MTG Salvation

So I’ve decided on a death trigger tribal deck, with lord of tresserhorn as the general, but have been struggling-ish to get a list together that works.

Aside from the typical cards like messenger drake and thalakos seer, are there cards that I really absolutely need to chuck in here to make the deck work?

The new Cavellier's from M20 have both ETB and Death triggers. Black one is Great, Red is Good, Blue is meh.

The legendary Spirit dragons are must haves, listed below.

Other cards that may be worth a look. They don't all trigger on death, but many benefit from going to the graveyard, or being reanimated. Or help get other things in the graveyard.

By the way, before even seeing who your choice of general was, "death trigger tribal" made me think of Marchesa, the Black Rose first (also Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker, but Marchesa is the same colors you're going for).

Do you want to rely on cantrip creatures (Oculus, Palace Familiar, etc.), supplemental card draw, and casting things? Do you want any sort of engine that recurs creatures so they can die again?

I suggest also searching for "leaves the battlefield" triggers rather than just "dies" triggers. Here are some stuff I found that seems related, though I'm not entirely sure what direction you're really trying to go in.

These are more of a stretch or are indirect (triggering on something else dying).

• Open the Graves
• Salvaging Station
• Grim Haruspex-type cards, Warteye Witch.
• Stalking Vengeance (more direct than Flayer of the Hatebound)
• Faerie Artisans because if it does and comes back, token copies made by previous "versions" of Faerie Artisans don't get exiled.
• Homura, Human Ascendant

Cards like Cackling Counterpart/Rite of Replication are great for legendary creatures who have death triggers, such as the Kamigawa dragons.

I was thinking it was gonna be a torpor orb based deck, so dying triggers still work, but I get to hose all those cones into play ones.
