MTG Salvation

Ive seen people post this before but the posts are seemingly out of date, there are many good commanders but im looking for the best. Some ideas for them are Kruphix, God of Horizons. The reason being the mana overage is definitely going to build up and let you play Eldrazi very easily as well as any other big mana cards. Then there is Jhoira of the Ghitu, She is a good choice because you can play Eldrazi for free, you just have to wait for them to come in. So for you guys what would be your ideal commander for a Eldrazi deck?

I suppose it depends on what you mean by an Eldrazi Deck. Are you talking Eldrazi tribal? Or running the more iconic ones like the titans and the annihilator versions from OG Zendikar.

If you’re going ‘Drazi tribal, I’d suggest something that helps with the colorless aspect. Kruphix is most definitely a good one. But, it’s not quite as synergistic if you’re running some of the lower CMC creatures.

My best/most fun Eldrazi deck was a version I made for Nissa, Vastwood Seer. Having access to some land fetching in the CZ really smoothed out the clunkiness of having quite a few high CMC in my deck. I didn’t play it long because it wasn’t very powerful or consistent, but it was fun when you could get that early ramp to pay off.

1 guy in my playgroup runs a lot of eldrazi in his Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder deck.

Animar, Soul of Elements is a common choice, so is Rakdos, Lord of Riots.

If you are using colored eldrazi, morophon works wonders, especially with jodah and fist of sun's.
