After a little help from the people of this forum, I realized my Queen Marchesa life gain deck was dead in the water, especially since there's almost nothing to do with lifegain in red. I'm thinking, now, that tokens might work better.
Is Mardu Token viable? If so, what are the best cards for it? I know Anointed Procession is good for doubling tokens, but what about God-Pharaoh's Gift? Is this sort of recursion good in EDH, or does the exiling make it too much trouble?
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Token is something Tana and Tymna the Weaver or just plain Saskatchewan over there can do.
For Mardu, though, an interesting option might be Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. I'll admit the options aren't ideal, though. And just remember, Alesha only cares about a creature's power in the graveyard.
