LOL 6 lands and fastbond... and then what? Topdeck mode?
You see I've a problem when people just cut their argument short. Magic is a game of progression, there has to be a plan after your actions. If you expect to draw Windfall your next turn everytime I will have to scrutinize how you shuffle. Even then a 6-land Fastbond hand is suspicious enough.
Like one poster mentioned... do you seriously expect fastbond to turn up in most playgroups. If casuals and the RC didn't care for combos and how spikes play, I don't know why Fastbond should be castigated. For most casual circumstances, you don't play fastbond in a normal setting. You play because you're likely to exploit it. If your casual playgroup frowns upon it, you're gonna take it out anyways. As casual as a playgroup can be, I don't think they suffer any fools gladly.
6 lands and cast a Commander that allows players to start refilling their hands? Or that is hard to answer? Or that just takes over the game? Or the fact that after 6 lands, you can realistcly cast anything you draw? No, never...
Strange that people seem to forget players always have access to one card at all times, and most of the time costs <6.
Consistent playgroups can regulate their own players, that doesn't apply to the "random encounters".
Oh, and LOL at your assumption that if the above were to happen, it would have to be due to some underhanded shenanigans. Geeze, and you have a problem with folks cutting arguments short???
