The flash back might be to recur time walks to take extra turn after wanderer resolves try to swing 3 times before opponent gets to do anything only 9 mana? Just recur ramp spells?
Yeah. Likes it goes back to the basic ramp design (not creature version). Although, I like seeing the storm variant. I guess it doesn't work in a competitive meta since blue is still a pain to deal with.

I like having those two in my deck. Mechamorph is there because of the turn 3 cost whereas Clever can copy but still retained 4cmc. I would definitely keep those two in my deck.
I always wanted to ask, why not Vendilion Clique ? Since cascading into counterspells is terrible, there are not many ways to disrupt our opponents besides from LD/sweepers.

COMM Tef is an interesting addition to MW. I've tried it and to me, I would prefer using Tez. Aside from cmc, Tezz is one of the wincon ability where all of our rocks became a 5/5 beatstick... in addition, searching more rocks is nifty.

Hi all, I'm building this deck IRL, but I will have to play with the multiplayer banlist. I have to define a base list and then define where to go from there:
The banned cards were easy to include, they allow very explosive starts (very important when playing with the multiplayer banlist), free wins (crucible), or extremely good sinergy (top).
The rest of the base list is pretty stock. Other choices are to balance land and artifact ramp, as one can expect a lot of artifact hate when playing with the multiplayer banlist. Now, the problem is where to go from there, I have thought in 2 options:
- Oath list with red board sweepers, though I find it a little underwhelming when P.Titan isn't around (Inferno Titan and Frost Titan aren't gamebreakers really, Avenger of Zendikar can backfire with oath in play, Balefire Dragon is an option but too fragile).
- If going for a more creature heavy version, would you recommend playing Food Chain & Greater Good? (Oblation and Chaos Warp are cards in this format).
- If going for a more control/Oath list, what would you recommend as finishers?
- Any advice when playing against Zur??

With Titan and Primordial kaput, I would go with the Palichron combo. Balefire can do wonders tbh.
Food Chain and the exiled griffin can do wonders with emptying your deck.
With tucked ability, Oath is one of the answers and having Flamekin Harbinger might be counterproductive... although I do have my fair share of luck with it.
For multi, I would go to good stuff. Although, having Oath will give you tons of answers... like having Jin or as mundane as a Leviathan.
Tbh, I haven't touched the multi list in months and most of the time, I faced the basic "rage-quit." Although, facing reanimator is as annoying as facing Zur.
Give us some of your deck results when you get the chance.
It went miserable: beat Prossh, Isamaru, lost to Animar (goodstuff) and Zur.
Game against Animar (bo1) was particularly weird. Mulled 3 bombs to keep a hand with 2 U/R lands, one worn powerstone, a gilded lotus and a nature's lore. Didn't drew a land in like 5 turns and it was quick gg. We played a second game where my starting hand was sol ring, mana crypt, top and 2 lands. Casted T2 oracle and ended casting MW on T3, cascading into Jace and Karn lol ....
Nothing to do against Zur.

Happy New Year. Been busy lately with work and family. Lately, I've recently adding Titania, so far my self test works really really good despite having only fetchlands and none of the other sac-utility lands.
@KriggY: Well, it goes back to the basic strategy: ramp as much as you want and cast MW, and cascading really really good time walks and other stuff. If the cards are in the grave, Past in Flames helped you a lot. In addition, having a 42% land can give you the necessary "not missing drop" scenario.
I would say, it "might" work without the pricy time walks but in my build, I don't use it because I used to cast mass removal instead.
I mean its just lots of ramp spells so what are you cascading into? Any chance the deck will work without capture of jingzhou and temporal manipulation?I mean those are realy expensive

We just lost Fastbond... But gained Crucible, Top and Orb... Sound like a fair trade tbh :3
I thought Orb was bad for us, it takes 1 removal and we will have to wait for ages to get MW online again.
I understand that we have lots of artifact ramp, but I don't believe we can reach 10 mana with most of our lands under orb...

A couple of the choices aren't quite optimal (Walk the Aeons should just be any of the other two 5 mana Time Warps, for instance), but the deck is quite fun. I did well at the last Ann Arbor, MI tournament but I feel the deck is pretty weak against a field of mostly blue control at my local meta. I started playing Wanderer again because I really wanted to cast the new Sarkhan and I finally cast him a bit during this tournament and he performed quite well. I won vs. Kaalia, Braids, and Tasigur and lost to Grenzo. Kaalia was a bit scary and got me G1 with Rakdos, the Defiler but stumbled hardcore G2 and G3 when I was able to Sunder and Cyclonic Rift to keep my mana advantage. Braids was interesting because I thought it was going to be very hard, but Thran Dynamo saved my ass G1 and G3 to enable me to cast Wanderer and build up my resources to overcome the Braids upkeep trigger. Grenzo then comboed me twice despite a T4 Wanderer game 1. I mulled to four G1, faced little opposition G2, and the Tasigur pilot made a critical error in letting a Tezzeret resolve G3 (it got Lotus Bloom, which he Maelstrom Pulsed, but I got Thran Dynamo on my turn to cast Wanderer into Karn). I played against GAAIV in the quarterfinals and lost hardcore including a mull to 4 G2.

So far, you can blink the commander to the command zone and comes back.
What do you mean? What wouldn't work?

- If going for a more creature heavy version, would you recommend playing Food Chain & Greater Good? (Oblation and Chaos Warp are cards in this format).
