In your deck, I play Capsize instead of Disperse. Capsize wins games for me. I don't know why you're playing High Market. Temporal Trespass is in my opinion far better than Part the Waterveil. I find the 2/2 manlands I play to be much better than the 1/1's you're playing. I don't play the Essence Scatter type spells. I'm not sure why; they just seem like a bad deal when you can get Exclude for 1 more.
Swan Song is a good call, Disrupting Shoal is good but didn't quite make the cut for me. Muddle the Mixture is way too slow for my liking, even if it grabs two of the better cards in the deck like Howling Mine or Stasis.
We both play Forbid but it's been ages since I've actually paid its buyback.
Order of Succession seems out of place. I assume it's there for Narset but is it useful for anything else?
In this deck you can't Snapcaster it since that card can't be played, and you won't tutor it since 95% of the time you're better off picking Polymorph instead. And a plain ol' Control Magic-type cards are not even close to making the cut.
Right, my point wasn't to chastise your hyperbole but to say that the reasons you mentioned aren't actually applicable to this specific deck. And for a few other reasons as well (I have too many 4cc+ sorceries to begin with, I don't want to give green or black more ways to get rid of Kami by being able to sacrifice him, etc). It's like Snapcaster and Vendilion, which are ridiculously good in virtually any monoblue deck, except this particular one.
Do you think I can play a tournament that have three games with time limit (50 minutes) with that deck without ending in a draw? Or Vendilion with Poly/Emrakul is better? If Emrakul stucks in my hand, the best thing to do is skip my turn and wait to have 8+ cards to discard it? If Emrakul got exiled for any reason, what wincon we have? Maybe Vedalken Shackles or Mind Over Matter? What about Synthetic Destiny, Command Beacon, Time Spiral and Mystic Confluence? The best alternative to Capture of Jingzhou is Walk the Aeons or Part the Waterveil? If I choose to use utility creatures like Vendilion Clique/Snapcaster Mage/Jace Vryn's Prodigy/Venser, Shaper Savant/Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir instead of Poly/Emrakul, the only wincon will be Vedalken Shackles? And now the meta is too aggro, do you think Kami can deal with it? How about Engulf the Shore and Evacuation against aggro decks?
