Building a Jodah, Archmage Eternal EDH deck. Been play testing it for a while now and found a rather interesting combo to share. I was playing the other night and was rather shocked to play all this out within 2 turns.
I had Army of the Damned and Devout Invocations in my opening hand. Later in the game I drew into Doubling Season. Then next turn I tutored for Descent of the Dragons and played all three remaining cards that turn.
1. Play Doubling Season
2. Then play Army of the Damned
3. Then play Descent of the Dragons
4. Then play Devout Invocation.
Riku of Two Reflections - Copy, then copy again | Shattergang Brothers - Token Sac&Recur | Gahiji, Honored One - Multiple attack steps | Karametra, God of Harvests - Landfall, Creaturefall, Shroud | Ruhan of the Fomori - Stop hitting yourself | Zurgo Helmsmasher - Equipment&Wraths | Crosis, the Purger - Dragon Tribal Reanimator | Derevi, Empyrial Tactician - No stax, just tap and untap fun | Anafenza, the Foremost - Enduring Ideal Enchantress | Sharuum, the Hegemon - Sphinx Tribal Control | Noyan Dar - Spellslinger | The Mimeoplasm - Counterpalooza
Lists can be found here.
Still convinced the guy on Beseech the Queen is wearing a Mitra-type hat. Wake up sheeple!
If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.
Need to add in Day of the Dragons and Conflux to fetch all five pieces (since they are conveniently in all five colors). And if you really wanted to avoid the combat step altogether, a Warstorm Surge or Purphoros, God of the Forge would allow you to just burn your opponents out.
Thats certainly an awesome turn But it's not something particularly revolutionary. I hope you didn't get wrath'd into oblivion before smashing with all that.

I know, just wanted to give a little advice to the OP
even if his... "combo" may not be tuned, he showed an clear enthusiasm that reminded me why i love this game
If you are going to go that far, might as well turn everything into a Precursor Golem with Mirrorweave, then cast a kicked Rite of Replication on them. You could also add Opalescence to turn Doubling Season into a creature and Mirrorweave that too just before you cast your last token-generating spell for some real head-wrenching math.
