3 life isnt much and it only triggers when its on a Dragon creature that you control, 4 cmc for 4/4 isnt impressive considering the options available to us.
Dragon Tempest is pretty good, i would run it alongside boots. Im probably cutting my weakest discard (Addle) for it
Yea its definitely a more Multiplayer oriented card, in 1v1 theres just much better out there
Archfiend of Depravity is not as good in multiplayer as I thought. It does nothing against EDH/Commander decks with low creature density, and opponents still have time to do something with their creatures before possibly losing them. Sire of Insanity is better in this role as everybody has cards in their hands, even though it hits the Kaalia first.

Oh sageco, u were right. Dragonlord Kolaghan is yea... it gives haste to Kaalia and others but at 6 cmc, and the 2nd ability is worthless in EDH
This is not useful in EDH/Commander. We have cheaper haste options. Even Dragon Tempest is better since it is an enchantment and harder to eliminate.
Since the Cycles of dragons in our colors have been revealed, it seems we wont be getting anything creature-wise. Except maybe a semi decent demon, and thats a big maybe that its playable
The only thing good about Dragonlord Kolaghan is the art, imagine it in foil
Maybe the next set then, or some decent removal spells

Actually, Sire hits everyone at the same time. There's why its so much value.

Oops, I didn't read the card correctly. Good catch!
The Dragonlord isn't completely unplayable - in the Draconic version it's a top rez target to make Patriarch's Bidding into a win. That's all I got though.
I think he means for someone who might play Relentless Rats, it might discourage them from being played. Not that I know of many playing them...or Shadowborn Apostle.

Here I thought that Dragonlord Kolaghn's second ability was useless... I guess there is one EDH deck that this dragon can hose.
Dragonlord Kolaghan isn't just unplayable EDH garbage, she's just straight garbage. Waste of a mythic slot, waste of fantastic art. Her stats means she dies to everything, her ability will never trigger (unless its a net benefit for the opponent), she's nothing but 6 mana for 6 damage.
Its just so annoying. Who wants to bet that the Ojutai will be good?
Is your Kaalia deck for 1 vs. 1 or multiplayer? Because another player in the past had asked, you cannot have a single Kaalia decklist that caters to both 1 vs. 1 and multiplayer. You will have to maintain a larger pool of cards if you want to switch between those two styles.
If you're looking for ideas, 3drinks's 1 vs. 1 deck is pretty definitive. User "blueram" has a different Kaalia deck that is also pretty potent.
3drinks, and other deck primer authors, "reserve" the first couple of posts of a thread to maintain and update their deck lists. 3drink's Kaalia deck list on the first post of this thread is current, so you can refer to it without fear that it is out of date. In general, you can always look at a thread's first post and see when it was last edited. If the post has been edited, it will say "Edited on..." in italics. If the edit date is not recent, then you might ask if there are any updates.
3drinks has been playing the Kaalia deck a lot since Kaalia came out, and what I've noticed is that most Kaalia players who want a "good" Kaalia deck will end up with about 95% of the cards 3drinks uses.
I don't advise viewing this site on mobile, because it is really hard to read anything here.
Truth. Mobile MTGS blows lol, and I am loathe to go here on my phone.
And yeah that list in the OP fairly current. I've just been on a Zurgo kick as it doesn't appear to rely on as many cards to kill like Kaalia does (in Duel-Commander anyway), and that allows me to pack more disruption.
Kolaghan's Command spoiled, and its just not quote good enough. If the discard included a reveal and us choosing, that would be much better; but as is im not running it in 1v1 Kaalia despite being a pretty decent 2 for 1

It's weaker than Blightning, if you choose those two modes of Kolaghan's Command.

I cant wait for the Elder Dragon Lord form of Kolaghan to show, please be epic. I've got higher hopes because its a mythic cycle instead of a rare
it also seems like they are doing a rare mono colored dragon cycle. too bad the white, red and black have been spoiled and they are meh
Another cycle is the Allied Color Commands, we might get sth good for Kolaghan's Command
we did get Hero's Downfall and Crackling Doom while some players also included Nomad Outpost, Archfiend of Depravity.
Still don't see a home for Archfiend.

Other creatures you control have haste.
Whenever an opponent casts a creature or planeswalker spell with the same name as a card in their graveyard, that player loses 10 life.

The rare version of kolaghan is much better in a draconic version than this one
