Seriously considering building The Frog for 1vs1 mtgo so I'll be following closely here. I'm currently about to retire an over-played Roon deck and I've gotten pretty used to the creature toolbox. Don't know if that has much of a place here or is it more suited for Karador or Sidisi?
I have a hard time imagining not playing the following creature-based suite, can someone convince me why I wouldn't want to play creature-based with skullclamp, reanimate, and stax strategies?
10 dorks
reclamation sage
spike weaver
fauna shaman
eternal witness
acidic slime
hornet queen
skullclamp
birthing pod
survival of the fittest
worldly tutor
green sun's zenith
chord of calling
crater + avenger
Golgari Grave-Troll
Golgari Thug
Stinkweed Imp
Bone Shredder
Fleshbag Marauder
Merciless Executioner
Viscera Seer
Pack Rat
¿Do you find the blue control MU hard?
i'm building the frog but is kind of hard dealing with all the blue in the meta, i've lost to Jenara and Narset a lot and want to know how to improve my matchup against those.
Thanks!
Against Counterheavy Decks you should really try to Stick one of these Cards or get the Engine (loam) rolling. Sometimes need to have a lot of patience because most of the times it´s better to wait until you draw a discard spell and clean up the way for your important spells.
I play a lot against Narset and it feels like a 50:50 matchup. Sometimes on curve counter are unbeatable.
Sadly i have never played against Jenara but it looks like a 50:50 matchup aswell since mass Removal can hit it Pretty hard.

I've got an awesome game resolving an early realms uncharted fetching all the cannot be countered lands plus blighted fen and another utility land paired with Life from the loam and he could not do anything against the lands, but then i just topdecked like all lands for like 10 turns and he all his control and boom, lost.... i made a lot of misplays that game too....
my meta is filled with blue decks and ive been thinking of adding stuff like choke and tsunami, and maybe removing some stuff like wild mongrel and oblivion crown because i was never able to assemble the combo
Seems like there are easier ways (e.g., Dredge) to dump large portions of your library into your graveyard (needing to deal combat damage to a player is unfortunate), but maybe playable.

I am brewing for some time with Gitrog now and i came up with a much more controlling shell than most of you
Could be because the Aggro Deck in my pool is Anafenza

As you can see it´s very mana hungry but it can have some very explosive turns.
If you look down through the sideboard you can see the cards I am considering or that didn´t make it for now. I am still playtesting.

Came to the following. I don't need Thespian's Stage # Dark Depth's . Defenitely win more. Added Two basic forests and a Mana Confluence. My mana base seemed a bit iffy
I won almost all games via Ugin, the Spirit Dragon Worm Harvest ( It's a real powerhouse!) or simple Gitrog Beats ( 21cmdr dmg)
Plus i noticed that i might need some more early game game. Looking forward to put birds of paradise and elves of the deep shadow in.
My changes for now are:
- Black Sun's Zenith + Languish
- Wretched Confluence + Birds of Paradise
- Realms Uncharted + Elves of the deep shadow
That´s it for now

Big Fan of Vessel of Nascency. This card can really smooth out your draws.
Looking forward to put Craterhoof Behemoth and Dread Return in.

I am considering Consume the meek as another Mass removal, but not sure what to cut at the moment
Did one of you played a game vs Keranos, god of storms ?
Looks like a pretty rough matchup to me. Lucky me i dodged it so far
Best regards

It would help a lot if you would post your List.
Well the Best cards against Blue in the Deck are , Cavern of Souls , Life From the Loam and Crucible of Worlds.
Against Counterheavy Decks you should really try to Stick one of these Cards or get the Engine (loam) rolling. Sometimes need to have a lot of patience because most of the times it´s better to wait until you draw a discard spell and clean up the way for your important spells.

The Titania combo (Sylvan safekeeper or Squandered Ressources) is much more resiliant and not that much *all in*.
If you have a heavy Blue Meta you might consider Carpet of Flowers
Since your is a very mana hungry , carpet can boost you a Lot to get to the top end spells.
I'd also play Deglamer or Unravel the Æther , because it´s the only way to remove Keranos, God of Storms
Another consideration is Boseiju, Who Shelters All to punch through your Instants and Sorcerie Spells.

¿have you faced stuff like marath, animar, anafenza, zurgo, karador, geist, wanderer?
BChainer, Dementia Master(Big Mana/Reanimator)
BRRakdos, The Showstopper (Mass Life Loss/Ramp)
BUThe Scarab God (Zombie Tribal/Control)
BWKarlov of the Ghost Council (Life Gain)
BGJarad, Golgari Lich Lord (Stompy/Dredge)
BRGProssh, Skyraider of Kher (Tokens/Non-infinite Combo)
Seems like there are easier ways (e.g., Dredge) to dump large portions of your library into your graveyard (needing to deal combat damage to a player is unfortunate), but maybe playable.
On the other hand, Stunning Growth... (Edit: Splendid Reclamation)
