Not really. It really helps if either one of them got to your hand first.
Mirri on turn 1 is essential to know your next draw and predict and anticipate your future move. In my experience, people usually counter that card. Even when you can cast MW, you can choose which card you'd rather avoid and cast. Even in late games (without Library or Library out of commission), it's still doing its job.
Library is self explanatory.
Having both is bit interesting. From your opponent's move, they would rather destroy Library. However, I use them to manipulate the outcome with MW.

Yeah, not having fetchlands suck. I entered the game during Worldwake of all sets. Didn't have the budget to buy fetchlands back then. My Life from the Loam copy lies unused.

About the sweeper thing, I understand it completely. A Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and an Animar, Soul of the Elements deck recently surfaced in my LGS and it was hard to win(especially Thalia) without a cheap sweeper in my opening hand.
I have an idea what Time Spiral does but do you have specific use cases where the card is back breaking where it is worth it to refill an opponent's hand? Is it worth buying this over Mirri's Guile?
It can... you still have 11 or so cards that let's you draw in addition to shuffling your deck.
Hell, if I can destroy most of my opponent's threat in addition to my own, then it's worth destroying it. I did it all the time AIDing my planeswalkers, Library, Mirri and stuff just to keep my opponents at bay ... the outweigh of the field advantange is always a factor to me.
I usually find myself gravitating toward cheap draw spells and ones that usually manipulate the library like Preordain,Ponder, Telling Time and whatnot. It really helps early draws when you just need that sweeper or just one more land.
Do you think this approach can work, replacing more expensive draw spells like Concentrate and Urban Evolution?

On the other hand, Mirri Guile is just like Ponder so it saves your resources for something else, that's what intrigue me even if you draw him early or late... although it just happen during Upkeep.
As for your approach, it works well whatever you feel like... although, Counsel of the Soratami/ Divination are good cheap alternatives.
Arcum seems to be just a race. I think I can handle it fine.
It is Azami that I am having problems with though. I removed Pyroclasm in my deck not too long ago since there was a lack of critter based decks. But I am thinking of putting it back in along with Fire//Ice. I fear though that it might not be enough.

One thing for sure. Azami is fast but her soldiers are bit weak but having counterspell is hard enough to deal. So yeah, Pyro is your friend. Even better, arming with Volcanic Fallout during early turns is good.
Also, adding Cavern of Souls naming from Elemental, Giants to Ooze is a great way to deal with it. Also, Boseiju, Who Shelters All is A-MUST when you have more nonpermanent cards than permanent cards. All those can be searched with Expedition Map. I find that artifact really really useful even if you cast it as a cascade since it can searched essential lands from anti-Bribery, anti-maze to wincon.
Well, in my case, I've always grab a forest and/or island. So it's not really a problem for me to use her loyalty. I'm more concern on the number of basics (which is not really a problem for other versions of MW).
Marath is still my 50/50 mu due to the fact that in 'trice, they always grabbed Teeg whenever they get the chance.
Grenzo, the new guy, is usually in our favor if we get the right color and didn't missed a land drop. I lost to the combo version BECAUSE I didn't thought about using High Market to get that 1 extra life to get one more turn or the fact that I just missed my land drop just once. If I thought of it more extensively, I would've survive.
Overall, I might need more sweepers.
The sideboard is there when I used to have them in my deck.
Maelstrom Wanderer is showing up a lot in the new meta now that Oloro is banned and there's already a few new lists on mtgtop8. What does everybody think about this creature centric version that placed 2nd in Link Commander Challenge 3 (Nîmes)?
The fact that its based more on big overpowered creatures means that it's less hurt by Gaddock Teeg and hits harder with big hasty etb creatures. It also has a combo with Greater Good + Dream Halls that lets you sac MW over and over and draw cards and discard to keep playing him and cascade your whole deck. It also abuses cards like Eureka with permanents that draw even more permanents, Food Chain and Sneak Attack, and Flash to chain out a ton of big cards.
It would be nice to see the opponents even if the attendance is low (12 players). Having 2 decks posted from MtG Top 8 is nice and I wished we get some more info from it especially when the top spot is another MW that utilized ramp and mass sweepers.
From my experience, MW mirror match will often lead to "ramp fast will win."

I could post you a regular list that in using from time to time. But you have to know that Prime Time is totally legal in Duel Commander aka Frencg EDH. That's why in MtG Top 8 websites, you still see why some cards like Primeval Titan and Upheaval are being used as MW's arsenal bc they're using French EDH lists.
On the other hand, it's ban in regular EDH aka regular Commander.

It's good actually in a creature based version. If it's cascaded then it's a 2/1 beater, clamp or Food Chain goodness. I've have my doubts on 2cmc dork but seeing those guys in action, it's not really too shabby.
