Cards I want to cut:
Alluren
Birthing Pod
Eye of ugin?
Primeval Titan?
What´s your thoughts about it?
If animar get Banned: I Think I'll quit Magic, my last bond with this game is my commander deck... I still need to buy Volcanic and Grove of the Burnwillows, I bought every other piece... give up from two modern decks to build this one..
Aluren seems cool, but it's really clunky. I was really hesitant to cut it, but did so awhile ago and haven't ever looked back. Pretty much the same with Birthing Pod.

As the popularity of swords and jittes increase a lot in my meta, I´m thinking about increase my response to artifacts, maybe enchantment, here my options and what I think about them:
Nature's Claim: Can beat Equipaments and Enchantments and it´s cheap, in the other hand, it has no interaction with the deck at all.
Viridian Shaman: very good sinergy with our Elves pack. I think it may be better than Ukatabi Orangutan
Caustic Catterpillar: Even thought it may look very costly, it can be still usefull even if opponents cast cards like torpor orb.
Any other suggestion you guys would made?
Eldrich Moon:
Would Elder Deep Fiend be a good addiction for Animar?

Is this just better than Sage of Epityr? I never liked turn 1 Sage for some reason. I like this card because if played on curve you can filter out some trash and get yourself some value when clamped. Of course Sage is better turn 1 but like I said I dont like casting Sage on turn 1 anyway.

I'd say it's most comparable to Gurmag Drowner, though not quite as good. Being able to nab lands or the occasional Cloudstone Curio / Glimpse of Nature is huge. Whiffing on those makes me not like it quite as much as Drowner, or even Sea-Gate Oracle. Sage of Epityr's real value is as a one drop, not even just on turn one but immediately after casting Animar. I definitely think there's a place for this guy in the deck though, it's just a matter of figuring out the right slot.

Sage just seems like it doesn't offer any card advantage. Looking at your top 4 and rearranging them is powerful but it could easily take a backseat to this guy. Gurmag Drowner just seems too good to cut for the Foul Emmisary. Looking at your top 4 is powerful turn 1 or 2 so you can fetch away any bad starts but past those turns it does little in the game but show you if you have the "green light" to go off or not on later turns. Foul Emissary after Animar having 1 or 2 counters seems like a good card to add a creature to hand when you need some more gas. If I cast Foul Emissary for example and I miss all creatures I'd probably be ok losing whatever I pitch to the bottom. At worst knowing I will get an untap with a potential for gas seems good to me.

In a metagame where control and combo are really popular, it's great to be able to gain one more turn ;-)
With animar it will often cost 0 mana and with it you can tap his mana and he won't be able to play a wrath ;-)
It´s somehow the same I thought when I first see the card in spoilers. Plus the fact that in some scenarios, the card can outperform ulamog, as it "removes" 4 blockers instead 2. It can overcome prosh with 8 tonkens... Animar + Statue combo, Elder Deep Fiend, Statue bouncing, Elder deep Fiend to tap all the blockers (8 in total).

Well, first of all, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre is still arguably a bit better than Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, for reasons I've mentioned previously. Nor do I do think Ancestral Statue belongs in the deck. That said, if the argument was that maybe Elder Deep Fiend could prevent something along the lines of a wrath, I think there are some holes in that strategy, namely opportunity cost. Every conceivable scenario I can think of in which Elder deep Fiend would be a reasonable strategy is predicated on missing earlier lines of play that could've resulted in a better outcome. To be completely blunt, I have never and will never add cards simply for the sake of dealing with blockers; it has always been a non-issue that's been exclusively vocalized by players who aren't quite yet well versed enough to manage consistent combos, and focusing on this point is moot considering it doesn't affect any hard match ups.
In any case, think about the match ups that are difficult, why they're difficult, and what kinds of strategies we can employ to address said match ups. That gives us a frame of reference against as we're contemplating changes. Strategy based arguments are the best.
We're not exactly doing great against Jace. Thoughts on that matchup?
Getting to draw a creature for G is actually really good and earthcrafting and getting every creature when you're already going off with Earthcraft and Cloudstone Curio.
After playing with both creatures swapped respectively (Sage of Epityr and Gurmag Drowner) as suggested above its hard to lose the Exploit just to keep the Sage. Some early starts with keeping a G producing land and dropping a mana dork only to follow up with that guy have been strong. Spending a U just to cast Sage when im trying to go off has just not been as fire as Boss Hogg.
I tried cutting it for a better cards IMO (Shared Discovery and Sylvan Tutor) ive found that there might be a place for this card because getting a basic land when you have Earthcraft and this in the opener has been pretty good.
A few games it was clutch to draw this late game. Other times it just tutored a basic land.
Something about it seems hard to get Delirium if youre ahead but I dont know why exactly it seemed insane late game. It just felt good to know I had another out to stick a basic land and it also felt good to just tutor a wincon uncontested when I was behind. Imperial Recruiter to had of the back of 1 G is an unforgettable experience lol
The Commander got nerfed just by changing how mulligans work. I used to be able to mulligan down to 4-5 cards just fine and still combo off and win. Now the hands you get have too much variance, feels far less powerful.

The mulligan change hurt everyone, not just Animar. Arguably it's better for us than others since we have so much redundancy.

The new mulligan rule disproportionally favors Animar. Where our opponents would be inclined to mulligan simply in hopes of getting some small set of specific answers, we can basically keep any balanced hands. There's also a much higher risk threshold. Really, we don't need to mulligan all that aggressively at all, and even seemingly mundane hands routinely pull off extraordinary early kills. We win the numbers game, statistically.
Regarding your struggles w/ Mono Red, Aramille, it's a little unconventional, but if you adopt a more mid-range strategy, and focus more on ramp / card advantage / efficiency rather than simply going all in w/ Animar, then their tempo/burn strategy falls apart. Never forget that you win the war of attrition.
Dear friends!
Talk to me plz about foul emissary and eldritch evolution
For my list i made: - exploration + Foul

There's no maybe about it, Viridian Shaman is strictly better than Uktabi Orangutan in our deck. She's the next most obvious choice after Reclamation Sage. I don't like Nature's Claim since I really want most of my cards to be creatures. Caustic Caterpillar is likely the next best choice.
Elder Deep Fiend is terrible.
