Using Nacre Talisman as an example (Mostly because I haven't seen an infinite mana combo for White), the Oracle Text reads: "Whenever a player casts a white spell, you may pay (3). If you do, untap target permanent." This, coupled with something like Nyx Lotus and any buyback spell, can create infinite mana.
Prime Example: Nyx Lotus (let's just say the devotion to White is 8) taps for 8. You use 4 of that White mana to cast "Recruit the Worthy". 1 White Mana, Instant, Buyback 3 (You may pay an additional 3 as you cast this spell. If you do, put this card into your hand as it resolves.)
Create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token. On cast, Nacre Talisman triggers. You pay (3) using 3 of the White mana Nyx Lotus made, leaving 1 White left over, and you untap Nyx Lotus. You Net 1 White Mana in this loop.
Simplified: Tap Nyx Lotus, Cast Recruit the Worthy (Buyback Paid), Nacre Talisman triggers, pay trigger, untap Nyx Lotus. Repeat.
Obviously, there are may be better cards to substitute in for Nyx Lotus, the spells that trigger the talismans and what not. However, I think these things could be usable in a lot of decks, both in mono color, and multicolors. Maybe not a lot of competitive builds, but you never know. Do with this information as you will.
Basalt Monolith with 2 additional mana from any source gives you infinite colorless mana; add Voltaic Key and you have infinite artifact untaps without needing a single artifact tapping for 4.
This...this gives me the idea to make a seemingly awful mono black deck that uses a bunch of terrible old cards that no one in the right mind will ever target like the Onyx Talisman but then blam go infinite with Nyx Lotus and Brush with Death.
Onyx Talisman (Black)
Malachite Talisman (Green)
Lapis Lazuli Talisman (Blue)
Hematite Talisman (Red)
Nacre Talisman (White)
