Have you found giving yourself hexproof or shroud useful? I have been playing Sigarda, Host of Herons enchantress for some time now and wanted to try bant Tuvasa the Sunlit.
Like many tech cards in EDH, it depends on your meta. I have a friend who plays a big mana Wort, the Raidmother deck that throws around lots of big X burn spells, so player hexproof would be very useful against him. If you see a lot of that with the people you play, then go for it, but otherwise player hexproof doesn't do a whole lot.
Player Hexproof is best when you have a graveyard strategy as it protects you from a few player targeted hate cards, like Bojuka Bog Got a bit worse since planeswalkers are targeted now as well, rather than the whole redirected from a player. So all-in-all it's a little bit limited.
Targeted player discard isn't a very popular as well (if you see it at all), so again not at its best in commander multiplayer.
Solitary Confinement is pretty good but I think the others are pretty niche. I play a decent amount of spells that target opponents in the form of discard and burn but the the average EDH deck probably doesn't.
It's also useful when Nekusar players start tossing Sign in Blood and the like (or just Sudden Impact, you will have a full hand) at you.
But in general, it's not that useful. The other real benefit I can think of is sidelining Inferno Titan in the rare situation where he doesn't have other targets. (Though the Titan player would probably just damage himself and take advantage of Basilisk Collar.)
And Runed Halo is the worst thing you can do to a Voltron deck.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I have not played any player-hexproof cards. They just don't feel worth the deck space to me. I have never played against much heavy graveyard removal. Half of it is targeted removal (Withered Wretch, Scavenging Ooze) and some is mass GY hate (Relic of Progenitus). My reanimator deck doesn't fold to a single Tormod's Crypt so I have never bothered testing out any of these cards. If I see more than one player targeted GY hate card, it is rare enough to not warrant a deck slot specifically for that situation.
Most players looking to win off a big play targeting a player will wait until they can remove the hexproof obstacle before the kill. At least I would... Unless you are playing in a competitive meta, where an extra turn or two may make the difference, just play things that have more impact.
I don't think I have personally ever seen these types of cards make any significant impact on a game. But like mentioned above, meta dependent.
The Ageis guy in an enchantment deck seems fine. Low cost, triggeers enchantresses, I would test that before the other higher cost spells.

I counted last night: hexproof on myself in 2 of 5 games would either have won me the game or prevented me from losing so easily. Player targeting firebreath, multiple bogs, nonstop crypts every turn, target mill or exile tops x cards every turn, etc.
After the 5 hours, most agreed that some form of it would have helped.
But yes Aegis seems good because I want to run G-Teeg like I did in Sigarda
I am curious on what all can be blocked by hexproof I have teyo The shield mage I have said repeatedly that with hex proof I cannot be the target of spells or abilities an opponent controls they argue that because it does not say target only opponents I Can be is this correct??

I don’t completely understand what your opponents mean, but as long as it says “target”, then you’re safe. Even if it says target opponent and not just target player. It it says each or every or choose, then hexproof doesn’t help.
Hexproof and shroud are generally good. It shuts down a lot more effects than players generally give it credit for. Zedruu, for example, would have a hard time dealing with donating stuff. But in general, as long as you don’t have a very fragile deck, it’s not completely necessary.

With obvious things like fireball aside, it's very good at protecting a players graveyard for specific combo decks against specific hate. It doesn't stop all, but answers cards like tormod's crypt and bojuka bog that target a player. I played a green/white hermit druid deck that piloted sigarda, heron's grace along with cards like scout's warning and savage summoning to flash out druid, or to flash out sigarda to protect my graveyard. This worked well for me, but wasn't a fix-all since things like scavenger grounds exist. But this effect was absolutely clutch in many games.
While it can be helpful this is not an effect that should be put in to every deck.
If you're playing a sort or combo deck that needs ways to protect the graveyard then it makes sense. If you're tuning your deck to answer specific cards your meta is playing, then your probably better to just play better generic answers instead of meta-tuning hate against specific opponents.
Thoughts on cards like Aegis of the Gods and Leyline of Sanctity?

Keep in mind that red and black can easily kill Aegis of the Gods and to a lesser extent Spirit of the Hearth. (Black can still Blade Spirit, but red might need two burn spells.) And never use Ivory Mask when Imperial Mask and Witchbane Orb are both better.

This effect also stops random extract and fun effects like praetor's grasp/bribery/mindclaw shaman/gonti, lord of luxury/villainous wealth/etc.
