netdecks my day 1 Jace list on wizards daily decks and ignores me in-game when I ask him how he likes the deck so far...adding injury to insult he takes so long that he only manages to win with 20 seconds on the clock. His deck is even featured on today's daily decks
Also I'm maindecking carpet of flowers in selvala monoG and prossh and it's pretty broken. Haven't tried choke yet but it seems worth a shot!
I really wish there was an option not to get your deck published as some of these guys have no idea how to play the deck and take so long that they almost go to time. I played against him one game and he beat me with 20 seconds on the clock...
Play something with Crypt Rats in it and respond to their triggers with X = 0................
Wait what? Losing to a netdecker who plays your own deck slowly and suboptimally is deserved? Fyi I stopped playing Jace after the first two days because I'm testing nonblue ways to beat monoU and Tasi. That and I'm not keen on playing Jace mirrors

I don't know how experienced you guys are with MTGO, but you actually need to restart the client every few matches. It loads card images while you play and after a few games that slows down everything a lot. Restarting should help.
But yes, the clock is a problem and it's one of the reasons I dropped out: I couldn't play in a timely fashion in my old Macbook.

Maybe it's time to build Jund bluehate with nothing but discard and land destruction. Boil, Boiling Seas, Tsunami BFF.
I 5-0'ed with Prossh and 4-1'ed two times with him. It does well against Baral and Tasigur because of the speed, especially with Dark Rit, Ancient Tomb, Grim Monolith and all the other elves and 2 mana ramp spells.
That Selvala Player was so good, that he appeared 2 times at the list, haha. Congrats, Spast1ka ;). Tasi and Baral are walking together to the exile... just saying.
Ignorant question here but can anyone explain to me how to navigate to the daily mtgo 5-0 results? I'm apparently blind.
From what I've seen so far of the lists posted here The Gitrog Monster is the only deck that interests me. It's the only deck without mana dorks or counter spells.
but lost in the 5th round to Sisay of all decks...
Obligatorily emerging from the shadows to sing: "Neener neener!" (Note to everyone else: I wasn't the Sisay player here! Spas could trounce me with Barktooth Warbeard if he wanted to.)
But also: hey! These results are pretty darn promising. I haven't yet hopped aboard MTGO, but doing so just got a lot more enticing, I'd say.

Along these same lines. Some words to the wise when looking at league results and trying to make guesses at the metagame based off of them (from someone who grinds a LOT of standard trying to prepare for large competitive events and PPTQs), not all 5-0's are usually listed by WOTC but a random selection of 5-0 lists from the day. This can often hide, mislead or misrepresent some of the numbers. On top of this, occasionally one player may win multiple 5-0's on the day and if you just look at the metagame numbers it might represent that their deck was far more represented than it actually was (one guy/gal with a competitive but off the wall brew but they know how to pilot it against the meta).
Anyway outside of that statement about 5-0 league results, I have strongly considered getting back into DC because of the MTGO adaptation. I haven't played it in years because my LGS where I used to live changed over to Modern (there were only like 8-10 of us a week if I remember) and I haven't looked back since. DC is really only a viable format if you have folks to play it with after all and that I think is the biggest boon for having WOTC adapt it to MTGO. Sure it may take some time for the meta to shake out and for the card or 2 that should be banned to get there but it will happen eventually. Meanwhile, now those of us interested in playing DC can jump on our computers and play any time we want and that is huge for increasing DC's exposure IMO. I know the initial cut reaction is to panic if the meta shows heavy on U decks like it has early on but give the MTGO hivemind some time and I'm sure folks will start throwing their full weight behind the format. Remember that probably 70-80% of "new" DC players will either bring their original commander brew (minus occasional card differences) not knowing how different 1v1 and multiplayer actually are (lots of folks at my LGS play 1v1 with their multiplayer decks when waiting for other people and obviously don't understand why they can't beat a particular deck for example), or they are folks who understand the "competitive nature" of 1v1 leagues and will go to recent 5-0 lists and netdeck it. Very few folks will brew from the start or even know where to begin. After all, the deck restrictions, mana bases, card selection and mechanics of DC are extremely different from any other 1v1 format most have played or had access to.
That's my unrequested $.02 anyway. I also popped my head in because I recognized spastika's username raking in 5-0's on the MTGgoldfish league reports. Keep killing it!
I have no idea where I'll start but it will likely be a Mardu brew of some sorts (I piloted a lot of Zurgo Helmsmasher) back when I originally played and I really like the look of Marchesa in a 1v1 environment. Granted I've also never really been much of a blue mage.
I sure look forward to waiting 2+ years for a bad format to adapt when we alreasy have a good and healthy format. Not to mention we still don't know if "Magic Digital Next" is or isn't a new software and if it is, wether or not it will support everything MODO supports.
If you wanna go Mardu Might I recommend Queen Marchesa? She my fav Mardu commander
That's exactly what I statede in the final line. Ironically my Zurgo "Boardsmasher" deck was similar to Queen Marchesa's Wildfire variants I've seen around. Stick Zurgo and then Armageddon or destroy the entire board. The thing I really like about Queen Marchesa is that Mardu's biggest drawback has always been lack of card advantage. She solves this problem in great fashion.

The format's already better than DC and has evolved to have 5-7 decks. Not sure what you want except to see blue nerfed.
Tasigur vs Nissa/Selvala vs Baral is not 5-7 decks. Plus, it's only Combo-Control vs Ramp which is the worst archetype diversity outside of bad Standard enviroments.
And to make your argument even more stupid and reactionary, Bruse+Thrasios, Baral, Geist, Narset and Jace are top8 decks in DC. So chill your persecution complex because Blue is not the problem, killing aggro and midrange by breaking the rules of the game because "control" can't dominate without a 10lp cushion is the problem.
