Besides the new C18 Lord Windgrace and the B/G the gitrog monster what are some other good Land Matter Commanders? What are some more unusual land matter commanders? What are your Favorite ways to play with lands?
Child of Alara is a option if you want to go the other way and use all the colours - repeatedly blowing up everything but lands gives you plenty of space for playing around with interesting land based interactions.
I should add that you can build a lands matter subtheme into any commander who functions as a mana sink.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I absolutely love Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis for a land build. Though mine is currently an Enchantress deck, K&T lands is a blast, getting the extra card draw and having a potential 2nd land a turn in the command zone can be highly underestimated.
You get most of the aboved mentioned cards like Tatayova and Locus of Rage, while adding in the Patron of the Moon and the other Soratami Moonfolk that give you an effect for bouncing lands.

Gonna second this. I love my K&T lands deck. You lose out on a few of the B cards that care about lands, but there really aren't that many of them (mostly just The Gitrog Monster, Lord Windgrace and Worm Harvest) and in exchange you get to play literally everything else that cares about lands. Really underrated commander in my opinion. Everyone looks at them and thinks "group hug" but they can be so much more.

Well, there are more black cards that care about lands, but only about swamps. If you're in four colors, you won't be getting much use out of those, barring Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or Prismatic Omen.

Yeah, in my experience you can kind of break lands down into two archetypes - sacrifice and landfall.
Jund tends to care more about getting lands in the GY or using them as a resource there - cards like Gitrog, Titania, and Worm Harvest lead by a commander like VV2 (land sac with attack trigger) or Windgrace (dumping lands to fuel draw and then replaying them from the GY). This strategy still runs well with Locus of Rage, while gaining neat black effects like Retreat to Hagra and Ob Nixilis, the Fallen.
Bant (or 4C in the case of K&T) prioritizes landfall a bit more and looks to abuse effects like Roil Elemental, Emeria Angel and Admonition Angel (among many others). K&T grants you red, which gives again gives you access to Locus of Rage and an additional extra land per turn guy with Mina and Denn. K&T almost guarantees 2 landfall triggers a turn, which in with land bounce effects can get out of hand quickly.
I was really disappointed with the lands-matter deck in Commander 2018, so instead of building the Lord Windgrace Jund deck I intended, I added blue and went with Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder.
No regrets, Yidris is an excellent enabler leading the deck, and adding blue allowed me to add Thrasios, Tatyova, Meloku and Trade Routes. Definitely a less common lands-matter commander option, but very powerful.

I want to say Dakkon Blackblade is more obscure. He isn't, but he is one of the few nongreen lands matter Commanders. There's also Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper.
I should add that you can build a lands matter subtheme into any commander who functions as a mana sink.
On phasing:
It's very easy to get Lost in the Woods
... it's an awful deck though.
Thrasios, Triton Hero is great if you want partners. Land decks are very easy to go 4C in.

Ramp up and swing. With the built in trample and greens ability to just ramp like mad, that */* can soon be 7, 10, 14...
Add in strata scythe and blanchwood armor and you are still using land matters with something that has just become terrifying.

Tatyova, Benthic Druid can be lots of fun with some Moonfolk and some extra land drop cards, have seen some WILD stuff mixing a Summer Bloom and a Uyo, Silent Prophet
