I bought the Commander 2013 deck 'Mind Seize' for my son's birthday, and I am looking to find cards that I can acquire on a budget for him to change it up based around Nekusar, the Mindrazer. He primarily only plays Commander in 1v1 games with me using my hap-hazardly changed Commander 2013 Esper deck, my less-changed-but-no-plan-to-it changed Commander 2013 Jund deck, or my proxied-but-slowly-acquiring-the-cards Colourless deck. Only the Jund is actually appropriate for 1v1 games.
I want to base it around Nekusar because he has been enjoying my Standard format hand-hate Dimir deck (except when I am the one playing it lol), so I felt this deck, and Nekusar in particular would be perfect for him. That said, I have a very limited knowledge of the older cards, as I've only been playing for 12 months now. The only idea I have in mind for the changes is subject to change based on card suggestions. This idea is centered around both forced card draw, using Nekusar to hurt them for it, as well as discard. A good chunk of removal would help too, be it burn spells, kill spells, bounce, exile or make them sacrifice.
