MTG Salvation

I've been bouncing around the idea of making a Brion Stoutarm EDH Deck, and while I have a rather basic combo planned out, I'm still looking for cards to help with token production, creating a lot of red mana, and pumping them strong enough to deal enough damage. Here's what I have so far:

So, do you guys have any recommendation for additions/changes/removals?

Sunforger all the way.

You can get search out staples like Swords to Plowshares, Oblation, Choas Warp, Wear and Tear, Boros Charm, Teferi's Protection, Enlightened Tutor, etc.
But specifically for Brion you can pack; Grab the Reins, Fling, Fatal Frenzy, Blind with Anger.

For token generating; Phyrexian Processor, Feldon of the Third Path, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Mimic Vat.

1. Get all the pieces of Kaldra out.
2. Make/sac a bunch of Kaldras.

Thousand-Year Elixir is a staple for Brion decks because it gives pseudo haste and a way to untap and use his ability a second time each turn (good redundancy if you don't have your Thornbite Staff.

Coat of Arms can make your tokens huge if they share a creature type.

Treasonous Ogre can give you the red mana to continuously activate Brion, assuming you have Thornbite Staff on him and are flinging creatures with at least 3 power (that way he gains you as much as you're paying).

And I really like MRdown2urth's idea of the Kaldra cycle - one mana to make a 9/9 is pretty good, and having a way to make Brion indestructible while you set up your combo is great.

the hell? That is brilliant.

Also umbral mantle could be useful. Untap and swing another 9/9 (if you have the mana)

If you think assembling three different equipment is a long shot, then Blade of Selves or Helm of the Host on Stoneforge Mystic can bump things along.

Splendid idea, I might give it a try.

I might do this for fun. Thievery, Maybe give myself a sac outlet just so if I cannot sac the creature i stole for whatever reason, just dump them into an ashnod's altar.

The kaldra combo i like. And o love that you get life for each guy the fling.
