I run a dragon tribal deck, and I am currently looking for dragons that boost dragons (Such as universal pumps or on attack triggers. Since my Commander is The Ur-Dragon i have access to all colors.
Cost reducers (the creature sthat do it) have no place in my deck. i ran them before but they take up valuable slots)
While I wan to run Sarrkan (and own one) If i have The immortal sun out, he is a dead draw. Immortal sun is far more important than he is thus i am not running him.
Thunderbreak Regent is a little lackluster to me. Not enough oomph for the worth. With all my dedutions in my deck, most dragons only end up costing their colors or their colors plus maybe 1 mana. I can even get to the point of casting 3 or 4 a turn.
Scion is not going into the deck. While he is a good dragon, he is more of a situational good dragon, and i am not going for a reanimator deck. (I have ranimation spells, but not a reanimator deck)
Kaalia is in the deck but she has not done much work yet. Granted i played only two games with her since i put her in my deck and I only drew her one of those two games, so I will leave in there for now. Overall i will probably remove her. She is still a 4 drop, which can put out expensive dragons, but sadly not my big guy.
Dragonstorm is a little too expensive. While i can get a lot of dragons out a turn. Dragonstorm gets no reductions and thus costs 9 mana.
I should get a Dragonmaster outcast, 6 lands is nothing in this deck. It is a fast deck to begin with, so if i can keep a 1/1 around it is worth getting 5/5s.
We have the already mentioned dragon lords, most of which are included in the precon. We have Sarkhan the Mad that suddenly makes Sorin Markov look fair by comparison when a dragon deck deploys him at the right time. There's the grossly overlooked Steely Resolve. Like, what exactly are you people targeting your own dragons with? Why are edhrec people running asceticism instead of this lovely 2 drop?
Sylvia Brightspear sounds like it would be hilarious to draw and cheat into play with the Ur-Dragon's ability but I haven't included her yet because she kinda feels like a glorified combat trick rather than a finisher on her own like Atarka. The only other thing she would be good for is tutoring a specific dragon that is like, Portal's dragon cycle levels of trash. Still, it is a thing to kinda consider I guess.

Well the pre-dragonlord dragonlods.
I don't use Dromoka as he is the worst of the group (bolster) but the others are in the deck. I may switch a card out for Dromoka later though, he just never pulled his weight.
Sarkhan can be a finisher if he is not getting locked by immortal sun. Wild pair, Steely resolved and Sunbird's invocation are also worthwhile, and i may grab maelstrom nexus
I use Sylvia strictly for her double strike. By deck is literally a battlecruiser deck. Turn sideways and that s what they do. She at least gets me another dragon even though it is dumb. I keep the dragon though because he can tutor her if i draw him first. I would probably remove them to build a boros deck.
Actually, the worst of the fate reforged lords to me is Ojutai because of his mana cost. Dromoka when played early enough is absolutely terrifying and works beautifully with my Dragon Broodmother tokens or Dragon Tempest hatched Nesting Dragon babies. Still, Ojutai is in my current build just so I can annoy my table with Mr. Freeze puns whenever I get to swing with it.
EDH players get tilted just because they can't use his last line of game text. But he gives all your creatures haste.
It's all psychological, if that game text wasn't there and it just said all your creatures have haste, people would use him.
I agree with this so hard. I've seen so many people be like "You actually use this card in EDH?" and my answer is usually "Patriarch's bidding. Die."
Also that last line is totally relavant if there's a Shirei player in your pod :3c
Literally make a point of this as the one and only way to end the Dragonstorm chain in Kaalia. If the Scourge/Lathlis/Panharmonicon counts didn't waste them originally.

I am trying to makes ense with what you just said, what does dragonstorm chain have to do with Dragonlord Kolghan? Also how do you waste a count?
Again I would love to cast dragonstrom, but at the moment it is a 9 mana tutor. I have cost reducers which allow me to cast a lot of dragons a turn. Dragonstorm will still cost me 8R I will get one dragon from it in most cases. At least Tooth and Nail is helpful.
Wait if Lathliss and Valkas enter at the same time, do their abilities both trigger?
Like Lathliss see Valkos so a 5/5 enters, and Valaks sees himself and Lathliss and the token so he deal, 1, 2, 3 (well 6, 1+2+3) damage (or would it be 2/2/3 (Since he sees Lathliss at the same time)
I don't run dragonstorm in my ur-dragon either. I did in my old Intet, the Dreamer/Prossh builds because my ramp package was much more explosive due to less reliance on non-basic lands. Late game signet and mana dork draws would become fuel for the storm. Not to say playing dragons fair and square nowadays is bad thanks to the Ur-Dragon auto correcting my curve a little.
With Dragonstorm that simultaneous meeting doesn't happen as each copy resolves individually. Now, say if they do legitimately enter simultaniously (Say mass reanimation)...When Lathliss and Valkas enter at the same time you will get 2 triggers of 2 damage to any target as it sees itself and its queen. Then Lathliss will get to trigger. Once that token resolves, Scourge of Valkas will get a trigger for 3 damage to any target. So it is 2/2/3.

Riiight, so with dragonstrom, you would get Valkas first, then lathliss and then the other dragons. So with four dragons coming in it would be,
Valkas-1
Lathliss-2
Haster-3
Lathliss trigger-4
Utvara-5
with utvara getting me 50 extra damage on attack (Since all token see each other and do 10 damage each) with any other dragons i have in play. maybe i should get some Twincasts and hope to be able to play them on tooth and nail.
as for mana base. I have 0 basics, so blood moon kills me. But aside form that my deck has a solid mana base. 7 utility lands, 10 Duals, 10 Shocks and 10 fetches.

I guess I should have extrapolated further. Apologies.
Yes, you build up storm with your standard fare, YawgWin/Past in Flames + rituals, Paradox Engine + Isochron, or even the old fashioned way with cost reducers on cheap spells + a way to hand cycle (Mindmoil was my card of choice here). There's also a couple of combos you could use such as Reiterate on a Seething Song cast off a Pyromancer's Goggles or Entomb (for Dragonstorm) into Mizzix's Mastery (which casts the spell and thus, nets you the storm trigger) but I digress.
First copy to resolve nets you Lathliss, Dragon Queen every time. Next gets Scourge of Valkas which creates two triggers simultaneously (one from Scourge, one from Lathlis). Since you control both triggers, you put them on the stack as you choose. In this case we put Scourge on the stack first (the bottom), and Lathlis over it so it resolves first. This makes a 5/5 dragon and triggers Scourge (3 damage), then we let the other resolve for 3 damage. We've now dealt six damage off the second Dragonstorm copy. Throughout the chain you can even add protection such as Thunderbreak Regent and Scalelord Reckoner and even have a recourse if someone tries to take out a key piece mid chain (Bladewing the Risen). On the final copy of Dragonstorm to resolve, you'd get Dragonlord Kolaghan for the mass haste to combat kill everyone (and get more triggers mid-combat because you obviously grabbed Utvara Hellkite...right?)
If you had multiple opponents or this somehow wasn't enough, you can even amplify the clock with Dragon Tempest (replicating the Scourge effect) and Panharmonicon, which further exponentially speeds up the clock.
I really want to add dragonatorm now. I have a spare paradox engine too. Now the issue here, i want to avoid grave play. I could have built dragons as graveyard combo, but that was not my goal.
Luckily paradox engine will be good, except I don't have the mana rocks. Well i do, but not enough to combo out. Lantern, gilded lotus, dragon's hoard... i think that is the extent of my colored rocks. Maybe commander sphere and darksteel ingot are in there too, not sure, i will have to check.
I do have the card draw though. Kindred discovery, temur ascendancy and elemental bond. Cast a few dragons. Draw 3 off of each, cast dragonstorm, combo off and finish my opponents off with pure damage.
I think i can remove one of my expensive board wipes for this. 9 mana plague wind usually never gets cast. (Though with paradox engine. Might be more doable now.)
EDIT: I was wrong, the only (Color) rocks I have are Commander's Sphere, Dragon's Hoard and Chromatic Lantern.
so i am looking for suggestions.

I noticed a lot of builders try Sunbird's Invocation or Maelstrom Nexus. I found an odd card I've been messing around with (And so far like better): Wild Pair. A lot of dragons are kinda designed similarly. It allows all sorts of shenanigans like Lathliss, Dragon Queen and then Utvara Hellkite, Scourge of Valkas and then Broodmate Dragon, or Dragonlord Kolaghan and then Ojutai, Soul of Winter.
