Are we finally going to get an Ophiomancer token?
Maybe even an enemy colored Talisman cycle?
Those are by far my two greatest wishes for the last several years. Seriously, why was Ophiomancer not included in something like Conspiracy?
I would not object to eliminating the reserved list and reprinting Chains of Mephistopheles in one of the pre-con's. That card is absolutely perfect for new players Though I will personally stick with using my Legends copy

why are you expecting such a random card to be given to us?
I'd love for the UR artifacts deck to include Mizzium Transreliquat. Lot of people play Sculpting Steel, but most people I talk to have never even heard of Mizzium Transreliquat.
Having both Mizzium Transreliquat and Sculpting Steel is kind like having both Thespian's Stage and Vesuva.
Not printing Serra would be a huge middle finger to the playerbase and would piss a great many players off.
They made sure to show off the new church of Serra on Dominaria, made some new Serra themed cards in M19 and they even made a Serra themed Angel lord. They know people want Serra after the Nahiri Incident.
If they fail to deliver this year, wizards would lose a lot of trust and respect from the player base.

I'll be happier if there's no Serra. If she's not in it, you fanboys still will buy this product and keep complaining. Even if she's in it, you'll buy this product and keep complaining.
Anyway, I like the suggestions of reprints for enchantress.

This is exactly what gets said every time, and people keep lining up to buy. People can't expect something WotC never promised, then cite 'loss of trust' when it does not happen. That's not logical.
If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.
I honestly don't care about Serra at all. As long as WotC delivers cool, creative card designs and nice decks, I am happy. I like a cool legendary creature as much as the next guy, but so far Wizards has (almost) never disappointed in that regard.
Riku of Two Reflections - Copy, then copy again | Shattergang Brothers - Token Sac&Recur | Gahiji, Honored One - Multiple attack steps | Karametra, God of Harvests - Landfall, Creaturefall, Shroud | Ruhan of the Fomori - Stop hitting yourself | Zurgo Helmsmasher - Equipment&Wraths | Crosis, the Purger - Dragon Tribal Reanimator | Derevi, Empyrial Tactician - No stax, just tap and untap fun | Anafenza, the Foremost - Enduring Ideal Enchantress | Sharuum, the Hegemon - Sphinx Tribal Control | Noyan Dar - Spellslinger | The Mimeoplasm - Counterpalooza

Still convinced the guy on Beseech the Queen is wearing a Mitra-type hat. Wake up sheeple!

This and Kamigawa themed cards. I completely agree.

with llorwyn, theros, and innsitard, it is very possible we will get a kamigawa themed card.

Seems like the same objections as last year with "Tribal is so lame". C17 was the most purchased product of the Year. Can't we just wait and see?
Who said tribal was lame? I mean the tribes were not super appealing to me but i still love tribal. Dragons was making me itch the second Ur dragon and ramos were spoiled. I bough that the second it came out (And I am taking the 10th off work just so I can buy the product at midnight)
But we will see if I still want to buy the product. The themes this year are "meh" at best. I might buy one unless a really cool card gets spoiled (like Teferi's Protection) in which case I may still only buy (that) one, or a few. (I bought all four of c17, well 3 of them, my bro bought cats. i still don;t have a wizard deck or vampire, i just dissected them for cards. (kindred Dominance, Teferi's Protection.)

And I literally just built Selesnya Enchantress this last week... I suppose the staples are going to spike for whatever isn't in the deck.
You'd be surprised. I've got a Bant aura deck, and there hasn't been much price fluctuation on its pieces. The exception is Femeref Enchantress, which has spiked due to the C18 announcement and the fact that it's on the reserve list. The reserve list, it hurts me...

Was it really? Not surprised though, the decks were pretty interesting. I felt the Wizard deck could have been better at introducing more Wizards from past lore, of which there are many, but I loved the Dragon and Vampire decks.

That's ridiculous. Players are absolutely entitled to be upset if WotC doesn't deliver a satisfactory product, regardless of their explicit or implicit promises. If I feel that WotC has consistently proven time and again they don't actually know/care about what their players want, I would call that a loss of trust in the company. And lets just say, WotC hasn't exactly had a stellar record recently. Snubbing Serra once could be an oversight. If Serra is snubbed again (assuming other oldwalkers are in fact in C18) I have to assume it's intentional, and it would cause me to be dissatisfied with the product and WotC in general. That's perfectly logical.

Can you name any set where they have had a stellar record? (I mean for the standard. Not so I off products like commander. Every set releases a binchbof walkers that most do not want. And they started that stupid BaB promo crap. WotC do not are about their co summers at all. The Only reason they even do commander is the money.
It's the same with the anthologies. The secondary market would have been the only way to get mimeoplasm deck. But now you canbgetbit again and WotC gets money for it.
They released the global Aries worldwide even though it was suppose to only be China. MONEY.
Snubbing Serra once? Isn’t this product trying to get new people into the game and this format?
RAWR I WISH YAWGMOTH WERE A LEGEND CREATURE I CAN PLAY NOW I AM MAD THEY NEVER MADE ONE RAWR THIS PRODUCT IS DUMB I WILL NOT BUY AND WILL QUIT THIS FORMAT I REMEMBER THE NINETIES
Just be happy we are getting this product. The cards aren’t all winners, but I do think it’s an overall plus that WotC knows we want legends and multiplayer cards. Everyone feels so entitled.
Anyway, maybe this is the set where we get a version of Amulet of Vigor on a legend. Maybe a lands-only version. That would be neat.

A reprint of Sterling Grove would be even better.

BUT--
SERRA?
What is happening with Serra? They're not ... not breaking my heart again, are they?
I still hate Nahiri.
Yea no Serra, and I like Nahiri. Not my favorite but i do like her.

Almost, but the Transreliquat (man that sounds silly) can become an artifact permanently with that second cost. That's not nothin'.
